Hotel Brussels dengan Gim

Check-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait. The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay. When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not. If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in. Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10). The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English. The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.

We stayed 2 nights and thank god it wasn’t any longer. As much as the bed was a very large bed and comfortable, the surrounding around was grotty. Brussels in general around here was awful. The room was pokey and small, walked into things while staying there. Forget being any bigger than slim, the bathroom was a shoe box! Your back is basically touching the wall, while facing the basin and the toilet roll holder is right in your face when you’re sitting on the toilet and your head almost touching the wall in front of you lean forward. No room for you to dry yourself in the bathroom itself unless you stand in the shower and do it. The hotel itself is beautiful, but lacks in the room which is the important part. Check in and out system is ridiculous. They’ve set up 3 ways to do so. Online via email, in person or on their check in kiosk. The issue with this, is you’re still made to go to reception! What’s the point of saying you can do it all online or at the kiosk if I still have to go to someone at reception? Remove your unnecessary online/kiosk. When checking in, I felt hostility from the staff member when I said I got an email to check in at the kiosk and I’ve already done it, so I didn’t want to waste more time doing it again. Then when I checked out via email, I got a notification to say the city charge was paid and I could leave. Thankfully for the hotel, I needed to drop my luggage and the lady still asked for my room number and said I still needed to pay for the city tax. Another example of a failed online system, just a waste of time. Then when I came back to get my luggage, I found that the tag with the same number was on multiple bags and the girl came out with 2 bags that weren’t mine and eventually had to come in and look for it myself. Apparently they used the same number but the girl gave me the wrong colour tag to my luggage tag. Again, another stupid system. Why are you not using unique numbers? Instead of relying on the same numbers but different colours?! All in all, stay somewhere else. There are nice parts of Brussels, but this area is not it and the closer you are to Brussels Nord station, you’ll feel like you’ve just entered Skid Row. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or the area. Nice big gym for a hoteland probably the very few positives about the stay.

The hotel was nice and has a parking garage (25 euros per night) need to be paid separately. It’s located near the Grand place, the room was nice but the hot water system takes quite long to warm up and is difficult to control. The only problem was that the house keeping didn’t knock on the door to check if there were people inside the room, she just opened our door an hour before our check out time.

Spacious room with a lot storage space. Bath tub available for good bath. Location is near the city centre, within walking distance from both Brussels Central or Brussels MIDI stations.

I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel, especially considering the price and its 4-star rating. When we checked in, I politely asked if it was possible to have a room on a higher floor. The receptionist responded rudely, saying, “No, you came too late. You should have come earlier.” This was surprising because we arrived at around 3:30 PM, and check-in starts at 3:00 PM. After getting to our room, we noticed there was no hair dryer, even though one was listed as an in-room amenity. I called reception and was told that one would be sent up “in a moment.” We waited for over an hour, but nothing arrived. The most frustrating issue was that the room lights kept turning off every five minutes, and the curtains would automatically close every five minutes as well. This made it extremely difficult to get anything done. We called reception again to report the problem, but the staff member struggled to understand what we were explaining. After repeating the issue several times, he simply said he would send someone to the room and then hung up. Another hour passed, and no one came to help. To experience so many problems within just the first few hours of our stay was incredibly disappointing. For the price we paid and the standards expected of a 4-star hotel, the service and maintenance fell far below expectations. I hope the hotel improves both its customer service and its response to guest issues, as this was not the experience we were expecting.

The hotel itself was amazing. The location was in a great part of brussles just 5 minutes walk from noord train station. The facilities were great and the design of the hotel was on point. My only issue was that they required a 100 euro deposit per night which was 400 euros for me. This strange to me, usually hotels have a set amount for a deposit that doesn’t change with how many nights you stay.

The hotel is very beautiful, not the best experience however. The attitude of the front desk staff, especially the female manager, was not accommodating. I expected friendlier and more respectful attention from a hotel of this caliber. Both the morning and evening receptionists were quite intransigent. The room I booked was not what I requested, apparently due to availability issues. I had to ask them to push the twin beds together to make one, which took a while to accomplish. They only followed this request because my booking agency intervened and spoke to management; otherwise, it would have been impossible. The next day, I requested a late checkout but was told ”no.” The woman at the front desk argued that it was the busy weekend and tha my reasons were insufficient, claiming that since they had already fixed my room the day before (or that I could have just slept on the original setup), they wouldn't bend the rules. This dismissive narrative made my stay even more unpleasant! You urgently need to train your personnel to improve their customer service skills.

Lelaki kulit hitam itu membawa beg sekolahnya dan pergi, manakala lelaki putih terus mencuri. Saya mendaftar masuk pada hari Isnin, dan terdapat beberapa hotel dengan lebih daripada 500 yuan di lokasi yang lebih baik kemudian saya menempah awal, tetapi saya mengalami kerugian. Saya pada asalnya mahu Ctrip membatalkan, tetapi Ctrip enggan membenarkan saya membatalkan.

Booked the most basic room there was, as I was there for the F1 weekend, and will not be in the room except at night for resting. The location is nestled nicely between Brussels North Station and the shopping area/Grand Place, so most places that I wanted to go were walkable. I didn't interact with many service staff except when I checked in and out. Shower pressure was poor; it could have been better, considering the water pressure was quite strong. In terms of cleanliness, you could feel the grime on the carpet when walking barefoot. There was mould all over the pillars and walls of the room and toilet, and a musky smell coming from the cupboard. There is also no air-con in the room, when I say no air-con, I don't mean it is spoilt, there simply isn't one, so expect the room to be stuffy, especially on hotter months. I was lucky as the temperature at night was around 16C, so I used the portable heater as a ventilator fan.

I had a great stay at floris arlequin! I went with a friend, we selected two seperate beds and we got them. The location was amazing, everything was so close, it's immediately in a nice area with lots of restaurants and very close to the Grand place. Really worth it. The bathroom was realllyy nice, big, very clean, very tidy, very modern, nice shower (bit small shower curtain but not a problem) We went when it was really hot in Brussels (30°) and the airconditioning was broken sadly, but the big window opened and it was very doable. And the airconditioning will be fixed Everything was clean, except the floor that was carpeted, so that was a little gross but nothing absurd I just don't like carpeted flooring. For the room it might've been a littttlleee expensive but for the location it's cheap because it's a really good location.
