Riviera Beachotel - Adults Recommended

I have reviewed the Riviera so many times now I’m starting to bore myself. I literally cannot think of EVER staying anywhere else in Benidorm. The location, food, staff, cleanliness are ALL totally outstanding - my other reviews of the hotel can only be echoed again on our latest visit. Every visit is like coming home! Only 2 things that we missed this time (although it didn’t affect our enjoyment) were Gabrielle and the Riviera Music Lounge (it was closed for the whole of August). We have been coming to Benidorm for 16 years, 2 to 3 times a year. We have been on holiday to 5 different countries. And out of all the hotels we have stayed in. This hotel is number 1. From the moment you arrive and meet the lovely reception staff who are kind, fun and professional. I have my favourites but will not mention them as this is a team game. Being Scottish the next team to meet was the excellent hard working bar staff. Nothing was to much trouble. And onto the dinning area. The food was very good (big up to the kitchen staff) and again staff always had a smile and nothing was to much trouble. The cleaning and maintenance team also do a wonderful job the maintenance of the plants and trees are beautifully kept. Now the manager (get your hard hat on Gabrielle lol) you must be very proud of the staff you have. And now the down side.... why the hell did we not find this gem of a place that has so many stars that shine so bright before ? We are here till the 19th August. Please don't make us leave!!! Me and my Husband stayed here from the 7th June to the 14th June 2024, and we absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly, approachable and couldn't do enough for you. Any queries we had, they were quick to answer it. The situation of the hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the main strip/beach, but far enough away that you can get a decent nights sleep without any interruption from the loud nightclubs. We were half board so had Breakfast and Dinner included, and we were pleasantly surprised when we tried the food. The food was fresh, hot and very juicy. Some buffet style services, you can find the food a little dry from the heat lamps, but NOT here! The selection of food at Breakfast and Dinner was outstanding, with plenty of variety. Each day had a different variety of food, with some firm favourites available every day. The hotel's pool area is fairly small, however we didn't struggle to get a sunbed. This may be different in the height of summer, but I can't comment on that. The hotel's terrace is a great place to sit, morning, noon or night for either a coffee, light bite or soft/alcoholic drink. The staff were attentive and friendly even though they could be very busy. There is table service on the terrace, but you can also go inside to order if you prefer. Again, the light bites on the terrace were so tasty, and fresh. On the terrace they also have acts who perform. There is a DJ who comes 4 nights a week, and then on other evenings there are some singers. We saw the DJ most nights she was playing, and saw a few of the other acts. We loved the atmosphere on the terrace, and spent a lot of time here. The hotel also has a music lounge downstairs, where they have different acts on each night of the week. We visited this a couple of times, and loved the atmosphere down there. Again the staff were friendly and attentive. We saw Ruby Rox (Drag Act) here one evening, and it's honestly one to go watch! To sum up, we absolutely loved it here, and we'll definitely be coming back again.

Four night stay at the Hotel Riviera. Lovely accomodation in a great location. We were full board, Breakfast was the best we have had abroad. Lunch time food really good selection something for all tastes and Evening meal too. The restaurant was never too busy either. The front of the hotel has a lovely bar area with Music and Dj. The staff were really friendly and worked hard. Would definitely stay here again.

We didn’t stay at this hotel but we watched the football they have a fantastic outside area with loads of seating and a massive screen. Really good deals on buckets of lager and other drinks Amazing atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very clean modern toilets

The best hotel in benidorm. We as a couple have just returned! 3rd time this year! Already booked for next year! This hotel makes benidorm for me the hotel itself rooms cleaned to a spotless standard! Food amazing! It's one of the main reasons we return the food is everything! Especially the roasted pork with crackling and apple sauce unreal! Dessert bar my favourite part every night and also Mr whippy ice cream! The location is amazing everything on the door step 10/10 every time from us! See use all in 2025!
