Aloft Lexington

This hotel was awkward: no dressers for clothing, no closet, no cleaning service (unless requested a day in advance). For eight days I was living out of my suitcase. I’m not sure I would stay again.

The Aloft Lexington hotel was a perfect stay for its price. It had an eclectic ambiance full of paintings, neon lights and music around the property. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. There is a nice size pool, bar, and pool table to enjoy in the down time. The only reason it didn’t get a perfect score was because of its location. You have to drive to the nearby cities for everything.

Not very comfortable environment nor furniture. Felt very hipster edgy in hotel. Very spartan at the expense of comfort in the rooms. Very noisy environment. Felt like a rave in the lobby and elevators.

Clean compact and relatively modern rooms with all basic amenities. Very helpful staff. Also like the fact that checkout is at noon. Location is convenient with easy access to I-95. Also has a pool and gym (my schedule didn’t allow using them) but saw several people using them.

The location is convenient, the room facilities was good. Some items didn’t work properly like the sliding door but other than that was ok.

No breakfast for purchase until after6a. So early fights SOL Toilet in room clogged front desk didn’t answer phone.

Broken barn door to toilet. Very hard to open and it was the accessible HC room. No towels in room upon arrival. No hot water for morning showers.

I’ll never stay here again as long as I live! Check in process was OK except I had a hotel worker asking me for too many questions about my stay and what I was there for and why am I honeymoon by myself. My husband showed up later Room was dirty. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. There were no smaller towels in the bathroom. Hair underneath the blanket which was not mine or my husband. There were smaller towels in the room. We called down to get an extra blanket brought up and that took about 3040 minutes took another 30 to 40 minutes. I also asked for some toothpaste and toothbrush and took about 25 minutes. Bathroom sliding door is a hazard and my finger got stuck in it. The market was completely unstocked. There was nothing to eat , there wasn’t even plastic diningware for the food we ordered out. when I asked the front desk for it took him 20 minutes. So we decided to go swimming in the heated pool and we went down there and it was 730 on a Sunday night our honeymoon and the door was locked and there were some sort of supervised swimming going on with people swimming laps. It was so loud including a lot of screaming and I could hear everything on the other side, which was a bunch of kids running around so much noise and people that were smoking in the hallway. Supposed to be last night and we don’t have a lot of money and it was a complete disaster to this place .
