We just spent 5 nights at the Regent. We booked their least expensive room and it was still fabulous. This is one of those hotels that does everything right. The hotel lobby and the rooms are elegant and yet not stuffy. The staff is totally friendly to everyone - from the business people in the breakfast rooms right on over to us traveler types in our polar fleece and REI travel pants:) Breakfast is excellent. The beds are comfortable, the sheets high quality. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are incredible. Full tub, large shower, big mirrors, good lighting. The toiletries are L’Occitane. There’s a high-end coffee maker and pods. The locations is perfect. We did a ton of walking - and in walking, I saw many of the other Berlin hotels I had considered in my research. None of the other locations is this perfect - especially for a first-time tourist to Berlin. We could walk to Museum Island in under 10 minutes. 10 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate. 10 minutes to the Checkpoint Charlie area. I cannot compliment the Regent enough. It is one of those rare hotels that just did it all right for us.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The breakfast is fantastic and has good vegetarian options, with very attentive staff. The bar is not cheap, however the quality is excellent. The reception is visually impactful, and the staff are brilliant. The gym is currently being repaired which is a shame, however they have made alternative arrangements available for guests that are desperate. Unfortunately this is one of the few areas of Berlin that does not have easy access to delightful late night takeaway food, however it is perfect for tourist sites.

One of the best hotels of our entire Europe trip. The hotel is conveniently situated right outside of the S/U-bahn station, Berlin Friedrichstrasse station. There are two entrances for the hotel and both look very grand, the lobby is nicely decorated and they even prepared tea and a light snack (cake/cookies) for guests while we chill at the lobby. Check-in was pleasant and the hotel staffs were all extremely polite and cheerful, really make our day. We were assigned a room at level 4 with a very nice city view, the room is clean, spacious and it is really contemporary and modern, with a huge mirror for your daily OOTD shots. The breakfast was really great, the spread was huge and it provides a many selections to cater to different needs. I extremely love their pancake making machine which makes fresh pancakes within 30sec. The staffs were attentive to clear off the plates and helpful. Overall, it was a perfect stay and we will definitely visit NH Berlin again!

Four things to know about this hotel before you book. 1. If you book early you will pay more. 311 euros a night booked three months ahead. 200 euros a night booked three weeks ahead. Look at any booking website. 2. On check-in they take the full amount of your stay from your credit card, plus a 50 euros a day deposit ”in case you use the mini-bar”. (In fact the mini-bar is empty - see photo). This might be a problem if you have credit limit issues. 3. They use sweaty, clammy poly-cotton bed-linen - see photo of label. You cannot change hotels because they have already trousered your money. To sleep properly we had to buy our own fully cotton bed-linen - see photo of receipt. The reason they use poly-cotton is explained on the manufacturer's website: ​”Bed linen must be lightweight...thus allowing staff to work faster....Experience shows that savings of 5 to 10% can be achieved”. Nothing about the comfort of guests. The staff say that all Westin hotels use poly-cotton. Totally unacceptable in a serious hotel and we shall not stay in a Westin hotel again. 4. Because of the hotel's layout, most bedrooms are 50 to 120 meters from the elevators. In the course of a day you can easily walk a kilometre or more to and from your room. In other respects it is well positioned, if you wish to be in Mitte, the breakfast is good, and the staff are professional and helpful to the extent that the chain allows. Garden rooms are a very little bit smaller than rooms on the street, but much quieter and a few have a balcony.

Very nice hotel if you’re on a budget. A 2 minute walk from Alexanderplatz station and it’s just a 10 minute walk to museuminsel. Plenty of choices for places to eat around as well. The breakfast was great, lots of choices and it goes until 11am. Room was nice too, I had no complaints.

In summary: Superb breakfast, good rooms, pretty good location (but there are better in Berlin), a few details could be improved. Good value for money. Accor has a huge range of hotels in Berlin, this is for them a midrange offering. The rooms are of reasonable size, I had a huge bathroom, minibar and room safe. Very clean. Bed surprisingly comfortable. Free wifi good enough for video streaming (there's also 'premium wifi' you can pay for). TV and heating controls fussy. Shower gel holder in the bathroom remained empty throughout my four day stay though there was liquid soap by the sink. Reading lights in room below average. Reception friendly, a little chaotic. The hotel restaurant is open in the evenings, snacks and drinks available after hours. Locked luggage storage next to reception. Breakfast is really nice - great coffee and fruit juice, all the rest as you would expect including some cold fish dishes. One level below an 'omelette bar' status but still pretty good for this price level of hotel. Location in Berlin Mitte is pretty good - they're two U-Bahn stations and several bus stops within a few minutes' walk, even though some of the bus schedules are a bit disappointing. Nikolaiviertel is 5 minutes walk away and if you increase your walking time to 15 minutes you can get to Alexanderplatz and Museuminsel easily enough. There are better location hotels in Mitte but it's quite OK really. Good value for money; rates vary quite a bit by day of the week (so if your travel days are flexible play around with your stay dates). I generally stay either more downmarket or more upmarket than this but it's interesting to see how a midrange hotel works - quite OK, though as often in this category of hotel proactive detail management doesn't get priority. I would recommend.

