If you're planning to do Sun world or Halong bay cruise trip ( which main thing to do) it is little bit far both from location. I would rather stay near Tuan Chau area if I knew everything is in Tuan Chau. I could not find good eateries around the place. Location-wise it's close to Halong market. Facilities are fine and friendly receptionist. Roof top bar is eeeeempty.

Remote location in new complex, not much things or eateries around. We booked the honey moon suite which was nice with the round bed but not enough hot water at night to fill the bathtube. Nice view of the bay from rooftop.

地點可以，酒店設施可以，空間很大，以房租來說很有性價比，員工友善，耐心幫助解答各種問題，也提供協助。缺點也很明顯，房間清潔很差，入房已有很大渠味，應是沒有定期清理，或是沒有概念做好隔氣，餐具摸上手粘粘的，要再做一次清洗才敢使用。吃個杯麵，味道引出曱甴出來😅。盼望日後改善，會是一個很好的逗留地方。

Just one night in this place; the room had plenty of space and the bathroom was very nice and clean. Just something to note: I booked this place because it appeared available on the app, when I arrived the hotel was closed due to the tet, a little bit of pressure as it was late at night; but, one guy from another hotel (within the same hotel company), opened up the hotel for me and my partner. It was a very weird experience, in the morning I talked with the hotel through whatsapp and told me I can message them as soon as I arrive, there would be somebody at reception. Anyway, they solved the situation at the end.

Один из самых дешёвых отелей в Халонге, но вполне приличный. Большие комнаты, огромные удобные кровати, чисто, всё есть, много мебели, уютно. Хорошо расположен кондиционер, красивые жалюзи. Рядом с отелем множество баров и ресторанов, но было не шумно. Спали очень хорошо. Единственный минус - мини-бар, который почти не холодил. Обслуживание быстро, без проблем. На шведском столе в ресторане выбор блюд небольшой, но сытно и вкусно, много фруктов. Расположение отеля посредине между центром и портом. Если нет машины, 7-10 км только на такси. Пляжный отдых отсутствует в Халонге в принципе: очень грязное море, горы мусора везде.

HHarriet MayA beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views of Halong Bay. We were in a twin room on the 12th floor which was quiet at night, with an incredible view of the bay and overlooking the pool - possibly the best view I’ve ever had. The service was great and the staff all very polite, friendly and helpful. There is good variety in the restaurants and prices are reasonable for what you receive. We also took full advantage of the grand spa, which offers a full range of treatments at a reasonable price. The spa staff could possibly have been a touch more professional (there was giggling which wasn’t totally appreciated) and the reflexology was much more of a leg massage, however we still enjoyed our treatments and for the price versus time of treatments we were happy. Location of the hotel is beautiful and away from the busy hustle and bustle of the city, though this means taxis are necessary in order to get anywhere. Hotel staff are very happy to help you organise these taxis though which made things very accessible. Overall a lovely stay and I would certainly stay here again.

The only unpleasant thing is construction right under windows of sea view rooms. It started at 7 am and was really loud. However, it is definitely not hotel’s fault, and moreover, the stuff provided us another room twice: one on the higher floor and another on the other side of the building, where the sound of construction is almost zero. We really appreciate that!
As for location - you will need to use taxi to get to city centre, restaurant and cruise ports, but that’s ok, if you have Grab/Bolt. The prices between VND 45,000 and VND 140,000 depending on distance.
N.B. We’ve visited Halong at very low season, so c. 60% of bars/ restaurants were closed and the rest were empty (except for couple of European).

PPengguna TetamuRoom is superb clean. Facilities are good. Location wise is far from tuan chau harbour & Bay chai harbour. Do not trust the transport that arrange by hotel's lady! Is not even taxi nor hotel's car, is a personal car who trying to charge high price. (1) We requested hotel to pick us up at 14km away from. Pre-comunicate via WhatsApp is 200k vnd, and when we arrived hotel, the guy intend to charge us 250k vnd but lastly we show him supporting proof & called hotel then only allowed 200vnd. (1) we also ask the hotel lady to book taxi from hotel to 6.1km away for where our bus pick us. Same guy again, with same trick. We ask the lady how much will be the cost , she ask us not to worry as is meter will 1km 12k vnd. Then we insist and the price range then she mentioned range 100k-150k. When end of the trip. We are asking to pay for 150k vnd without using meter. Conclusion, very nice & clean hotel but do not ask hotel reception for taxi. Or if want, insist them to book a proper taxi for u with pre-agree price. Not personal type car.

