Fantastic location of a once former Grand 5* hotel in Bournemouth! Needed single room last minute. Now they boast having cheapest ensuite rooms with baths in town. Anything romantic, maybe search elsewhere 🤷🏼♂️ For price, great value and amenities! Leisure pool if you don’t fancy or risk swimming/ bathing in the sea! Security guard in reception is worrying reflection of todays clientele! Pity the hen and stag weekenders will not save this place !

Great location for daytime but not so much for night. Very noisy outside until at least 3am. We had a family room and it was excellent. Loads of space in the main bedroom and then a separate bedroom with two single beds. Beds were really comfortable. We only ate breakfast in the hotel which was buffet style. Large selection available and it was very good. The car parking at the hotel wasn’t great. We had to drop our cases then find alternative parking. This was not easy as all nearby car parks were full - cheerleading competition on at BIC. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Had a good welcoming. Front desk employees work fast and professionally. My room was on the 7th floor and I had a nice city view. Rooms are clean and all the necessary amenities are provided. Unfortunately there was no available time in the spa in the morning.

Location is uphill, just 7 minutes walk to the beach with lots of restaurants to choose from. Few things even though which said were included in the room were not there (hair dryer, bags in bins, sufficient tea/coffee sachets), may be you have to ask for them at reception, which if you have to do so for basic things, it is not as per the Hampton by Hilton standards (I have stayed at other branches in different cities). Breakfast was decent, loved the Juices and Danish swirls.

The hotel itself is a little tired but the room we stayed in was spotless we had clean sheets and towels every day room was cleaned every day. Staff were so helpful and friendly,myself and our 7 year old used the pool and games room every day .We only booked for two nights but we’re lucky to book the same room for a extra night .would definitely recommend Laguna Hotel already looking to book up for 2024. Considering it was the school holidays we found Laguna Hotel very reasonable priced, especially considering all the fascilities they have that are included in the price of your stay.

We were at this property during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel is close to the Bournemouth Town Centre. I cannot say that this is walkable to the Beach. It takes a good 5 mins drive to the beach from the hotel. The Good things The reception team is fab especially Mikolaj. When we arrived the room was not ready as we arrived an hour early. He offered us free drinks while we waited for the check-in. The breakfast was good. They serve the hot breakfast on small plates rather than letting the guests make the mess. I liked this concept. And of course, you can order omelette or French toast which the cook happily makes for you. The onsite parking is small and cramp- try basement The worst part This is a pretty standard no frills hotel. It didn’t feel like a mid-range property either. The worst part is the dinner- Both the food as well as the staff. The food felt like heated from frozen- pretty bland. And I would not rather comment on the staff including the manager. I found it amazing how rude a person can be while working in an hospitality industry- the lady with grey hair (I don’t want to name and shame in the public forum. I was equally disappointed the way the matter was handled by the person who introduced himself as the manager.

Love this quirky hotel! Very reasonably priced, every room we’ve seen is spacious and welcoming. Overall standard of cleanliness is not perfect but acceptable, bedding and bathrooms always clean and fresh. Good location but at the top of quite a steep hill so a free workout if choosing to walk from town! Staff friendly and accommodating.

Loads of space in the main bedroom and then a separate bedroom with two single beds. Beds were really comfortable. We only ate breakfast in the hotel which was buffet style. Large selection available and it was very good. The car parking at the hotel wasn’t great. We had to drop our cases then find alternative parking. This was not easy as all nearby car parks were full - cheerleading competition on at BIC. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

I recently stayed here for two nights when visiting the area and could not have been happier with what I experienced. As an ex-Hotel Manager of over 35 years expertise, I know what to expect, and if something isn't right, I'd say so. Not so with this establishment; from arrival to checkout, the place was faultless. My room was exceptionally clean (I know the usual dust traps, but there were none!), the room had everything I needed and standards that matched some of the major Chain Hotel groups. Breakfast on both mornings was really good, it was plentiful, with a decent buffet of cold items, and cooked breakfast was piping hot and well presented. It was a surprise on arrival to see the ”Four in a Bed” Winning plaque at the front door; I can understand why, as I was very impressed with my stay, will heartily recommend it, and will return without fail on future visits to the area.

Best hotel I've stayed in across the UK. It's not meant to be a 5 star I know but I'm not sure how much more the staff would need to do to get the 5 stars. They've been very decent with me and my Mrs where other hotels would have been looking for reasons to moan and more and they manage to treat us properly whilst keeping all the other guests happy too. David and peanut were the perfect hosts from start to finish. We arrived for a short break, a belated honeymoon and were greeted by both of them at the door. Shown to our room which was spotless. A lovely touch from David were the rose petals on the bed upon our arrival. The decor was modern with plenty of storage space. TV was better than the usual hotel ones. There was an amazon stick so we could access less mundane channels. The room was the spa room with a separate toilet and separate bathroom. An added bonus was the jacuzzi, that was so relaxing, along with a decent sized shower. Toiletries were also supplied. Would recommend to everyone to stay with David and Peanut.
