I asked AI where to stay in brussels and it recommended this area . The hotel was right in the action, by the main station and the old town square. All the historical sites were close at hand. I'm really pleased I chose it.

We really liked this hotel. Just around the corner from central station, two doors down and you can get the metro and a five minute walk down to the main square. We just had a standard double and it was really spacious and had everything we needed. Tip for management, we had a room with balcony on the 5th floor facing lots of offices and there were no voile/net curtains, so everyone could see in. We also didn’t want to close the blackout curtains in the middle of the day and put the light on. So recommend the hotel adds these to rooms. Free tea and coffe in reception as well as room. Breakfast nice, not a huge choice but enough for us. Could do with a bit more fruit. On one day only whole oranges, no fruit salad or other pieces of fruit to go with yoghurt. Would defo recommend staying here though. Staff really helpful and friendly.

Personnel de l’hôtel et service au client au top du top. De plus, j’ai passé un agréable séjour. Rien à redire sur la chambre. Je séjournerai de nouveau en dans cet hôtel si je dois revenir dans ce coin à Bruxelles.

Op voorhand hadden we contact met eigenaar Paul omdat we een B&B zochten waar we ook onze fietsen kwijt konden . Direct super vriendelijk antwoord terug. Natuurlijk kon dat Voor een vriend was er geen kamer vrij maar zijn fiets mocht ook daar staan en hij was welkom voor een gezamenlijk ontbijt. En wat een prachtig gerestaureerde kamers Een aanrader! Wij gaan zeker terug...

The Hotel Agora is in a good location, about 3 minutes walk from the Centraal train station and 5 minutes walk to Grand Place and just about every tourist attraction - chocolate shops! - are minutes, if not seconds, away. Reception is open 24 hours with English speaking staff who were all very pleasant. There is no elevator in the hotel, which may be a problem for people with reduced mobility. My main concern was going down the very narrow, winding staircase, with my small feet overhanging the steps. Narrow in more ways than one! But there's not much they can do with a heritage building. If you suffer from vertigo, this hotel will be a bad choice. My room was large enough for one person and at first glance looked clean. However when I walked to where the kettle, tea, and coffee were set up, the floor was sticky. Likewise the tray holding all these items. Dirty and sticky. I knocked off one star for the lack of cleanliness. And made sure I kept shoes on at all times in the room! I thought it was a little overpriced, especially when the room had sticky floors and tray, but I liked how the hotel is environmentally friendly which is one of the main reasons I booked here.

The facility was very close to the railways station and tram/bus lines! Walkable distance. The property had staff that were very friendly and maintained the property very neatly! Cleaning of rooms was extremely well done!
