Cheap and cheerful good value for money location 👌 extras can be added as an when

Entrance and lift area not cleaned for ages, room in poor condition, tv smashed, curtain with aged holes, wall scartched with potts, radioator rusty, true we had a dog but that doesn't mean we didn't want to stay at a 3* hostel, we payed just like the rest of the customers, our the room was not 3* at all not even one star. Staff at the reception was friendly laundry and towells clean. Hope the bad things will be remediated.

The reception was a little unfriendly, for the rest the room was large and everything was correct. It is a very old hotel but for the price it is not bad It only seemed to me that check out was very early at 10 in the morning, normally in the hotels I have been to it is always at 11 am or even on Sundays at 12 pm

This hotel was ideal for us visiting family who live in Bournemouth, our room was clean and tidy and the staff were so helpful, the only thing that let it down for me and I would have given higher scores was that we never got the room service for the 3 days we were there, I work within this industry and I know rooms should be serviced even if it is a knock on the door and ask if anything is needed etc, but the hotel is nice especially having the swimming pool and games room

The hotel is very dated and could do with a significant renovation. For example old worn carpets, paint rubbed of stair banisters in public areas, and in the room the bathroom had cracked tiles and mouldy seals around the bath. Bathroom fittings were modern though so not all bad. Surprised at the prices of Bournemouth hotels at the weekend. This is one of the cheapest, but still felt at £90 / night the standard should have been higher.

Busy place with a great atmosphere. Good place to wind down when you've been busy all day

Fairly decent stay. Worth the price I paid, nothing special but comfy sleep. Shower was nice, and everything I needed for a few nights. Would stay again.

Terrible service, on the system provided single room when we arrived there gave us two twin rooms finally my friend must pay more to get King size for her bed, bad service. not recommended.

Great size rooms with bath.. good restaurant and free swimming pool

Excellent location…close to the beach, 10-15min walk from train station and 5-10 min walk to get to food shops. Room we had was excellent value for money, paid for a standard double and got a family room! Staff friendly and reasonably helpful, we asked for a couple of cereal bowls and spoons to take up with us one evening but only went away with one bowl and no spoons lol…no explanation why!! Overall is best cheap hotel we’ve stayed at in Bournemouth .

Rather grim seaside hotel. The staff look depressed and the rooms are filthy. There was a whole in the ceiling of the door to my room with dripping water. I got lost existing the hotel and was verbally abused by a member of staff. This hotel also smells guide strongly of cigarette smoke and ********.

Although the room was clean, there was no soap and the soap dispenser in the shower was broken. The heating was not enough, we felt cold at night. And there was no free wifi in the room and £7 per hour if we want it. The staff told me free wifi available at sitting area ground floor but connection was very poor.
