Hotel Gala Placidia 3'''Sup

I found the hotel to be very clean, tidy and well maintained. The rooms were a little small but that wasn’t an issue. The rooms were clean, modern and welcoming, with a tidy balcony unless you were at the rear of the property facing Av de Estocolmo, which in my opinion would be disappointing. All of the staff that I came into contact with were friendly, helpful and cheerful. However des lite the hotel advising it doesn’t accept groups, stag nights and hen parties are there in abundance, constant noise and disrespect at all hours of the day. Noise during the night with people shouting, singing knocking on doors and of course footsteps. The main pool,side was lovely, and it advises, no smoking, no under 16, etc. This policy of the hotel is not maintained, and the pool is not peaceful. Also the “ groups” take over the pool, lots of swearing and bad language, music blaring out of Bluetooth speakers etc. So on the whole it’s a good standard of hotel, but the groups spoil it for everyone, the hotel would really benefit from enforcing some order and stop multiple people occupying rooms.

Lovely clean hotel , staff very friendly and helpful, we stayed all inc and was so worth it , great breakfast variety aswell as lunch and dinner. Up a slight incline but not as bad as other hotels , just a 5 minute walk from all the bars etc , number 10 bus to Altea stops at the end of the street highly recommended. Would return to this hotel every time .x

Absolutely brilliant entertainment, Andrea was fabulous, full of fun, laughter, singing and dance moves. Very polite and friendly staff who go above and beyond for everyone, make you feel very comfortable and try to involve everyone. Thank you for the best experience.

Very basic rooms. No Kettle. No fridge. Shower has two choices- freezing and hot. Food always cold and had to heat up in the1 microwave. Waiter in the restaurant was very rude. Lift was known to break down Overall very poor. On a plus side- good location

We were warmly welcomed on arrival and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely this hotel is. Super clean everywhere-even the pool toilets were spotless, rooms were modern, clean and spacious, enough storage for us 3 ladies. Great sized balcony. Great location-short walk to what we described as "crazy town" - great fun bars, so good for people watching! We stayed all inclusive-there was always a great variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner, food was mostly hot, the only criticism is the toaster at breakfast was so slow and only toasted one side of the bread! The bar staff were always friendly and helpful and all the drinks, wine and cocktails you needed. No worries getting sunbeds-five of us got one everyday. Overall we loved this hotel, i would definitely return. Thank you for a great stay

Stayed at the Gala Placidia 10th sept 2024 for 1 week. We arrived there at 12.30am approx and asked the receptionist if we good get a glass of water and was told that there was a 24hr supermarket at the bottom of the hill. Passers by at reception told us not to bother checking in (wished we had listened). Room was small but clean balcony was something like from final destination large crack running the whole length of the balconies on our floor and dipped down from crack. Went down to breakfast the next morning and everything was stone cold and when we said everything is cold we were told that there is a microwave in the corner to heat the food back up....ermmmm no thank you i dont want food poisoning from reheated sub standard food. We gave it another try a lunchtime and were told the same and the choice of foods available was diabolical. We skipped dinner and ate out that nite. We skipped breakfast and lunch the next day but thought we would give it a try for dinner that evening well what can i say the choice was ok if you like dogfish or catfish and yet again people were using the microwave to reheat their food. If you want food poisoning then by all means go to this hotel but if i was you i would stay clear. The evening entertainment consisted of quizzes, percy the parrot sitting on your shoulder, bingo and the worst magician ever..... we paid for all inclusive and ended up just sleeping there people you have been warned stay away from this hotel it is diabolical......

Stayed there mid-September. Breakfast buffet very good.. Dinner buffet is also good as long as you get there early. Drinks in the pool area, especially in the evening, are very relaxing and reasonable priced. Room comfortable and clean. Location is good only a few minutes walk from the nightlife. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very good hotel. Rooms comfortable and staff very friendly. Buffet is good but food gets colder as the closure time approaches so get to the buffet early. Food content very good though. Air conditioning excellent too. It's about a ten minute walk from the beach and fifteen minutes from the nightlife.
