I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Elite World Grand Hotel, conveniently located on Basin Ekspres in Istanbul, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. I stayed at Marshal Garden hotel for a 2-day business trip. The overall experience was pretty positive, the room was clean and modern, ambient lighting was pretty nice, bathroom was functional and WiFi performance was very good. I also liked breakfast, the selection of products was pretty decent and taste/freshness were good, too! It's also worth noting that breakfast is served on the 6th floor, allowing for nice panoramic views. The hotel itself is located in a pretty busy area and most landmarks are a few minutes away by taxi. I did choose to walk from the Bucharest North train station to the hotel and it took me roughly 25 minutes. On the downside, I was expecting that partially used shampoo and shower gel would be replenished, but it did not happen. I also noticed that housekeeping left my half empty coffee mug. For a hotel of its category, I would expect housekeeping to do a more meticulous job, but still this did not take anything away from the positive experience. Reception staff was very polite and helpful.

This hotel is super nice and a very chic place to stay. Fun to have a drink in the lobby and to have breakfast inside the restaurant. The rooms are very spacious they have like three separate rooms and they have a beautiful balcony overlooking the property. Staff was flawless hotel was very upscale. The only problem I have with this hotel is that the pool is very very small and I like to luxury ate and of huge swimming pool when I am on vacation and the pool here very small maybe only suitable for children or for someone who doesn't like to swim laps. I never took a dip in the pool and I changed hotels because I wanted a spa / swimming pool hot tub amenity for my vacation. If you were not into pools then this is the perfect place to stay. I got this room for $100 a night and that is truly a steal.

I stayed for five nights while attending a conference in Bucharest. My room, and the hotel in general, was extremely comfortable and clean, and well-maintained. The location, a few steps off Calea Victoriei, could not be improved upon — central and close to just about everything. The photos accurately represent the room I had (except that fortunately my room didn't not have the tied-back curtain that frames the headboard in the photo here). My room overlooked a large courtyard covered with a glass roof . The downside was that I had to check the internet to learn whether it was raining or not, but the positive side was the fact that the room was extremely quiet. And sunlight does penetrate the courtyard and room. It was far from dark. And the curtains did a much better job of blacking out the room at night than I am used to in hotels. The only problems: a finicky shower in which the tiniest adjustments could take the water temperature from cold to dangerously hot, and whose handset sprayed in more directions than it should. On the other hand, the water pressure was, if anything, excessive -- unusual in hotels. Also, breakfast was not great. The coffee that comes out of their machine was not particular high in caffeine, and honestly some of the baked goods were stale. This could easily be improved. Variety was ok. But overall, I was very comfortable in the Capşa hotel, and would happily return. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout my stay as well.

To top it off the location is excellent-just short walk from the historic old city and a large beautiful park.
