The Queen’s court hotel is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay from check in until check out. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Adam who was a great host and offered to take our bags to the room which was so nice of him. The room was beautiful, the en-suite with a beautiful vanity mirror and extending mirror to get ready and a powerful shower. We received a lovely welcome note along with a complimentary gift in the room on arrival which was so thoughtful. We also were given robes and slippers in the room on arrival which was nice touch, especially to use for the spa. The thermal spa was absolutely lush. The beds were comfy and the room had great amenities and was very clean. Great selection in the mini bar, while we did not have any of the mini bar snacks they looked delicious. The hotel lobby was tastefully decorated and lovely for entrance as well as the courtyard and there was a lovely smell throughout the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and we felt like Queens throughout our stay and looked after, the staff were chatty and took their time to check in on how we were doing and made up feel very welcome. Particularly at the end of our stay when they asked us how we found our stay and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. There was a gentle music playing in the courtyard outside which created a desirable ambiance. The breakfast selection of Continental and cooked options was absolutely exquisite, such a great variety and was so fresh and delicious, the cooked options were so tasty too. Especially the selection of bread, fruit and sweet treats with amazing jam. Anna-Maria at breakfast was so kind and took the time to acknowledge us and was so friendly and had a lovely way about her. We had drinks from the bar in the evenings and they have amazing cocktails here. All of the little touches added up and made a big impact. Overall we felt very looked after and it was such a beautiful stay thank you to all the staff at the Queen’s court for making our stay so special, would highly recommend this hotel.

I was supposed to stay for three nights at the MP Hostel in Budapest; but left a couple of hours after I checked in. I arrived in the hostel before the check-in time; thus requested to leave my suitcase while awaiting check-in. Receptionist David just told me, ”You can put it in the storage room.” He did not even show me where the storage room is. I had to find the room myself. Mind you, David was not busy at that time. He was just chatting with a friend in the reception area. When I finally checked in the hostel late afternoon and went to my room, I noticed that the room was very cold. I opened the heater knob; and waited for more than an hour. No changes; it was still very cold. I then went to the reception; and informed receptionist David about this. He was in the reception, indeed, just talking to another hostel staff Daniel who is apparently the hostel F&B manager. He casually told me, ”Open the heater valve.” To which I replied, ”I did that more than an hour ago; but it's still very cold. Perhaps you can accompany me to the room; and we can both check the heater.” David answered, ”It's not my job. I'm the receptionist; not the technician... and the technician is not here. Wait for your room to get warm.” I said, ”It's been more than an hour since I opened the heater; but the room never got warm at all. If it's not your job to address the heater problem, then who can help me fix this? Can you at least transfer me to another room with a working heating system?” After David called up someone and checked the available rooms, he finally agreed to move me to another room. While I was at the reception waiting for my new room to be ready, I was talking to a friend on the phone to express my disappointment. When David said that my room was ready, I hung my phone up right away; and was surprised when he said, ”I”M A F*CKING RECEPTIONIST. THE HOSTEL MANAGEMENT PLACED ME HERE BECAUSE I SPEAK ENGLISH. CHECKING THE ROOM OR THE HEATER IS NOT MY JOB.” I replied, ” Where did the 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' words come from? To be clear, I never addressed you a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' ” I said these sentences at least twice, to reiterate my point. Without knowing the context of the conversation because he (Daniel) was playing a video game on his phone, F&B manager Daniel suddenly charged at me, kept on pointing his right index finger at me, and raised his voice, ”Don't you dare disrespect my friend and call him 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' OR ELSE...” I then said, ”I didn't even call David a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' Go ask him.” When David agreed that I did not call him that, I then went inside my new room which was still very cold. Heater in the new room was not working. Again. After all the negative experience at MP Hostel Budapest, I decided to leave right away; and found another private room in a hostel nearby. Zero customer service. Aggressive. Threatening. I hope the hostel will improve on its customer service, and value its guests.

I stayed here for three nights as part of an escorted tour. The room was clean and comfortable - the bed was very comfy. Good bathroom. Nice view over the street, which I like. Hotel is well situated and there are places to eat nearby if you don’t want to eat in the hotel. I was on my own but felt safe walking to a restaurant at night. The city is lively and vibrant.

La ubicación es buena, justo al lado de una parada de metro. Las instalaciones, justas; ni más ni menos para dormir un par de noches. El trato de recepción: el peor en el que he estado con diferencia. Llegué a las 13.56 y hasta las 14.01 no me atendieron ya que el checking era a las 14.00, pero lo peor no es esa indiferencia al cliente si no la antipatía a la hora de explicar las normas…es increíble aún habiéndolo leído anteriormente en las reseñas de otros usuarios. La habitación que me dieron daba al trabajo al pasillo de un patio interior y no tenía intimidad ninguna pues se veía el interior de la habitación desde fuera; fui a recepción por si podían cambiarme de habitación y directamente no me hicieron caso aludiendo que estaba todo completo….cosa que no era real ya que le pregunté al personal de limpieza me lo confirmaron.

I and my daughter enjoyed our stay. The room was big and the beds comfortable. We stayed in a premium room (I do not remember the official name). We used the honesty bar in the lobby and it was a nice touch. Personel was very warm and helpful. One of us works in hospitality so they can be very specific what makes food service and this service was very good.

Went for a couple of days on business. Hotel is solid. Not too fancy but clean and neat which is the most important thing to me. If you are an orthodox jew I highly recommend. They have a kosher dairy restaurant and even have shabbat keys for the doors. You are about a block away from about a dozen very decent kosher restaurant and a orthodox synagogue. All in all I was pleasantly surprised and will likely stay here again when I return to Budapest

The hotel was surprising as front the outside and surrounding areas you wouldn’t believe what’s inside. The staff were so helpful throughout the entire stay and provided many amenities. The indoor pool was beautiful and everything was so well kept. Our room was spacious and consisted of everything we needed. Definitely recommend.