PPengguna Tetamu겨울이라 사람들이 거의 없었고 춥지 않아 걸어서 왠만한 장소를 다닐 수 있었네요. 단 여름에는 걷기 애매한 거리에 번화가와의 거리라 단점이 될 수 있겠네요. 조용한 환경에 숙박만 원하신디면 좋은 선택입니다.
단 직원들이 중국어에 특화되어 있고 프런트 말고는 간단한 영어도 소통이 힘들었습니다.
작은 ***도 있어서 소액으로 잠시 즐기기 좋았습니다.

PPengguna TetamuAlthough classified as a 4-star luxury hotel, no concierge service was available and we had to transfer our luggage ourselves to the room. Only two front desk staff members were there, who did everything. There was no travel agent to provide travel or cruise information or services in Halong Bay.
The breakfast spread was limited to selecting from the 2-3 options a day in advance, which was not a 4-star menu.
The room provided was a two-room suite with an attached kitchenette, which had a cooking stove, but no cooking utensils or even plates for serving. Even a basic necessity like a microwave to heat food was lacking. There was no hot water facility for washing utensils.
The air conditioning was not centralized, but independent units in each room. The bedroom size was very small, with barely any space to open the wardrobes.
Overall the two-day stay experience was not as comfortable and luxurious as one would expect in a 4-star accommodation.
There was no rooftop swimming pool or bar and in fact, we were told that there is nothing much to explore on the higher floors. Our accommodation was provided on the 14th floor.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaI went on the cruise with my two sons, and we had a fantastic time. This was definitely the highlight of our entire Vietnam trip! The views were like heaven on earth, and being surrounded by karst islands from the ship felt truly magical.
Our room was spacious, and we made full use of the jacuzzi and balcony, soaking in the stunning scenery. While there were only a few activities, they were perfect for someone like me in my 60s or for those who prefer a more relaxing cruise experience. We still got to enjoy a bamboo boat ride, explore the Dark and Bright Cave, take part in a cooking class, fishing village tour, and try squid fishing
The food was excellent, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Thank you for making our Vietnam trip so memorable!

I really enjoy es my stay at Novotel Ha Long Bay.
1. The room is extremely spacious. I would say that 3 people moving around would be no problem at all. The bed is also large.
2. The amenities are superb, I got all I need and some of those are eco-friendly items.
3. Not only the bedroom, the bathroom is spacious too. Wow!
4. The staffs are humble and understanding. At first I requested a late checkout until 12.30, yet I changed it to 13.00 because I just got back from my friend’s wedding. Furthermore, they always helping me order Main Linh taxi.
5. Squeaky clean!!! I love clean property!!!
Unfortunately, there is no bidet. Indonesians use bidet daily. There is no option a of Halal food, yet it is okay, that is just common in Vietnam. Overall, my experience was impressive to the point I even take photos for the purpose of reviewing how good this hotel was.

YYee11I recently had the pleasure of sailing through Ha Long Bay with Dora Cruise as Doria Cruise not able to complete it time, but the company helped to transferred and provide some discount and it was an unforgettable experience!
The Dora cruise ship was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. They transferred us to the Executive Suite, with its spacious luxury and stunning views of the emerald waters.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They beautifully decorating our suite with flowers for my birthday, making it feel like a real celebration.
And if that wasn't enough, they even surprised me by also presented me with a delicious birthday cake during dinner, complete with candles and singing! It was such a lovely touch and made my birthday truly special.
The food was delicious and varied, with plenty of options for all dietary needs. The itinerary was well-planned, with a good balance of activities (kayaking, swimming, visiting caves) and relaxation time. Ha Long Bay's breathtaking scenery left us in awe.
Overall, I highly recommend Dora Cruise for an exceptional Ha Long Bay experience! Their attention to detail, kindness, and commitment to making every guest feel special are truly exceptional.
