Large room. Clean and tidy room, washroom. Sheets.were clean and bed comfortable. Adequate furniture.

The hotel is very clean and located in Chiang Rai city, near to some famous place of interest within 5km radius, 160m walking distance to a famous Thai food restaurant, good breakfast with safe car park in front of the hotel entrance, very helpful front desk staff, they will recommend the direction and place you like to visit with a map.

Stayed at this lovely hotel my first time in Chiang Rai. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and have all the necessary amenities. The breakfast buffet was incredible, lots of great Thai and Western options. The staff was very polite and kind. Wifi was fast and reliable, I would stay here again.

Hotel so so. Not very clean in the room.

房間很大很乾凈，泳池比較小，下去遊了十分鐘就沒再去過，早餐種類蠻多也好吃，酒店中規中矩，還提供租摩託車服務。

โรงแรมคือดีมาก ห้องกว้าง สะอาด ที่จอดรถเยอะ พนักงานดี อาจจะอยู่ไกล จาก ใจกลางเมือง แต่ถ้ามีรถ แนะนำ พักที่นี่ คะ ราคาดี อาหารเช้า อร่ยมากกกก

De Hug Hotel & Residence a Chiang Rai è un ottimo hotel tra comfort e convenienza. Le camere pulite e spaziose con servizi moderni e balconi privati la dotazione della camera e adeguata con frigobar, bollitore, phon etc…. L'hotel dispone di una reception aperta 24 ore su 24, Wi-Fi gratuito e parcheggio comodo. Una piscina con servizio bar. La colazione è abbondante a buffet. La posizione è vicina a attrazioni come l'Oub Kham Museum e il Chiang Rai Night Bazaar, rendendolo una base comoda per esplorare la città. Infine particolarmente cordiale e disponibile il personale, consigliatissimo

ปกติเเล้วผมไม่ค่อยชอบรีวิวคับ เเต่เดอะฮักนี่ชอบจริง คือพนักงานเป็นกันเองมากเลย เเล้วห้องก็โครตจกว่างงง ทำอะไรก็สดวกมาก ห้องน้ำก็สอาดคับ ส่วนตัวเเล้วชอบมากคับไม่ผิดหวังเลย พนักงานคุยง่ายคับอยากได้อะไรต้องการอะไรก็เเค่โทรไป ชอบในความที่เทรนพนักงานด้วยคับ คือไม่ด้ตั้งใจมองเห็นนะคับ เเต่ตอนลงมาเห็นว่ามีการเรียกพนักงานทุกคนมารวมกันเหมือนคุยกัน ผมก็ไม่เเน่ใจ เเต่เเค่ส่วนของตรงนี้ผมก็รู้สึกภูมิใจเเนะคับ เเต่ส่วนตัวขอตินิดนึงนะคับ ก็คือด้านตัวของโรงอาหารเช้าคับ มีทุกอย่างครบคนไทยกินได้ฝรั่งก็กินสบายชอบคับตัวเลือกเยอะ เเต่ผมว่าส่วนของพนักงานเยอะไปอะคับ เพราะส่วนใหญ่คนที่เข้าพักต้องการความเป็นส่วนตัวเป็นอย่างมาก ก็ประมาณนี้คับ

A nice hotel with excellent service and very polite staff. The room was spacious and clean. The location was a bit off the beaten track which could be a positive or negative for you, depending if you want to be close to the “action”. The pool looked lovely and clean but was not heated enough to swim in, despite 29 degree weather. Balcony was very small with barely space to open the door with the big air conditioner on it. The breakfast was average but again, the hotel staff are lovely.

It looks pretty from the outside, and the staff is so lovely. But the rooms are run down, the floors have very little ventilation, and you can't open the curtains of your rooms because the people on the other side of the yard can see right through hence the room is dark. The sheets are very thin and old. They need to be replaced, like the pillows. They smelled musty and overused. Breakfast is okay, but they leave three tea bags inside the teapot, making the teas so dark and strong it is undrinkable. Also, very few options for vegetarians, as everything has meat in it. The worst is the wifi, though. So frustrating! They say it works in the room, although they must know it does not from all the reviews on here. They kindly tried to fix it over and over; they came to the room more than once, taking up so much time! and still, it did not work. I wish they would just say, "wifi only works only at reception." The location is OK, although you need a grab to go to the center.
