Sarovar portico somnath is a nice hotel near the somnath temple. What I liked about this hotel: Executive rooms were large in size and we also got a bathroom with bathtub which was a huge bonus. Restaurant below has good food (with some exceptions below) and staff is very attentive and helpful very close to somnath temple What I think can be improved: While their buffet looked good, a la carte items were good to average. Quality of pizzas - it is a hand size (6”) pizza with soft crust which feels uncooked. Some aspects of the food are average - like their sambar is very sour and concentrated.

Wonderful & Nice Hotel, located in bypass Road Somnath. Excellent & very polite and co-operative Staff. Hotel rooms are spacious, very neat & tidy. Hotel rates are so reasonable. Kamat Resturant is attached to hotel, Nice & tasty muti cuisine breakfast. The front desk Mr Gopakumar Pillai is very polite & co-operative, nice attitude & helping nature. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience, Hospitality is superb, The staff is very very curious, humble and helpful, the deserve 7 star rating for their excellent service, I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I would suggest everyone to avoid this hotel at any cost. Our plan was to stay at this hotel for 2 nights but it was so bad we left after 1 night and avoided this place at all times and went there only to sleep. First and foremost this Hotel stinks, because of its close proximity to fishing. The stench was so bad it was overwhelming and was omnipresent. When we complained the staff response was “we cant smell anything and we are habitual” highly rude and unapologetic staff, I asked them to change the rooms which they later obliged. Secondly the rooms are not at all maintained and bedding stank of usage and sweat. The AC remotes were not working in any of the rooms and we had to get the batteries replaced. 1 room didn’t have the kettle and the other room didn’t have intercom. Thirdly they dont have card machine to pay the bills when asked they again blamed it on the POS machines being unreliable. Last but not the least the unethical thing they tried, when I asked about the bills they didn’t provide me for the room service (tea and milk) and told since they don’t charge GST they wont provide one after insisting that I will pay the GST but need a bill finally they gave me one. The place is run by incompetent staff and unethical management, please avoid this place.

I found this hotel from make my trip, my stay was horrible, in non ac rooms fans available, no air coming, literally we slept in a hot room. Surprisly, their receiption fans gives very cool air rathan than room fans. My request to make my trip team, don't encourage false reviews. I was followed by your rating and disappointed. Next time onward s i need to think to book rooms theough make may teip

It was amazing experience, the services and staff was very good more then expected thanks to sahil, mayur and team for warm welcome and upgrade our rooms we definitely recommend to others and enjoy with temple view and sea view rooms.

Property is 4 kms away from temple, its on the highway, literally no means of transport available, a rare auto person stops by but asks for rs 250 - rs 300 to take you near to temple, property is 9 kms from railway station, no restaurants available, landlines are always dead, u can't reach receptionists for anything, i requested for a kettle, the care take brought me one, but it was all rusted from inside, and maybe it was an unused kettle for a very long time, after sometime tiny cockroaches started coming out of them, like at-least 15-20 tiny roaches, i couldn't even call the reception to complain so i just, placed the kettle out side far off from my room, while i stayed, there was some power cut issues, and maybe the property doesn't have back-up generators. Room is quite spacious and decent, elegant room has a balcony and refrigerator, only negatives were the transportation issue, kettle, power cut, no restaurant and telephone not working.

Good hotel very near to temple. You can see theme from windows. They do not have restaurant but tea n snacks they provide. Budget hotel with clean rooms. For dinner and lunch there are options near Somnath trust building.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. As per my recommendation must try this hotel and explore famous place around somnath.

PPengguna TetamuOur stay was good. Room size i was big enough considering the price we paid. The bathroom was small but clean. The restaurant attached served tasty food at a reasonable price. Only issue was that the hotel was a little far, about 2 km from the somnath temple and auto guys fleece tourists by charging rs 100 for a 2 km trip. Hotel staff was cordial and friendly. It is a budget hotel with comfortable stay.

PPengguna TetamuWe have reached Somnath on 24th night around 9:00pm but our check in time to hotel is 12:00Pm in the noon so i just call to the property manager to intimate our late check in they said ok politely i thought that they won’t allow late check in but he talks to us very cool and he said ok and we checked in room later and the room was very clean and the wash room is also well maintained I thought that we face an issue with the hot water in the morning because early morning we planned for somnath temple darshan but the hot water came in just 2 minutes so that is the good actually i have seen lot of hotels they will maintain good room but coming to washrooms they can’t but here we have good wash room and the people who are working in the hotel are good and they helped us to carry our luggage and all almost all everything is good in the hotel and our room is alos good well maintained i will suggest to my friends when they want to visit Somnath i will suggest them to stay in Decent- Somnath hotel
