An absolutely excellent place stay, would recommend, even just based on the staff and the breakfast. I observed that great care was taken of people checking in to stay who would be going to the hospitals local to the area. Check-in was so easy, and the reception staff was very kind. Things I loved: * the included healthy breakfast, * free on-site parking *Ferrari in the reception area (no idea why it's there, and I'm no car enthusiast, but it is a classy touch) * very friendly and kind staff * neat and good layout of room * comfortable bed * good air conditioning * friendly people throughout the building * walking distance to Chermside shopping centre * excellent price Thing I didn't like as much: * not really sound-proofed, you sometimes hear sounds from other rooms and hallways * the balcony area did have a bit of a smell in the early evening, dissuading me from eating outside until later on - this might have just been the day I stayed. It was nice enough later to leave the door open and have a bit of a breeze while sleeping. Highly recommended.

Great apartment hotel. Enjoy the balkcony, proximity to services, restaurants and parks in this suburb of Brisbane. Didn’t go to the city( easily reached by multiple buses) because tired from an intense trio to Alice Springs.

Stayed here twice. First time was really good, the second time the room had still some rubbish. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. Location is great, close to mega mall and public transport. Breakfast was simple - no cheese or yogurt - but ok. The only negative thing is the WiFi. It is slow and hangs sometimes. It also has a minimal quota.

My wife and I stayed for three nights We checked in after 7 pm so missed the reception deadline Got our key through the night safe box On going to the room via the lift we didn’t realise that we had to carry two very large cases up to a mezzanine floor level with twenty steps Entering the unclean room ( the bed was made and clean) there was only the ceiling light working in the bedroom ( the lamp had no bulb) on the bedside table The other “ bedside “ table was a wooden stool. The bathroom was “ decent “ but again only with a working ceiling light. The over sink mirror light wasn’t working either. The next day we opened the patio door to see total dirt and dust on the patio floor, which obviously hadn’t been cleaned in weeks ( my wife renamed the establishment GERMSIDE) . We went to the reception to report all issues, which were noted but to our dismay we returned to our room 10 hours later and absolutely nothing was done as per our requests The breakfast was extremely basic ( but we were aware of that) served by two pleasant elderly people who boiled the kettle and poured the water into our cups The outside breakfast patio area again was unclean but we accepted as we were only there 10 minutes The Wi-Fi was very poor although it it work occasionally The Wi-Fi code was “ Endive 1” Can I suggest that it is changed to 1 Dive as this is exactly what it is Now I know why they want full payment up front for this low level, low hygiene apart hotel Disappointed holiday maker

Rooms and pool look really nice but it is nothing like it, need to do a lot of updating, it’s a shame as it’s in a great location for what we needed it for.

The elderly gentleman who prepared the breakfast was very friendly and kind, and made us feel right at home! However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The cutlery and mugs were not washed properly, the shower head filter was really dirty and obviously hadn’t been changed in a long time.  We also found mold on the large shower head. The room was smelly and the balcony was dirty.

Check in was easy. Location is good - located near major shopping centre and public transport. Room was clean, however tea, coffee and milk supplies needed to be replenished daily.

The desk was very helpful, a convenient location in Chermside, walking distance to Chermside Westfields.

Place smelt of mould on entry. Tiles sticky and dust on top of picture frames TV's and a/c absolutely filthy. Found suspected mould spots on pillows. Place is pretty disgusting as per all the reviews.

The room had an immediate unpleasant odour on opening the door.  The shower wall had long black hairs stuck to the tiles and remnants of old soap/shampoo. There was the remains of something that had previously broken off in the shower cubicle. The bathroom basin was mouldy around the plug hole. The blanket from the cupboard had an unpleasant smell. As I exited the lift on the first floor the lighting was non existent. I felt vulnerable. There is not enough onsite parking spaces for guests.

Not a bad little joint if your away for a few days. Very affordable

Great location and price (for area) place needs either some serious maintenance or upgrading or both. Fire alarm and evacuation triggered by a smoker at 8am was far from appreciated.

Very convenient location close to food and major shopping centre. Staff were very friendly.

Check-in was much more difficult than my last stay, which was disappointing. There was no internet available during the visit, so the TV didn’t work at all. Also, the shower clearly needed maintenance. Overall, not the smooth experience I’d had previously. No early exit key drop box which did lead to being late to conference.
