The hotel's location was a true gem, conveniently close to everything Chiang Mai has to offer. Just a quick 10-minute drive from the airport, we didn't waste any time getting to our luxurious haven. Moreover, we were delighted to find ourselves just 5 minutes away from the bustling walking markets, immersing ourselves in the vibrant local culture and flavors.
As we took leisurely strolls around the area, we were delighted to find that the enchanting old town was merely a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Exploring the historical sites and charming streets became a daily ritual, and we cherished every moment of it.
One aspect that stood out for us was the hotel's tranquil setting on a quiet road, surrounded by locals. The sense of safety and peace added to the overall serenity of the place, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploration.
Our stay at Le Ville Lanna Boutique Hotel has truly been one of the best experiences we've had in Chiang Mai. For the price paid, I was expecting a 5 star kind of facilities, but a bit disappointed. The photo of the hotel looks good, but it is actually sitting in a small plot of land. So there is no facilities exactly, with a small pathetic swimming pool. The rest of the land is stuck between 2 walls by residential neighbors.
The room itself is normal. The only take away is the breakfast - western ala carte no buffet, is really nice. But unfortunately we missed most of them since can't wake up early.

We got the family room, which was absolutely nothing like the beautiful, modern rooms in the main hotel, which the couple we were traveling with had and enjoyed. It was quite the opposite. Our room was in a connected building with a dark, shabby, un-attended entry. Simple railroad-style rooms were separated by curtains only, so parents have to walk through kids’ room to access the bathroom. The bathroom is oddly large and institutional, all tan and tile with stalls for multiple toilets and showers, reminiscent of a dorm. At night, bright lights shine through the windows all along one side of the room, even around the curtains — glass was frosted and windows unopenable. The room’s lounge area was not remotely comfortable for hanging out in. We still had access to the pool in the main hotel, but it is very, very small. And the cafe serving the little tables near it was never open (bring-your-own situation was fine, however). Good location and staff was kind. But for the price we paid and what the website showed/misrepresented, we expected much nicer.

INCREDIBLE..... We stayed for a number of weeks just next door.. Pea is super passionate about the best experience.. she is an awesome cook... and everything she does puts 100% effort. They gave a real talent for design and architecture in the boutique hotel and the cafe... they are currently working hard to get a bakery next door renovated.. We have got to know Pea, her husband and Jeff thier son and they are really special people who take pride in what they do If your either staying at the hotel or wanting to eat thier you will get a great meal with amazing people....

Perfect for families with great villas. All branded new with top modern equipments, with beautiful private swimming pool and lovely breakfast. We were a family of 5 and can’t recommend more Rarin Villas for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Also, Rarin Villas is owning and managing the best SPA in town, strongly recommend to try it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at ISTY. It's set in a neighborhood that felt safe to walk around in (though beware that there are no sidewalks in most of Chiang Mai so you have to be careful), and we really enjoyed nearby food stalls each evening as well as a full night market by the north gate. (By the way, there's vegetarian food at the far east side. And there are a couple of vegetarian eateries within walking distance, though I think only during lunch.) The rooms are basic (think shelves but not dressers) but clean and comfortable; beds are Thai style so firm. The co-working/meal area is fabulous, as is the rooftop bar; we spent a lot of time in the outdoor co-working/pool area but either wore long clothes or sprayed against mosquitoes (there were just a few, and an herbal rather than Deet spray was sufficient). The pool is gorgeous but shaded and on the cold side so we mainly looked at it haha. It was getting smoky as February went on (thank goodness for a couple fluke rainstorms that cleared the air for a few days), and there didn't seem to be much air filtration so our eyes were stinging even in our room--but I think that's true elsewhere throughout the region too.

Just the breakfast could have a bit more options because the price is big compared to the room without breakfast… I was gonna ask to cancel the breakfast but since all the staffs are very polite then I forgot about it.

PPengguna TetamuI was pleasantly surprised and had an exceptional experience at De Chai Oriental. I had almost booked an Airbnb and only moved last minute to a Hotel to avail of daily housekeeping and the morning breakfast. While I was weary at first, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the room, the furnishing, the housekeeping, the quaint little breakfast and most importantly the staff. Big shoutout to Khun Jam and Khun Bow at the brekafast counter every morning. They are pleasant, hospitable and extremely kind even if it’s past the brekafast hour. Also, a big thank you to Khun Nack and Khun Wahn who helped me through tours and bookings of the elephant sanctuary, guidance with taxis for Doi Suthep and assistance with late checkout due to flight delay. Apologies to anyone whose name I may have forgotten from the front desk or brekafast room! This Hotel is close to every single coffee shop, famous eatery and bars. There are ample 7/11s, rooftop bars, McDonald’s and massage parlours around. The famous Why Not Italian restaurant is bang opposite to the Hotel door. I would recommend this place at a heartbeat and hopefully return for a stay during my next visit to Chiang Mai. Best

