Hotel terbaik di Takamaka

Me and my wife stayed in Chez Batistas already five times and want to come back one day. The reason is the location, the restaurant and friendliness of the staff. What people criticized in previous reviews is true. The internet is far from good and the rooms definitely require renovation. There are many imperfections there but the place is simply magical. Make sure you stay there on Sunday when the restaurant organizes great buffet lunch with lots of delicious food and live music. Many local families come and have great time. Do not miss it.

The hotel has several good, not great, features. It’s on a beautiful piece of land, the staff is sweet and occasionally helpful, and the WiFi works most of the time but it’s very weak and slow. There’s one English news station on the TV, the AC works decently (though it is not strong) and it was clean. Also, parking was easy out front of the hotel. The hotel has several bad aspects. First and most obvious, it doesn’t live up to its title as resort or spa. There is a small and nice pool. There is a fitness center. There is a room for massage treatments. There’s one restaurant, and it’s average, and there is a bar. And of course there is a beach. And that’s it. This is not a resort. It is not a spa. But the hotel claims to be a resort in its ads. The staff were just not very welcoming. Checkin was slow and confused. The room was hot. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower water pressure was weak. The room was way, way overpriced (even for Seychelles which is very expensive). There was zero benefit or recognition for Hilton Honors status (I’m a Diamond member). Other than offering a bottle of water, there was no benefit and no recognition. It was really stunning. No extra points. No lounge or happy hour. No upgrade. I stayed at a Hilton because that usually improves the experience. The staff was sweet and polite (if not very helpful), but the management was aloof, dismissive, and rude. I tried to leave the hotel early, even offering to leave after the icey and confused checkin, and I was told I’d be charged if I left. That made it clear. This hotel is simply an investment for its owners and investors. The owners have done as little as possible to charge as much as possible. When the guest notices failings, management become confrontational. The front office management [Rania Asba, Front Office & Quality Manager] simply stormed away when she (after arguing for 20-30 minutes) couldn’t address the many issues. She was confused and became confrontational, which was very uncomfortable. I wanted to leave and was told I would still be charged. Management alternated between confrontational and confused, mostly confused, and only became confrontational when called on their confusion. The front office manager became indignant when confronted on the low quality, poor checkin, bad room, and many issues of low quality. On the few times she did engage, she was condescending, insecure, and dismissive. There are many nice places in Seychelles, and I will definitely be back to Seychelles, but I definitely won’t stay here again. I paid for a resort and got a basic three star hotel in a nice location. I would have paid less and had a much better experience in many of the two star hotels I visited (like Anse Soleil Beachcomber) that were far nicer and relaxing without claiming to be a resort. I would have even paid less at Hotel Savoy, a five star hotel at Beau Vallon Beach, which as a guest treated me far better than anyone at Doubletree. At the Doubletree, y

Симпатичные апартаменты. Все аккуратно, довольно компактно, если сравнивать с пятью разными апартаментами до этого отеля. Но оооочень влажно и душно. И совершенно не продумана история с дверью в туалет. Когда лежишь на кровати, которая находится прям рядом с дверью, в общем-то в щели видишь все действия сидящего на туалете) Ну и близость к воде: искупаться вы не сможете, вода мутновата и грязновата. Зато бесплатно дают каяки. В России это очень популярный отель, я знаю что забронировать место здесь очень сложно, для меня это было как навязчивая идея) Но на деле оказалось, что это не плохие апартаменты, но не стоят того что бы за них биться)

Beautiful and comfortable apartment. Comfortable kitchen. Large bathroom. Very clean. Daily cleaning. There is a grocery store on the first floor. Christina, the owner of the apartment, is very friendly. She helped us with the transfer from the airport and back. The neighborhood where the apartments are located is very convenient. Near stores, market, in 3 is a bus stop. The beach is clean, the best. On the beach there are small cafes where you can rent kayaks. We will come back here again. Thank you.

