The hotel is relatively central and located in a residential area. The building and the area breathes the early 80s and indeed, also the room was having those characteristics. The reception is not hyper modern, but welcoming. The staff very kind and available. We went to our room and the room was relatively spacious, with two simple beds, a nighttable, a desk, tv, a kitchenett hidden in a wardrobe. There was also a quite large balcony, with a decent view over the area (but disturbed by the cars noise). When entering the room, one entered a small hall with a decently spacious wardrobe, and in fron, the bathroom with a shower. The bathroom had plenty of towels and all needed for a shower, not much space to put things on. It was having a very strong touch from the beginning of the 80s if we talk of style. Everything was quite clean, but it is clear that everything is a bit outdated. The furniture was a bit torn. The first night there was not exactly calm. Without closing the door to the entry, one could hear plenty of movements in the corridor. The A/C was very noisy and the fridge from the kitchen was not quiet either. The second night I turned off the A/C, closed the door, and moved slightly the fridge so it stop muttering. The breakfast was very italian - but also very cosy in a sense. One could order all sort of morning beverage from the bar. The cappuccino was outstanding and the staff incredibly kind. The food was mostly prepacked items, except for some fresh pastries. There was also gluten-free items, a decent choice of them. Three different juices were available (but they felt quite artificial), it was possible to get toast, some ham and cheese, if one wanted and fruit. Considering location/parking/atmosphere, I think the hotel was a little bit expensive. Considering the ”cosyness” one was getting after a while, it was probably well deserved. The hotel had also tennis fields and an indoor pool (and a gym, I think). But we didn't try any of these. The tennis court seemed quite popular.

Ok so this might take some time but I think everyone should know what follows before even thinking on book at this hotel. THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!!! It's a scam!!! I did book here for 13 nights and I literally had to go away after two nights as the rooms are ridiculously old, full of issues, and incredibly uncomfortable!!! After the first night, I woke up with extreme back pain due to the extremely poor quality of the mattress!! Seriously the worst ever slept on in 20 years of travelling!!!! The staff at the reception though, very kindly did agree to change my room. Unfortunately, the new one was even worse and with more issues!!!! I could not sleep at all due to a very loud machanic / electric noise coming from the bathroom's ceiling that goes off every 2 minutes sharp!! Literary every 2 minute period you had to listen at this strong noise which made impossible for me to sleep. So at 2am I had to go to the reception to ask to fix the issue which unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed as that is the way it is in that hotel!!! Apparently for them it's normal!! In addition the super loud music from the restaurant downstairs it is on up to almost 1am!!! What a fraud!! Furthermore, even in this room qthe mattress was so old and flat that you couldn't sleep on it!! (see pictures attached) The bathroom of both rooms (so I suspect all of them) have no windows nor a fan!!!! Seriously????? In a 4 star hotel bathrooms without ventilation????? What a joke!!!!! I've been travelling for 20 years this year, and I have honestly not seen anything so badly maintained in my travel life!!! Probably the owners is friend to someone at the council, and paid them to get the 4 stars, tipical Italian situation. This is a real scam. This hotel does not deserve more than 2 stars. No gym, no pool, horrible mattress, no ventilation in the bathrooms nor a windows, noise!!! What on earth. I had to cancel the rest of my staying (10 more nights) and book somewhere else which did cost me 30% more. The only positive thing that can be saved from this experience is the staff. From the very kind ladies that clean the rooms, to the staff at the reception (both the day and night staff) and the people at the restaurant, they are all very good, professional and people with good heart. What a waste, I hope for them that they can find a better job in a better place as they deserve. Very disappointed of booking to sell this horrible place as a 4 star hotel. Unbelievable. Ridiculous.

It is a such an oasis in a busy city. Full sea view with a lot of greenery. The hotel is beautifully decorated. It is a very quiet area for solitary. But more importantly it is a venue to train our young people to engage in an industry with fast development especially after covid time. Trainees are skillfully trained with the thoughtfulness of all the instructors.

Soggiorno di una giornata durante un tour in moto. La struttura è molto ben curata con camera dotata di tutti i confort. È presente un posteggio per le moto davanti all’hotel. Ottimo con un servizio di primo ordine il ristorante annesso. Abbiamo gustato un ottimo pesce molto ben presentato. L’albergo è abbastanza lontano dal centro, ma dopo una giornata in sella è salutare camminare, quindi non ha causato disagi. Molto gentile il personale. Il tutto per un buon prezzo. Sicuramente da ritornarci.

The rooms were clean and spacious enough for two people. We really liked the location as it was central and close to everything, including the bus station. The bathroom was well equipped and even had a bidet. The staff was very helpful and they always tried their best to answer any questions we had. They even helped find contact numbers for parks we wanted to visit, and explained where to go. Breakfast was quite nice and had a nice selection of different foods and desserts every morning. The room seemed to always be warm, sometimes a little too warm. The only way to cool it down was through a window, though cooking smells from the restaurant next door would waft in. We would have liked it better if we had control over the air-conditioning in the room. We would have liked to have a kettle in the room for tea, but it wasn't a big issue since the hotel is surrounded by great cafés. We also ate dinner at the hotel, and though the food was delicious, it was a little pricey compared to the many restaurants in the vicinity. You might want to explore the area for more selection and possibly better prices for food. Overall, we had a lovely time and we look forward to visiting again. It was great value for our money, and it's a good place to stay if you want quick access to most of the interesting sites in the area.

Ho soggiornato al Flora per la seconda volta, la prima lo scorso dicembre (quella volta era un viaggio di coppia con mio marito e abbiamo soggiornato nella suite con la scala a chiocciola, scomodo il bagno giù, per il resto davvero bella, con pezzi d'arredo di antiquariato). Abbiamo soggiornato in due camere matrimoniali, accoglienti e pulitissime, il punto forte è il bagno, molto comodo. I servizi sono vari, la colazione non era molto varia, pur avendo sia salato che dolce, ma i prodotti da forno e la parte salata erano ottimi(le uova erano buonissime!). Il ristorante è molto buono, abbiamo mangiato un menù di pesce e ritornerei anche solo per il ristorante. Il personale di tutti i reparti davvero professionale, gentile e accogliente. Una nota a parte meritano le splendide collezioni presenti: antiquariato e modernariato, in particolare giocattoli, vasi, statue e lampade, quadri, ma anche oggetti vari come un'aquasantiera, un vecchio registratore di cassa e altro ancora, veramente bella e ben tenuta, ogni volta noto qualcosa di diverso. Ci tornerò sicuramente

Service was phenomenal, the staff there were very friendly and caring, any problem or request and my needs were met. The hotel is very clean, the area is quiet with no disturbances during our stay. Room was equipped with AC which was very nice after coming in from the heat. The room was clean, with the beds being very comfy. The only negative to this place is that it’s in the middle of no where, in order to get there from the airport it’s either a 2 hour walk (have to walk around the motorways) or have to get a €20 taxi. In addition to this, it’s another 30 minutes roughly bus ride to the centre, and a good 20 minute walk to the closest shops. The hotel itself was excellent however the location is a really big negative to staying there. If you don’t have a car it’s not worth staying unless you can sort out travel.
