Snugged in a corner of a residential area is this gorgeous hotel that matches its name - White. Two 4 storey buildings and an open pool area make up this comfortable hotel with big huge rooms! Don't expect too much variety for your breakfast but it is sufficient! The location of the hotel is relatively near to (within 10 mins walk): 1) Chiang Mai Gate Market, 2) Anusarn Market, 3) Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, and 4) Wau Lai Walking Street by the river of Mae Kha Canal. You'll have to take time and walk around this area. If you stay around here for more than 3 days, you will find that this area has many little shops and restaurants littered all around that serves fabulous food at very affordable prices! Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel for about 16 days. It's a big hotel close to Maya mall and upon our request to a higher floor room with great views were granted by the cute and efficient front office staff which made us to stay longer in this gorgeous town. Staff is really nice, efficient, the best here. Our room was in the 10th floor directly across the mountain view and Maya mall. Loved the view. Private balcony with sweeping views. Our room was really spacious, comfy bed and pillows with lovely comforter, big bathroom with ample hot water, shower and jacuzzi, toiletries are provided except for toothbrush, bathrobes and slippers provided. There's a security deposit box. Decent tv with cable channels. Free Wifi but the speed can be improved. There's a sofa bed which is really comfy too. There's a desk and a chair to work as well. Perfect space for people who work. Hotel seem to have two swimming pools but rooftop pool and bar is closed for renovations. There's a gym with decent equipments. Pool towels are provided. Sauna is adjacent to the gym. There's a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Free water bottles, tea and coffee provided. Daily housekeeping and absolutely the best housekeeping staff. Had enough and more privacy while enjoying our stay. We highly recommend this perfect hotel to everyone who visits Chiang Mai.

We experienced great customer service here in Melia. The room is quite comfortable and good for work travel. The hotel is located near to restaurants, groceries and night market. Although it may be noisy outside, we can still sleep soundly at night - good sound proof. My wife was not feeling well and the hotel staff is kind enough to let us check in earlier, so she can rest. A little gesture like this is greatly appreciated by us. Thank you, Melia

The Hotel is new and in a quiet location S.E. of the old City, although still within reasonable walking distance to the East Gate. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, with many fine attentive touches. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. One snag is that there is no cafe or restaurant after breakfast time, except the ones in the old Empress next door.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. Only downside was the location, it was near the back side of Anusarn Market around a 5 mins walk away. However at night that street is a bit quiet and dark so a little unsettling.

Located about 40 metres from the main road in a quiet soi, about 400 metres from the Tha Pae gate, with plenty of bars and restaurants. Pleasant and professional staff, a small boutique character hotel with all rooms overlooking the pool and open pavilion. I had rooms 102 and 205, both smallish rooms suitable for one or two people, there are larger rooms available, the bathrooms were a bit dark, better bulbs would fix it. The pavilion is open on three sides with comfortable seating, the pool has a shallower area suitable for small children and a deeper, larger area. I will stay here again

Good hotel to stay. Near to night bazaar. Room was clean. Staffs were super nice: front, bell boy, staff at parking lot, staff at restaurant. Hotel looks not that new, decorated in Thai style with carpet on the floor. There are many rooms but limited parking lots. Bathing zone is big and make toilet and the rest are small. Limit space to place personal amenities. Breakfast is not much various, the taste was ok.

Kemudahan di sekelilingnya agak jauh berbanding hotel lain di Thailand, dan ia mengambil masa 15 minit untuk berjalan kaki ke 711 yang terdekat. Ia mengambil masa lapan atau sembilan minit untuk menaiki teksi dari hotel ke jalan raya. Kerana kami memandu sendiri, kami tidak merasakan pengangkutan itu tidak begitu mudah. Malam daftar masuk. Terjumpa seekor lipas gergasi terbang. Takut sangat kekasih aku. Hotel ini menaik taraf saya kepada suite superior secara percuma. Walaupun beberapa penambahbaikan telah dilakukan, persekitaran kebersihan masih membimbangkan.