This is a modern functional hotel (which we booked via BA holidays) apparently popular for conferences, so you get the picture. Four of us went for a city break. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Gendarmenmarkt. Spittelmart U-bahn is 2 minutes away. Easy and welcoming check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower although the wash basin had the depth of a birdbath. What was surprising was the amount of wasted space in the bedroom with a great void between the bed and the door which could have been used for some proper drawers and shelves. As it was, there was only 1 drawer and 3 shelves, one of which was useful only if you were 2 metres tall (see photo). The wardrobe, if you could call it that, was an open hanging space, but it was situated at right angles to a padded seat (see photo) making accessibility difficult and there was only one chair in the room. Tea-making facilities were available but instant coffee only and powdered milk. We used to take a small jug of milk from breakfast and keep it in the fridge. There was a very good and comprehensive breakfast with just about everything one could want. As a morning tea drinker I cannot comment on the coffee which came from a machine, but there was an excellent selection of leaf teas. The hot food was OK, but nothing cooked to order so that eggs were either warm scrambled or hard boiled. Staff were very helpful and dishes promptly refilled. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as the menu looked pretty basic but there are restaurants within walking distance. All in all, nothing special but I would still recommend it for a short stay.

I had 2 downpayments, but he even not bothered to check the 2 one and threw me away at 11pm without any reason, knowing very well that I will not find a place for overnight. Greed, rabble and laziness. Incredible rudeness and lack of honesty. He even slandered me suggesting that I wanted to cheat him! What an offence. Rabble! It is the last thing I would make. To the contrary - for the sake of honesty I wanted him to check and to acknowledge 2 downpayments. Don t worry, HG, I have the money, it was not the question of money (very small indeed) , but of honour , but he probably will never know, what the honour is. Can he understand such a thing!? His job - it was to look for the email with a second downpayment, but he didn t bother, just refused even to look.! I loved this hostel for many years, until today, Years ago it was a nice atmosphere, and the handsome, kind elderly boss reigned here... Incredible rabble. Deutsche ubermensch. Very rude treatement I will describe it on social web Au revoir Das ist die Deutsche Kultur :( Adieu

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Numa Nook Berlin. The apartment was so clean and had everything you could possibly need. The balcony was an added bonus to have breakfast & nightcaps! We had the most restful & comfortable sleep ever, pillows & mattress & duvet brilliant! The apartment block is literally round the corner from a huge choice of cafes, restaurants and all sight seeing is very easily accessible. Communication via email was efficient and never without delay. We can highly recommend Numa Nook and would love to return.

Only downside is upon arrival 3/4 of the locks didn’t work in our rooms so we had to get reception to fix. However, they were very efficient and felled straight away. I was checked in by a friendly receptionist at 1:20 pm and received my room right away. The lobby was nicely decorated and gave the impression of a 4-star city hotel. However, the room did not reflect 4-star standards as it was very small and a bit worn out yet clean and tidy. The room could fit a luggage rack, a small closet, a small desk as well as a small coffee table and two chairs. The queen bed was comfortable and the pillows great. The high ceiling gave the room an airy feel but the floorboards were showing their age and would need to be treated. There was a 0.5 L water bottle in the room on arrival, not replenished. There was also a safe and A/C. The trams outside were a bit noisy, but I slept well nevertheless. The thick curtains did a good job keeping the room dark in the morning. The bathroom came with a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure in the handheld shower. Amenities (shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and body lotion; no conditioner) were from Molton Brown, which is a brand I like, but they were provided in wall-mounted containers, which I don’t find as hygienic as single-use bottles even though I of course understand the motivation of saving money this way. Breakfast was served in the ground floor dining room 7–11 (weekends until noon). It would have cost a reasonable 17 EUR/person, but I did not try it. Check-out is already at 11, although they were happy to allow me to stay in the room until noon and to store my luggage until my evening flight. The hotel is located in Hackerscher Markt, with lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. The nearest Spätkauf for drinks and snacks is on the next block, and the S-Bahn to the airport is a few minutes away. Alexanderplatz is within walking distance; the centre of West-Berlin is a train ride away. Hotel prices in Berlin seem to have gone through the roof post-covid, and my nightly rate of 95 EUR felt a bit much. But I can very well see myself returning in future if the price is right. All in all a solid choice for a business trip or short holiday in Berlin.

We were for a few days in Berlin to do sightseeing und entertainment. soi the location of the hotel was perfect- close to train, bus, shops, restaurants and more. also the rooms were modern, but I missed more lights in my room, in the night the lights were to dark for me...they had nice cosmetic products for hand washing, shower und hair wash, bur I missed a body lotion und shoes for the room. Our rooms were on garden-side, so it was really quite. everybody was really friendly and helpful!

Very nice hotel with fantastic staff and atmosphere in a great location. From the behaviour of other guests it was obvious that this is a place people like coming back to. Just a few nits to pick: The tech does not work (online check-in is broken, trying to change channels on the TV is a struggle with the unified tablet/remote), rooms are very small, the bar was closed. The restaurant kitchen closes at ten, at least on weekdays.

We reserved the smallest room (comfort) and immediately realized that we would need to upgrade to the superior room. I am traveling with my aunt and we need 2 beds. The comfort room was so small that the 2 beds were together with little space to move on the sides. It was not suitable for us. The pictures do show all the twin beds together, but naturally we assumed that they could be separated. When we asked about changing rooms, the delightful woman at the front desk (Victoria) graciously offered to show us the options available for the bigger rooms. We viewed the executive and superior rooms and were happy to pay the 15 Euro more for the superior room. Well worth the extra money given the difference in size. Now that we were settled with our room, we were off to explore Berlin. The location of this hotel is ideal. I learned that Mitte means center and surely this hotel is centrally located. Easy to find and easy to get to/ from. A special thank you to Victoria and her colleague at the front desk. We were very pleased with our experience at the Leonardo Berlin Mitte and would recommend to others.
