Hotel berhampiran Im Mediapark, Cologne

Haben am Wochenende eine Nacht hier verbracht. Das Hotel ist stylisch, im Bereich der Bar die Kölschen Gebote an der Wand, chic gemacht! Hatten - da nur eine Nacht- Zimmer der einfachen Kategorie. Klein, aber hübsch. Bett bequem. Bad ist mini, aber flauschige Handtücher, sauber, schöne Dusche. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht und als wir morgens sahen, wie unendlich voll es war und dass die Gäste bis zur Rezeption irgendwelche Sitzmöbel belegten, beschlossen wir, anderweitig zu frühstücken. Ein bisschen Gemütlichkeit möchte man ja schon an einem Sonntagmorgen. Die Bar ist sehr nett, ideal für einen Ausklang. Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Kein eigener Parkplatz, aber das Parkhaus ganz im der Nähe, auf den dortigen Preis wurden 5,00 Euro Hotelrabatt gegeben. Wir zahlten für knapp 23 Stunden dann sensationelle 10,00 Euro! Ich würde das Haus wieder buchen.

The Courtyard Marriott of Cologne was clean, beautiful and a great location. It was a short walk to the Central train Station and near all the sights of Cologne. I was only there for one night and did not get to experience the breakfast as we checked out before it was served, but they did provide me with a lunch box which included a ham and cheese sandwich, a banana and a water. There is coffee and boxed water 24 hours a day in the lobby. The beds were super comfortable and the temperature of the room was ideal, as we had control over the air conditioner, whereas other hotels we stayed in the same week, did not allow us control and we were very warm. The room we had was a nice size and the view was of the empty courtyard which was extrememly quiet and definitely highly desirable. Front staff upon checking in, was not friendly, however after check in everyone else we came in contact with was very friendly. I didn't get the ladies name at the front desk, but she definitely didn't give us a positive welcome. Glad her shift ended and everyone else we dealt with, and passed was extremely friendly and that is what the experience should be like.

Hotel ligt vlak bij de Dom en het centraal station in een rustige straat en beschikt over een eigen parkeergarage (tegen betaling) die wel vrij nauwe ingang en nauwe parkeerplekken heeft. We arriveerden tegen het middaguur; onze business comfort met 2 separate bedden kamer was reeds gereed. Inchecken verloopt snel en effectief in de kleine receptie. De kamer beschikt over een badkamer met baddouche en toilet. Er is een raam dat open kan. Ondanks dat de kamer aan de straatzijde op 1e etage ligt is deze rustig. Er is koffie thee op de kamer beschikbaar. Vlak naast de receptie ligt de grote ruimte waar het ontbijtbuffet met ruim voldoende keuze geserveerd wordt. Vanuit het hotel loop je binnen 5 minuten via de stationshal het stadscentrum met alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden (waaronder de Dom van Keulen) in. Er zijn voldoende restaurants in de omgeving; het hotel heeft geen restaurant voor lunch of diner.

I stayed for 2 nights on a trip through Europe. The hotel is centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful Cologne Cathedral. What I liked: The great location. The friendly staff. Exceptionally clean. Great Breakfast with lots on offer. Easily accessible. The bed was comfortable. What I didn’t like: The room I was given was tiny with no window. It was so so hot and sadly that affected my sleep. The room had air conditioning but it didn’t work and just circulated hot air. However, the kind man on reception offered me another room, but I was already settled and for such a short stay didn’t want to pack everything up again. Regardless of that, I’d be happy to stay here again and the price I paid was incredibly reasonable, being so close to the centre of the city.

Great price for a hotel in this location. The room is a bit limited in size but very clean and comfortable. Being located virtually right behind the Cathedral, this hotel is a nice choice if you want to walk around the city.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. I would definitely be staying in this hotel again when I visit Cologne. In German (Deutsch) Das Hotel Mondial in Köln ist mein Favorit und ist mit Sicherheit das Hotel von der Accor Hotel Gruppe. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. Das Hotel liegt in Köln recht zentral. Auch die Möglichkeit direkt im Hotel zu frühstücken hat wohl den Ausschlag für die Buchung gegeben. Jedoch schon bei der Ankunft zeigte sich das an der Rezeption vor und nach mir es wohl Lautstärkedifferenzen zwischen den Buchungen der anreisenden Gäste und den Verständnis, der nur bedingt deutsch sprechenden Dame an der Rezeption gab. Mein mitreißender Kollege hat er eindeutig Frühstück mit bestellt. Musste dies aber am nächsten Morgen lautstark einfordern. Ich selbst, bin sehr viel in Hotels unterwegs hab es aber extrem selten erlebt, dass das Personal gegenseitig immer wieder lautstark vorgestern um Abläufe, welche eingeübt sein sollten, stritten. Mein Zimmer selbst war abgewohnt und hatte wohl den Flair der 1980 Jahre. Stromkabel einfach an die Wand geklebt, mit der Hoffnung, dass diese sich nicht wieder lösen. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen. Was den Grund, dass Mitarbeiter und Gäste sich ständig negativ anschreien.

Stayed for two nights. Easy to get around. Close to all amenities, lots of restaurants with different cuisines in the area. Small room with double bed nicely decorated and comfortable enough unspite of little closet space. Clean. There are no shower cup, and just soap for all your body parts, including hair. The staff provided me with a kettle upon requst, so I could have a cup of tea in my room. Continental breakfast is very satisfying. And this hotel has the best cappuccino in Koeln.

Sauna is not opened for our whole 3-nights stay. Require us to go down to the frontdesk to get our extra amenities eg. conditioner and towel.

Come here very often, reasonably priced with good proximity to downtown whilst facing a relaxing park with deers. Booking team was super helpful and supportive when having booked mistakenly the wrong sister hotel from start. Hotel is clean and service always nice. Great breakfast selection. Will surely come back again!
