Stayed for a very happy month here. On arriving collected key from hotel three hundred yards away up the street. There is a key to get into the compound and then same key to enter the building and another key to get into the room. All appeared to be very secure. The general area appeared to be safe with lots of Spanish people with children in the street at night. You can charge a mobility scooter in the safe compound area. There is a large park opposite the apartment block with the main City Council building located within it. During the November Fiesta there was a lot of activity within this City Council site. The Old Town is a ten minute walk away down a hill which people with mobility problems should be aware of, indeed this complex has a nearby sister building which would be more suitable for people with walking difficulties. There were four British bars nearby. The hotel up the road has a nice bar for a late nightcap. There is a first class chicken/ribs/ local sausage and local potato restaurant nearby. The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed regarding plates, cutlery, pots, microwave etc. The bedroom had air conditioning and good wardrobe space. The living room / dining area was a good size and led onto an enormous balcony which was L shaped and had the sun all day (room 13C) and a drying frame. There was a large fridge with a freezer compartment and a washing machine. The TV had BBC1 and 2. You remove your own rubbish to the bin area, although the cleaner took it on her weekly clean. The Wifi was first class. The shower had lots of hot water at any time of the day. I did not use the swimming pool, but there were places to sun bathe with the usual pool furniture. The rooms, towels and bed linen were changed once per week. All the staff were friendly. The restaurant attached to the complex is run by a non English speaking friendly Peruvian. The supermarket next door is enormous and has everything you would find in a large British supermarket, including a variety of on site baked breads. I would strongly recommend this establishment and it’s staff, but remember there is a hill to climb, it will keep you fit.

Basic older style apartment, but perfectly clean and great location for visiting old town and walking to all sreas. For the price cant really fault it and nice and quiet. I would quite happily come back here for week. Prob better for adults who plan to be out most of the stay. But pool is also very tidy and clean with good quality sunbeds. Comfy bed.

Arrived early hours in the morning .( Make sure you read small print where to collect keys as Apartment's closed) picked keys up and headed about a 10 minute walk to apartment. When you get in the gate, it doesn't look that bad . Is a small pool not allowed lilos or balls in . No jumping or diving. Although no one is there to tell you some of the guests do like to let you know, it's not allowed and get quite rude about it. Hair dryer , towels , washing machine , fridge provided. 1 toilet roll in the bathroom. Cups hit and miss 3 shared the apartment and only 2 cups in the room . Air con works great . The bedding in one of the beds was full of loose hairs, and the other bed had dead bugs on the sheet . The bed in the front room is a pull out mattress under the sofa very comfy though , sheets and pillows are provided . Very spacious, although very dated furniture and could do with a paint . The lifts are very tiny, and if you don't like small spaces, you won't like getting inside . Not a bad place overall . Cafe on site, although man doesn't understand or speak English he uses Google Translate . If disabled and use a wheelchair, not the place as the lifts won't get you in . Hosue cleaning lady very friendly and happy .

We've just arrived back once again from a FABULOUS stay at La Casseta apartments in Benidorm. Great location, facilities, clean and with everything you need for self catering. Easy reach to the old town and new, supermarket nextdoor, view's of the sea, park and arena,all in all you can't go wrong. We've stayed many a time now and wouldn't stay anywhere else,thank you ☺️ ps Wonderful Staff😘

THE GREAT: The security is excellent; you get a key to the front gate which is locked at all times so it feels very safe. The large balcony is excellent with great views to the sea and over the park opposite the hotel. The large kitchen is very well equipped with a big fridge. It's very clean although a little old and tired. Central location with a short walk to the old town and all its attractions. There is a superb, large Mercadona supermarket right next door. Staff are friendly and helpful. THE NOT SO GREAT: There is no one on reception over the weekend or in the evenings. There is an emergency number which we used when the kettle fused the lights on our first evening. Someone came promptly to investigate and we were shown how to turn a dial in the centre of the fuse box to reset the fuses which we needed to do several times. The kettle was promptly replaced on Monday when staff were in again. The coach from the airport drops you off on the Alfonso Puchades road at the top of the hill. If you arrive in the evening or at weekends you collect the keys from Prince Park Hotel which is a 3 minute walk away on the same road - there is a small notice on the gate telling you this, but it's hard to see in the dark. Similarly, when you leave you have to drag your suitcases up the hill to the Economy Cash bus stop on Alfonso Puchades road where the bus to the airport goes from. Bring a torch: finding the keyhole in the gate isn’t easy on a dark evening! As with many Spanish hotels, the ceilings are thin: we could hear every noise in the room above us, including chairs scraping and people walking in high heels at 3 am!

What a terrible place the apartment was dirty no enough utensils in the kitchen no bath mat so I slipped whilst having a shower had to buy one myself also had to buy cleaning materials to clean and mop everywhere only 1 small bin only good point was the beds were comfortable
