The rooms left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. To add to the discomfort, there was a persistent bad smell emanating from the bathroom that just wouldn't go away. The TV, one of the few amenities I was hoping to enjoy, wasn't even working. The advertised facilities were minimal and not up to standard. Honestly, I'd recommend you not waste your time and money here.

It is perfectly positioned with close proximity to transport, restaurants, supermarkets and a short stroll to the beach. The room was very clean and spacious and had all the facilities that a hotel room could offer. The breakfast was tasty and varied from day to day. The highlight is the staff, all of whom who were polite, helpful, and efficient. The price was very reasonable. I have stayed in this hotel on many previous occasions, and I will keep going there while I am in Colombo. I can recommend this hotel to singles/couples/families. They will not be disappointed.

Nice hotel, staff really helpful (e.g. one lent me their personal umbrella during the heavy rain), rooms clean and large, bbc on TV, large laptop compatible safe in wardrobe, and a curry house literally behind the hotel 50ft down an alley. Location central. COVID precautions are in place but not an issue, good to see Sri Lanka reopening up to the world.

I had the worst experience ever with this hotel. I stayed with them for 4 nights during which I asked them for a bill countless times. These guys kept charging me for services and rent and never gave me a receipt for anything at all. Even at the time of checkout I asked for a bill and the receptionist kept me standing at the reception for 40 mins while I was getting late for my flight, and yet I did not receive my bill. Since then I've asked the hotel to email or WhatsApp me my bill at least 20 times but they're highly unresponsive and unprofessional. They've been giving me false promises of sending my bill ”ASAP” for last 4 days now and yet I have not received my bill. The only task of a receptionist is checkin checkout and billing. How can you not know how to do that???? They kept charging me money and I don't know how much they charged me for what. Cuz you'll never get a bill for anything. PS: The food is terrible too! Not fit for human consumption. Such Cheats and Frauds!! BEWARE GUYS!! DON'T STAY HERE!!