Vado al Laila resort che costa decisamente caro e dovrebbe essere un 5 stelle. Albergo bello ma non bellissimo ma personale pessimo. Arrivo alla reception e mi accolgono sgarbatamente. Vado in spiaggia (molto bella forse la migliore dell’isola) ma il servizio spiaggia inesistente mi dicono di prendere uno dei lettini lasciati da altri e pure sporchi. In pratica l’albergo ha pochissimi lettini e quando finiscono resti sulla spiaggia libera! Cena piuttosto cattiva e colazione pessima!! Ma il bello è che quando devo andare via (con un taxi che mi aspettava) una sgarbatissima signora della reception mi sequestra perché dice che non ho pagato la camera!! Io avevo pagato tutto tramite agenzia ma la signorina vuole essere pagata di nuovo !! Dopo varie telefonate all’agenzia e dopo molto penare mi lasciano andare. Veramente sgarbati e pessimi. Mai successa una cosa simile. Non è un albergo che si merita 5 stelle, non vale assolutamente il prezzo che chiede. Dovrebbero cambiare tutto il personale soprattutto le signore della reception. Планировать поездку начали заблаговременно, подбирать варианты размещения решила с помощью сайта ***********. Сразу в соответствии с поиском нашла La Residenc. Особо не раздумывая забронировала, так как соотношение цены и предлагаемых вариантов было идеально. Во время бронирования выяснилось, что оплату необходимо произвести сразу на сайте. По причине того, что банковская карта не подходит, провести оплату через сайт ***********. Было невозможно. Большое спасибо Mayna которая вошла в наше положение и подтвердила бронирование без предоплаты. С самого начала возникали разные сложности с нашей стороны, из-за изменения состава путешественников, появилась необходимость поменять номер со второго этажа на первый. Далее авиакомпания внесла изменения в даты рейсов, пришлось соответственно менять даты прибытия. Несмотря на все эти сложности, Mayna проявила понимание, и помогла нам решить все возникшие вопросы, касающиеся нашего размещения! Огромное спасибо! Так же Mayna организовала для нас трансфер в обе стороны. Нас встретили в аэропорту, помогли с багажом и доставили в La Residence. В La Residence, нас встретили и проводили в Бунгало с 2 спальнями. Хотела бы немного рассказать о La Residence. Комплекс La Residence с видом на залив Anse La Mouche находится всего в 50 метрах от Индийского океана. Очень красивые закаты и рассветы вам обеспечены! Международный аэропорт Сейшельских островов находится в 15 км, а Виктория — в 20 км. В комплексе La Residence на всей территории расположен сад с красивыми пальмами, плодовыми деревьями и красивыми цветами, и камнями. Вся эта бурная растительность выглядит невероятно на фоне залива и океана, особенно когда рассвет или закат это просто не передать словами, невероятно красиво. Так же на территории обустроена бесплатная частная парковка. Автобусные остановки находятся в 5-7 минут пешком, автобусы курсируют в разных направлениях. Так же пешком можно дойти по дороге до ресторанов и кафе 5-10 минут. Если пройти чуть дальше, то есть маленькие магазины. Комплекс La Residence находится на возвышенности, а выезд из комплекса упирается в дорогу, которая идет по периметру всего острова, если перейти через эту дорогу вы сразу попадёте на очень уединённый маленький пляж, он находится прям напротив Комплекс La Residence. Если пройти вдоль дороги на право после автобусной остановки начнется небольшая набережная и пляж, который тянется достаточно далеко. В один из дней мы так загулялись по береговой линии во время отлива, что ушли на несколько километров, наслаждаясь пейзажами. Автобусное сообщение достаточно разнообразно мы пользовались именно автобусами для удобства можно скачать приложение и ориентироваться в расписание, но в любом случае необходимо делать поблажку в 5-10 минут + -. Но для более комфортного передвижения можно арендовать автомобиль, на острове очень много вариантов. Мы останавливались в La Residence чуть больше чем на 2 неделе в бунгало с 2 спальнями 135 кв. м.
