was told after checked in that they were undergoing water piping in midnight and bo water from 11pm to 5am next morning. wish they had posted this when made the booking. other than that, it is always my favorite hotel to stay at in Cologne. location is excellent, 300 meter to central station and city center.

The Hotel shows five stars! The room had no wifi whatsoever, although they showed three different wifi lans. Attempts to bridge this gap with mobile hotspots were not helpful. Noises from other rooms were audible, which means a bad noise insulation. Worst of all was that there was first only boiling hot water in the bathroom. This was due to the fact that all cold water supplies were closed. Still after opening them ourselves, one of the two lavatories cold water regulator was not functional. Shocking was that the shower was switching from regulated 38 degrees Celsius to suddenly boiling hot water and then to ice cold water. This made showering an unpleasant not to say dangerous encounter! You judge if this Hotel deserves the five star rating. Our attempt to communicate the shortcomings was prompted with the statement that the maintenance technicians had left! (???)

This is a decent budget hotel in a good location. The hotel is directly on the station and in front of the Dom. It was great given we had an early train the next day. The room was fine. Be aware if you're on the 4th floor there's no lift for the last 8 steps. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and the shower room was also clean with good water pressure. It was basic and I'd have liked more pillows but for an overnight stop it was fine and we wanted it mainly for the location. We had to leave early so didn't manage breakfast but there are plenty of places in the vicinity that serve food.

Hotel ligt vlak bij de Dom en het centraal station in een rustige straat en beschikt over een eigen parkeergarage (tegen betaling) die wel vrij nauwe ingang en nauwe parkeerplekken heeft. We arriveerden tegen het middaguur; onze business comfort met 2 separate bedden kamer was reeds gereed. Inchecken verloopt snel en effectief in de kleine receptie. De kamer beschikt over een badkamer met baddouche en toilet. Er is een raam dat open kan. Ondanks dat de kamer aan de straatzijde op 1e etage ligt is deze rustig. Er is koffie thee op de kamer beschikbaar. Vlak naast de receptie ligt de grote ruimte waar het ontbijtbuffet met ruim voldoende keuze geserveerd wordt. Vanuit het hotel loop je binnen 5 minuten via de stationshal het stadscentrum met alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden (waaronder de Dom van Keulen) in. Er zijn voldoende restaurants in de omgeving; het hotel heeft geen restaurant voor lunch of diner.

The Courtyard Marriott of Cologne was clean, beautiful and a great location. It was a short walk to the Central train Station and near all the sights of Cologne. I was only there for one night and did not get to experience the breakfast as we checked out before it was served, but they did provide me with a lunch box which included a ham and cheese sandwich, a banana and a water. There is coffee and boxed water 24 hours a day in the lobby. The beds were super comfortable and the temperature of the room was ideal, as we had control over the air conditioner, whereas other hotels we stayed in the same week, did not allow us control and we were very warm. The room we had was a nice size and the view was of the empty courtyard which was extrememly quiet and definitely highly desirable. Front staff upon checking in, was not friendly, however after check in everyone else we came in contact with was very friendly. I didn't get the ladies name at the front desk, but she definitely didn't give us a positive welcome. Glad her shift ended and everyone else we dealt with, and passed was extremely friendly and that is what the experience should be like.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. Splendid Location Situation a few minutes walk from the train station and the main city area, is this hotel definite one of the most strategic location in Cologne. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. Visited Cologne for six days in December with our 18y son over the Christmas period. Our daughter, who is working in Cologne, joined us at the hotel for the first three days sharing a twin bedroom with her brother. The location is fantastic - in a quiet square but only 10 minutes walk away from the cathedral. Easy to get to from the airport by train if you have few bags/trolley wheels. Its a unique building and the staff are friendly, helpful and help to create a gentle easy going ambience. Special mention to Nina who was on reception for the first few days - also the guy serving a continental breakfast - welcoming and a lovely gentle manner about him. Rooms are not standard so best to check size and shape of your room - my wife and i moved to a larger room, which was amazing with a view of the square, as the standard was a little too small. Our kids twin bed room was excellent also. Only quibble is that the wi-fi & TV set up could be better - but hey it does work - so minor quibble only. We will definitely be back!

