Langxi Resort Hotel (Chongqing Monument to the people's Liberation Hongyadong Store)

5 stars - A Wonderful Stay at Langxi Resort Hotel! We had an amazing stay at Langxi Resort Hotel (Chongqing Monument to the people's Liberation Hongyadong Store). The service was exceptional, and the staff (especially 小张) were incredibly polite and helpful. One of the highlights was having access to a washing machine and dryer, which was super convenient for travelers. Although our room didn’t have a window, it surprised us with a beautiful small garden inside, making the atmosphere very calming and aesthetic. It truly felt like a happy and peaceful place to stay. I will definitely come back here again in the future! 五星好评 - 朗玺度假酒店的美好入住体验！ 我们在朗玺度假酒店（重庆解放碑洪崖洞店）的住宿非常愉快。服务非常出色，工作人员（小张）礼貌周到。酒店还提供洗衣机和烘干机，非常方便旅客使用。虽然我们的房间没有窗户，但里面有一个漂亮的小花园，营造了非常宁静、舒适的氛围。这里真的让人感到开心和放松。我一定会再次光顾这家酒店！

Really cool hotel that was in a great location. The staff provided excellent service including helping us with the free laundry onsite and switching rooms for us.

Upon entering my room, I was immediately overwhelmed by the smoky tobacco smell. It was very strong and even after leaving the aircon running for 15 minutes, the smell hadn’t lessened at all and it was affecting my travel partner, who is an asthmatic. The tobacco smell is also made worse by a lack of a window as any smells can’t be aired out. However, the receptionists were extremely helpful and polite. They immediately moved me into a new room and allowed me to examine for any smell before moving in. Rooms are spacious, although keep in mind that they do vary. My ‘queen room’ differed from my travel partner who booked the same type of room. They had a desk and I did not. This did not affect me as I did not need one, but thought I’d mention it for those hoping for a workspace. Rooms also quickly become humid, but the aircon works very well. Wifi is an open unsecure network that anyone can join. Connection is also quite poor. You’ll need to rely on your mobile data. Rooms are very clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel breakfast was a continental breakfast with some staple Chinese foods like congee. It was fulfilling. Overall, very happy with the quality of service, cleanliness and polite staff. Just keep in mind that even though this is advertised as a non-smoking hotel, it is unavoidable that your room may have been smoked in before and the smell lingers.

Overall, it’s a pretty good hotel, and the service provided by the reception is excellent. There are two downsides, as mentioned by others: first, the elevator can take longer during peak times, as the hotel shares a building with commercial spaces. Second, the breakfast is not particularly noteworthy and can be skipped.