Location: convenient location near the airport (15 mins away), near a shopping mall, lots of food / cafes / bars / restaurants and shops nearby at the nimman area within very short walking distance
Rooms: large, spacious, free beverage per person per night, welcome rice crackers
Negatives
1. Didn’t like the dark corridors in the hotel
2. Deluxe room was VERY dim
3. Bed was too soft and flat. Bedsheets and pillows weren’t great
4. Cleanliness was an issue. The floor and carpet didn’t feel clean but the hotel provided slippers. The worst part was the shower area 😩😩🤮🤮 mould on the floor and walls, overall grimy and slimy esp at the corners. The rest of the negatives can be overlooked but not the shower area. I literally cringed and shuddered every time I had to shower. I don’t understand how it can be so dirty?! 😩
5. The light switches were a nightmare. There were many switches at the door area and bedside (like 3 switches per side) but no instructions and they didn’t follow a pattern so you would always need to try switching on and off etc all the time just to get the room totally dark but with the bedside lamp on
6. Sounds from outside the door, next room, upstairs could be heard and it was very disturbing as the noise sounded like it was next to me all the time. There were endless footstep noises from upstairs during the night and all these noises woke me up throughout my stay. I usually sleep through the night in hotels
7. My first room, the shower area had ZERO lights and I had to bathe in literal darkness. Thankfully the front desk were very quick and efficient and got me another room to move to which was thankfully very bright with working shower lights.
8. Hotel breakfast was full of carbs and the food didn’t taste fresh or great at all :( I had spent the last 3 days at another hotel in Chiang Mai so the differences in room and bfast were really stark.
Overall, for a clean freak, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. But if you can overlook the cleanliness; the location, friendliness of staff, etc are positives you can focus on. Pics attached are of two different rooms.

服務：正常獨立式服務（沒有非常跪舔的那種）但是當你找到他們有事情的事情也會全新幫助解決，得知我需要蚊香每天燃盡之後不需提醒都會主動添加
入住前看到上面剛剛被差評吐槽空調和服務，也很擔心空調不夠製冷，畢竟中午太熱，但是入住之後發現空調賊好，還有風扇，女生怕涼的開風扇也很夠用，一早一晚不用空調都很涼爽～
再重點誇讚洗護用品 ，我個人認為比愛馬仕和其他一些大牌洗護都好用，我準備買他們家的洗護用品回家用，洗後頭發和皮膚都非常柔軟。缺點：牙刷不太好用 太硬太大。
男朋友去健身房跑步了 我沒進去看 應該還不錯
泳池非常贊，旁邊貼心放着防曬霜和冰水，且重點來了 泳池周圍好像開了空調，還遮陽，和其他酒店露天泳池不一樣，中午去游泳照樣很舒胡～
最後讚美我大愛的早餐，我是素食者，且喜歡食生，和綠汁，這個酒店完美的超出我的期待，早餐綠汁、橄欖油浸蔬菜、水蒸蔬菜、沙拉等應有盡有，並且麪包賊好吃、小小酸奶杯也賊好吃，正常泰餐每一天不同樣的變給你做，超地道的好吃，因為用的食材和調料好，所以比外面泰餐廳要好吃很多，另外餐廳提供午餐晚餐裏有泰餐和西餐可以單點，也非常好吃。
旁邊就是白天可以逛瓦洛洛市場，晚上出來河邊走走吹風看日落，河邊還有谷歌評分很高的saiping餐吧，歌手唱歌很好聽，泰餐也正宗，但是沒酒店的好吃，附近還有幾個很棒的設計師店可以逛，晚上酒吧一條街，白天也有yoga館～
比起曼寧路，鴿子牆那邊的酒店，我最愛這裏，完全可以跟因疫情倒閉的另一個很納蘭風格的酒店dhard dhevi放在一個級別了。性價比來説就划算多了
還沒住過古蹟酒店，都不太想去嘗試了 以後來清邁肯定選這個

PPengguna Tetamui just have a solo trip in chiangmai and i choose the core hotel is ”a home” to stay for 2 day.The hotel have an atractive decorating,the rooom is tidy,clean and spacious.Beside that,the hotel have a lovely swimming pool for you near the bar so you can relax a lot .The location is near the zoo in chiang mai ,wat doi su thep and maya shopping mall.Defitenaly come back this hotel in the future!!!

SSimonExcellent location all cafe and nice restaurants are walking distance. Free parking and bags storage provided for us for our 2nd visit. Hotel is doing some renovation but it did not effect us. Reception speak good English and warm welcome from them. Value for money and will visit again. Should provide some attention and concierge information at the lobby for visitors.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed at this hotel for six nights. It’s in a good location within the old city. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We did not hear any street noise at night. Our package included breakfast which was a good option. Breakfast included a choice of hot dishes, cereals, yogurt, fruit, toast, croissants, juice, coffee and tea. The pool was refreshingly cool and there is a small cafe/bar next to the pool. The staff were somewhat friendly although there was one front desk fellow who seemed a little aloof. I think perhaps their spoken English isn’t very strong which might be the reason for this. The woman in the lobby who did the tour bookings was very friendly and helpful. There is a security guard outside. Overall, a good little hotel and gave it four stars. (I only give 5 stars if there is something really outstanding such as exceptional service above and beyond.) We would stay here again if the opportunity arose.

La ubicación es buena ya que está dentro de la muralla y muy cerca de una de las calles principales donde podrás encontrar alquileres de motos, cafés, lavanderías etc
La habitación es espaciosa y el baño también, estaba limpia y nos pusieron botellas de agua cada día en el mini bar.
Hay una piscina al entrar al hotel y está bien ya que es suficiente para refrescarte de las altas temperaturas.
El personal es amable y te recomiendan cosas que hacer en tu estancia en la ciudad.
Quizás es preferible una habitación que se encuentre en el piso alto ya que la nuestra estaba en el bajo y se oían ruidos.
Tienen desayuno disponible a parte de la tarifa .
Nos dejaron dejar las maletas después del check out.

LLjordanB2 Suthep was a pleasant stay for 3 days. Accessible pool, large room, and decent storage. Limited on the amenities sides of things. No restaurant or cafe open. Some tlc in some places would give this the boost it needs. Altogether, it was nice and a healthy price.
