Hotel berhampiran Anhalter Train Station, Berlin

a budget hotel with budget facilities. I expected nothing more and nothing less. In my experience it is what it says in the description. The location is good, close to a metro station and within walking distance of checkpoint Charlie. The hotel had a nice bar area adjoining the check in desk. With a comfortable place to sit down. The bed is very soft though in a twin room they are too close together. The hotel offers AC in the hotel room and a radiator for towels in the bathroom. However the AC is a bit week, so give yourself plenty of time to cool down before you sleep.

J’ai passé une nuit dans cet établissement 4 étoiles situé à proximité de la place Potsdam et bien desservi par les transports en commun. À mon arrivée, l’accueil fut très froid, vraiment pas à la hauteur de ce qu’on attend de ce type d’établissement, L’hôtel aurait également besoin d’un gros lifting. Concernant les services proposés, j’ai pu profiter du sauna mais ses horaires d’ouverture sont très limités (de 17 à 20 heures uniquement), Pour ce qui est de la chambre, celle-ci était assez grande, la salle d’eau était pourvue d’une baignoire et d’une douche, la literie est de qualité mais les coussins sont à changer au plus vite (beaucoup trop mous).. Le petit déjeuner, lui, était de bonne qualité.

Pillows very flat and non existent. Some of staff attitude were something to be desired. Beyond basic amenities in the room. €4 for bottle of water in room crazy when vending machine downstairs €2 for water. Didn’t make it easy to redeem incentive for not using housekeeping. Safe in room didn’t work

Good hotel, reasonable, great location and attentive staff. Breakfast is very generous, so pay for that. room was small, but had a desk and full bathroom and double bed, what else could you ask for. View was a parking lot but it also meant that it was quiet. Hot water pressure and internet speed were both good. Bathroom showed its age a little, but was fine.

We had very nice staying at hotel. Location is in very city centre, S-bahn station around the corner. Also supermarket and cafes. Room was big enough for 4 person (2 adults and 2 children). Clean, cozy, new furniture, big bathroom with bath and shower, big TV and comfortable beds. Room has very good darkening curtains - good for daytime sleepig for kids. Very good breakfast. At the lobby there was playground for kids. Minor shortcoming was only 2 chairs in the room and it´s vise to have a beakfast rather earlier than later, as there can be quite big queue. Definately will recommend for families!

Probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Arrived late and had been told in advance that unfortunately there was no babybed for our child - however I was not told this until I had already paid for our stay. We chose the hotel, because they proclaimed to have private parking, but upon our arrival, the parking was sold out. So we started off with no bed for our child and no parking for our car. The staff was doing their job (yet, not going beyond expectation), so this horrible experience is not about them. They discussed if we should park in the alley behind the hotel, but agreed that it was not safe and recommended parking nearby (at the price of 25€ for one day). What made this stay horrible happened after arrival. We were given a room on the ground floor, which was 10 stairs up with no elevator and I was alone with three suitcases, a stroller and our child to carry up the stairs, while my husband tried to find parking. The room we entered smelled so bad that someone must have died in there. Or at least the room had not been cleaned for a while. There were long dark hair in the bed and dirt and grease on the floor. With no babybed our 2-year old had to sleep on a madres on this floor, since the bed was a bunk bed but with too little space for all three of us. The air condition was set to keep the room at a temperature between 18-22 degrees, however the room was freezing and we could not get the heat up. Finally the pillows were small and flat and we ended up checking out after only 7 hours at the hotel and with a minimum of sleep. So in short: would never, ever book this hotel again and advice you to find something else for your stay.

Great location near check point and other landmarks. Only hot water in room no free coffee. Some staffs are friendly some aren’t so much I was confused with their city tax was charged 2.30 euros once and then 4.70 euros. Maybe it’s by percentage not a fixed rate no one in front desk was able to explain Check out was strict at 11 or 13 euros an hour Nice courtyard to relax

Sesuai untuk lawatan pertama ke berlin. Anda boleh sampai ke setiap kejiranan lain di berlin dengan mudah dan anda sangat dekat dengan tempat pelancongan utama. Anda boleh melempar batu dan memukul pusat pemeriksaan, yang sangat dekat. Ruangan itu sempurna dan dengan bunyi yang sangat minimum dari para tetamu dan jalan-jalan. Well appointed clean hotel in central location close to S Bahn station. Short walk to Potsdamer platz and Brandenburg gate. The waiting staff were very helpful but we felt the house keeping was below expectations. Small shower gel etc not replenished and towels removed and not replaced. We would go back , but take our own toiletries next time and that’s not what you expect from a hotel of this standard.

This hotel has had a revamp and is now called the Art Hotel, Park Plaza. There is another Park Plaza nearby…..we ended up there first! So don’t get confused!! Once you find this hotel….we arrived on the day of a national strike… it’s fab. Ignore the journey planner…. This hotel is a less than 10 min walk from the western end of the U1 line. The room we had was on 5th floor on a quite busy street, but it was so quiet we didn’t realise it until we looked out of the window the following morning. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, a great night sleep was had by us both. Shower was a big rainfall type with a smaller head shower head option if you wanted. Complimentary Elemis shower gel, hand wash, as well as body lotion. Breakfast was worth every penny as part of your B&B option. Otherwise it’s €18 for a full option or €5 for coffee and a croissant in the bar. Breakfast was fresh, pastries, cheese, meats, toast, mushrooms, sausage, bacon, pancakes, cereals, yoghurts; you could make your own fresh juice from fresh veggies & fruits. Coffee was excellent (I was told)…. I took my own teabags as I am very fussy, and made great tea. There is a spectacular hot water urn……that is very ornate and was awesome. Staff were multilingual and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very insightful about the local area, and the available public transport options. I would highly recommend this hotel which has pop art throughout. We are planning to head back to visit Berlin again and we will most certainly stay here again.
