The hotel services were amazing and the staff were superb. Everisto went out of his way to assist us with suggestions on what to do and arranging it for us. We would highly recommend this place. The location was excellent and the food was also.

Serviço terrível. Fizemos a reserva para um grupo de 24 pessoas, e eles cancelaram nossos quartos porque meu cartão não funciona, segundo eles. Entrei em contato com eles para confirmar minha reserva e efetuar o pagamento no hotel na chegada. Primeiro me dizem que não há espaço na suíte porque eu já tinha a reserva, e ainda por cima cancelam minha reserva sem motivo. Que péssimo serviço e atenção, eles não deveriam colocar à venda quartos que não os tenham. NÃO RECOMENDO, PÉSSIMA ATENÇÃO E PÉSSIMO ESTABELECIMENTO

Casa fusion boutique hotel really felt like a home away from home in the bustling city of La Paz. Situated next to the cable car station in Sopocachi, it was very easy to go around by cable car and reach all the interesting points in town in a flight or two. The owners are the kindest people, who helped us get our bearings and recommending some great museums, restaurants and local markets to explore. The breakfast is lovely with really good Bolivian coffee and home made bread and croissants from the bakery that they run next door. The hotel is like a large house with its hardwood floors and beautiful art on the wall, coca tea to help yourself and cosy spots to hang out. The staff is helpful and kind, housekeeping excellent and we loved strolling the neighborhood which feels very safe. Definitely would return next time in La Paz!

GgatoreedStayed three nights at the hotel when we arrived in La Paz and the one night on our way out of the country. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. There is a enclosed pool and roof top bar with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. A good breakfast buffet with the option of ordering omelets. There is a very nice restaurant (dinner only) where we enjoyed a multi-course tasting meal prepared by three Chefs - it was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful, changing money, calling taxis and making recommendations. You are in an upscale neighborhood with lots of shops, restaurants and markets within easy walking distance.

From the time we arrived, to the time we left, we all felt very welcome and comfortable at this fine hotel. We came back three times, between our travels to Tupiza and Coroico, and were allowed to leave our leftover luggage in their storage. The rooms are great. We had a two bedroom apartment for 4 people. With a lounge area and a small kitchenette. The bathroom is modern and functional. Nice hot showers any time of the day. Cleaning was spotless. Matresses and pillows were the most comfortable on our entire journey around Bolivia. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. The gym was also great - in the nearby mall. Perhaps the only thing missing, is a roof terrace or a small garden, where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun. The most important thing, were the people in the reception, restaurant and office. They were all very serviceminded and helpful in any way we required. So all in all a 5-star experience and definitely recommendable. We would come back any time.

CChai29Spent 2 nights here travelling from Peru to La Paz. The location is perfect for Peru/Bolivia Hop travellers as it’s their pick up point. It’s next to Witches Market and 10 minutes walk to San Francisco Church. The room is quite spacious and the bathroom is relatively new. Breakfast included was just ok. Would be good if there was a toaster for the bread. At the guests lobby area, there’s free coca tea and kettle self service which was nice if you have altitude sickness in the highest city in the world. We had a city view which was beautiful at night. Our room 510 was quiet so we had a good rest travelling from Peru.

Good size room with 2 lounge chairs, desk and chair, mini fridge, in room safe and plenty of wardrobe space. Wifi worked ok but the TV only had Spanish channels. The bathroom had decent amenities. Bottled water was provided daily. Breakfast selection was pretty good with eggs cooked to order. The hotel was pretty quiet and there didn’t seem to be a lot of staff on duty but everything was catered for. There’s also a pool, sauna and spa area which we didn’t use. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

PPengguna TetamuReally very helpful staff who communicated well in English. The location is great and the rooms are beyond expectations given the modest price charged by the hotel. The breakfast was adequate rather than expansive. This suited me because I went on tours and hardly had time to have a huge breakfast.
Definitely a hotel that serves your needs as a traveler without a hefty price tag. The central location was convenient and allowed your groups to pick up for excursions

On the first night I was in a 4 bed dorm and I was woken up at 4 am by the receptionist and a security guard. They got me out of bed and made me show my room key and guest card, as apparently in their system the room should be empty. Well, I was in the right room and I was taken out of bed without any need, apparently the receptionist registered me on room 307 and gave me the keys of 407. It was very unpleasant and I had a terrible sleep after that. I wonder why they couldn't wait until later to settle the matter. So I went to the reception to negotiate some kind of compensation for the unpleasant situation they had put me through, I suggested a complimentary breakfast (it costs about U$4.50). But they basically replied that they didn't care about the situation and that I could complain wherever I wanted. Selina is not a cheap hostel, so you're expected to at least be treated well, which was not the case. Before this happened, I would easily give it five stars, as it is comfortable, safe, clean. But the way they treated me wasn't fair, they treated me like I was doing something wrong, when in fact it was their mistake. Second night the private room smelled cigarette, I also let reception know but nothing was made. There were some dishes from a previous guest at the door and they stayed there until my check out. Both nights were very noisy. During check out I had to request the refund of the 35bs key deposit they charged me when checking in, but they said it wasn't registered on the system (again another ”system” mistake), so I had to insist I paid, very uncomfortable situation once more. It seems Selina La Paz needs to improve its management. The whole situation will definitely make me think twice about staying at another Selina.

The staffs was incredibly friendly and responsive, providing helpful local tips. The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and convenient stay!
