We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

Persekitaran ok, bilik agak kemas, lampu bilik air agak malap, meja penyambut tetamu 24 jam, perkhidmatan ok, ada tempat letak kereta tetapi kerana kami tidak memandu, kami tidak Maklumlah, tiada pemandangan kerana terdapat bangunan tinggi di sekeliling, tetapi di bawahnya terdapat restoran dan pasar raya yang lazat. Anda boleh berjalan kaki ke jalan komersial dalam masa 10 minit. Banyak kedai termasuk kedai mewah, restoran, bar. Ia juga merupakan hotel yang disyorkan. Menyeberangi jambatan di tingkat bawah ke tebing selatan bertentangan dan Brisbane Sign yang terkenal. , Ada roda Ferris di sebelahnya, tempat foto

Recommend if you are looking for a clean and quality place to stay and are a budget traveller. This yha has a very high standard compared to others. It is more like a youth hotel with bunk beds rather than a backpackers place. You also meet travellers of all ages, families and youth groups around the place. The rooms are super tidy and serviced daily, spacious luggage lockers that fit a large suitcase (fantastic!) and are light filled with aircon or windows to be opened. The kitchen is very big, nice rooftop terrace with city views and pool area. Tv lounge and soon it’s own co working hub which I think is a great addition to the concept. Free luggage storage for guests and friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed there for a week business trip. The location for me was excellent and the small cafes around are great for breakfast before work. The room was excellent and very well kept. Being a self contained it was easy to cook with all the required utensils. However, if you wanted to give cooking a miss there are heaps of places near by.

Room was nice, clean, new and accessible. The location was great, nice vibe in the area with great shopping and eating/drinking venues. Staff very polite and helpful. Train from airport to the valley and about 10 min walk to the Sage.

I recently stayed at the Soho Hotel Brisbane from January 3rd to January 4th, 2024, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The check-in process went smoothly; the staff was very welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel's central location made it easy for me to explore the city. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room amenities. Overall, it was a delightful stay at the Soho Hotel Brisbane.

Kelebihan: harganya murah, persekitaran keseluruhan bilik terasa baik, anda juga dapat melihat pemandangan sungai, dan senang berkeliling. Tingkat bawah adalah restoran Cina yang sangat lazat. Kekurangan: Kemudahannya agak umum, dan perkhidmatannya juga sangat umum. Contohnya, jika pengering rosak, saya perlu memanggil seseorang untuk membaikinya, dan saya tidak mempunyai telefon di dalam bilik. Saya mesti menggunakan telefon bimbit saya untuk membuat panggilan di kaunter penerimaan tetamu. Saya tidak mempunyai penyangkut di dalam bilik ... Sekiranya saya mahukan syampu pada waktu malam, saya mesti pergi ke kaunter penerimaan tetamu untuk mendapatkannya. dan banyak lagi…

Everything is good except my credit card is incorrectly charged amount of 37 aus dollar 10miniutes after checking out so I have to walk back to the hotel to talk to the reception. He told me that it is an error from the system which make me feel upset as if I didnt get the message from my credit card or just didnt pay attention to the message right away I will be chraged from the hotel for no reasons....so now i have to check again with my bank when i go back home to make sure that this amount wont be charged to my card which quite wasting my time.
