Everyone has different standards. Somebody might feel that there were no issues to complain about, but that does not mean everything was perfect. There’s a big difference between good and perfection. Sometimes good is all we are looking for, and sometimes perfect is what we seek. Let me begin by saying that what makes this hotel so special are the people that work here, so caring,kind, and considerate. Yes, we had quite a few downfalls, but every issue we had was addressed and put right. This is down to a receptive GM who listened to us and made the changes. I have always found that if you have an issue, raise it and give the hotel a chance to put things right. Even though I can not rate this hotel with 5 stars, the luxury is missing, and the hotel is worn and tired looking. Little things such as cushion covers in the main buffet restaurant and pool sunbed covers which have lost their bounce and newness. I am aware that this is an old hotel, as with older properties, ageing is one of the problems. It needs a face-lift, but this is being done as we speak. Rooms are being refurbished, and the painting and decorating team are hard at it.I have no doubt that in a few years, they will reach their 5 stars. But I feel for the money charged, it is worth what you are paying for. I praise the team for all their hard work, their humbleness and devotion, and I would like to thank you for making our stay so memorable. ❤️