Das Hotel war günstig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Untergeschoss, was aber bei 37 Grad Celsius gar nicht so schlecht war. Es war dunkel und hat ziemlich modrig gerochen. Bei normalen Temperaturen möchte ich hier nicht übernachten. Wir hätten aber eventuell ein Update bekommen, nahmen es aber nicht aufgrund der heißen Außentemperaturen. Aber das Zimmer war sauber. Im Bad war natürlich etwas Schimmel in den Fugen, was aber bei dem Kellerzimmer kein Wunder ist. Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück in Ordnung. Es gab Buffet und die Coronaregeln wurden gut eingehalten. Das Auto konnten wir für extra Gebühr in einem nahegelegenen Parkhaus abstellen. Vor dem Hotel gibt es keine Plätze und die Straße ist auch so eng, so dass man nicht einmal gut Ein- bzw. Ausladen kann. Man muss immer wieder im Kreis fahren, da es Einbahnsystem ist. Es gibt für das Parkhaus nur einen einzigen Schlüssel, den man auch sofort wieder abgeben muss. Hat man etwas im Fahrzeug vergessen, muss man erneut den Schlüssel holen, da man nur mit ihm ins Parkhaus kommt. Raus kommt man so. Auf der einen Seite des Parkhauses ist leider ein Mauervorsprung gegen den wir rückwärts gefahren sind und uns das Auto leicht verkratzt und eingedellt haben. Darauf sollte man achten. Denn das war sehr ärgerlich.

The soap provided in the bathroom was of poor quality so definitely bring your own. Breakfast was ok. It seemed far too expensive for what it was- yogurt/bread/cheese/ eggs/ honey . One day we found mouldy yogurt/orange/crudités - they dealt with this swiftly and didn’t charge us for breakfast. Housekeeping didn’t come once during our 3 night stay. One of the chairs in our room had questionable stains on it. The gym looked very small and only had one set of weights and an elliptical machine. Overall a comfortable stay. More 3 star than 4 star hotel. Was conveniently situated close to good shops and restaurants.

Nice hotel in an old city building. I liked that I was able to securely park my car in the back lot. The room was comfortable and clean. Good value as many hotels were sold out or high prices during the Christmas Markt season. My daughter and I walked and visited 5 Christmas Markts from the Hotel Boulevard and would have made e 6 if not for rain. They offer a very good breakfast in the morning.

This is a good, solid hotel. Very clean room, comfortable bed, and the staff is friendly. The room faced a side street which was rather loud when sleeping with an open window. For a hotel chain that prides itself with its design, the room was a little boring ... which is fine, just clashed with the glossy design brochures that were inside the boring room. Maybe this was another hotel before it became a ”motel”? WiFi is fine. Breakfast was nice and good quality, but the breakfast area is a little bit small, and it gets very crowded during rush hour. Also, the breakfast choices are limited by unexpected vegan items. Vegan would be great as long as it does not try to imitate other food, and as long as there would be more vegetarian choices like more real cheeses available.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. I actually can’t describe in words how kind the staff were in this hotel. When I got there I was really exhausted from my journey to this city, but the friendly greeting in this hotel immediately made me feel welcome! The guy who helped me check in was very friendly. When I booked the room throughout this website I made a request to have a quiet room. When I arrived in the room I could really see they were really thoughtful about choosing the room, because it was really quiet and far away from the other rooms, so you won’t hear the foot steps or doors slamming at night. Also wanted to thank the friendly guy who was working on the afternoon shifts (Thursday 2 September and Friday 3 September). He was very kind and patient whenever I would ask something. My English sometimes gets a little lost in the translation, but he didn’t made me feel rushed and took his time to understand what I trying to say. He is true gentleman! When I was ready to leave there was a lovely lady ready to help me with the checkout. What I really liked about her that she was not only polite, but also genuine and very kind! The room, where I was staying in, was also very clean. Which made me feel comfortable to stay in this hotelroom. I couldn’t wish for anything else during my stay. Please, if you are visiting Cologne and if you are looking for a nice hotel to stay in, I would definitely recommend this hotel!
