Jjobentanreally thankful for the whole team for letting us move our accommodation as it was our fault for booking at the wrong date,but still managed to let us change even in our last hour of asking🥹😇🙏, and even packed us breakfast at 4am as we all need to leave early heading to the airport, really appreciate it dusitd2 team davao!!🥹😇🙏❤️..very kind and nice stuff!! salute to all!

PPengguna TetamuI would like to commend the hospitality of the staffs it's safe to say that they are well oriented in accommodating their customers. The cleanliness is 101%, not only the room wherein you can't see a single mishaps in cleaning but as well as the stairs going it's thoroughly cleaned. Early in the morning you can see the staffs cleaning in the hallway. I suggest and hope that they will care to provide each floors with its own water dispenser because it's quite inconvenient to walk down and upstairs again just to get water to drink. I hope they also serve breakfast rice meals.hehe But overall it was a good stay. Surely, we'll be choosing The Strand Suites and Dormitel in our next stay in Davao. Kudos! and God bless!

PPengguna TetamuHotel location is perfect. Walking distance to People’s Park (5mins), Bangkerohan (7mins), San Pedro Cathedral and Osmena Park (15mins). Nearby Mercury drug store which opens until 10pm.
24/7 McDo and Greenwich. 5min drive to Roxas Night Market. May jeep na dumadaan sa tapat ng hotel but most of the jeepney drivers don’t know the Gov Duterte St. mas familiar sa kanila ang Ilustre St. then walk towards to hotel which is 2mins lang.
Lunch and dinner buffet is being offered, daming waiting.
Hotel is not recommended para sa maaarte. Luma na ang establishment at mahina ang toilet flush, no bidet. Provided ang pail and dipper.
Mahina din ang aircon but enough to make a room cool temperature.
No hair dryer and hand towel. Only body towel, soap and shampoo/conditioner are their toiletries.

YYkhca_TravelsWe arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for.
When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem.
Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

AAriel Lagamoni stayed on the 5th flloor and the female cleaning attendant is not courteous even when we we’re together in the elevator as if i was not there…Pls tell your staffs to be courteous, friendly all the time.

MMs. HayleyFrom the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help. 
We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests. 
One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe. 
Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property. 
Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility. 
That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects. 
Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality.
In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Its attentive staff, well-appointed rooms, great amenities, and strategic location combine into a memorable experience. For those planning a trip to Davao, whether quick or extended, this hotel is a solid bet.

I had a really nice time at [Hotel Name]. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was great—close to everything I needed. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which had lots of good options.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

PPengguna TetamuAs a couple we chose to stay at grand regal hotel davao from dec. 31, 25 to jan. 2, 26. We did not enjoy as we expect. The room service for food they served it cold, we call on the telephone for several time to carry out our order then they served it an hour and the food was cold. The breakfast buffet are all cold besides we go down to eat at exact time 6:30am. The amenities like gym are open but not functioning. I only enjoy the swimming pool as a total.
