Villa de Adeje Beach

Stayed here for ten nights March 2024. Hotel Is clean and tidy rooms cleaned regular. Staf are friendly and approachable. Check in was easy. Food a bit repetitive but edible. It's a struggle to get a sun bed unless you want to go put your towels out at 6am. A shortage of sun beds and space for anymore is an issue. There were sunbeds with towels on from what we witnessed empty untill after dinner. We were in the rooms numbered 101 this floor is not very nice you want to be on level 2 or above. Would we stay again Yes but would not accept a room on 1st floor. Overall not a bad hotel.

Returned from another great holiday at this hotel Again had a great time. Third holiday already booked as we loved our stays. Excellent location Helpful staff. Good choice of food. I got fed up of listening to one or two people moaning about petty things. You booked a three star hotel. You have to pay for luxury. We love this hotel Give it a go

We were supposed to stay here in May 2024 but ended up not even managing to stay one night. We arrived at the hotel and initially weren’t too worried. It was dated but nothing bad. Having read the reviews online I checked what level our room was on and the receptionist made a remark about us reading the reviews…as if this was a bad thing…ok reflection this was the first warning sign. We had to to wait for our room but we arrived early so that’s not an issue. We waited in the small, old fashioned pool area. We knew it was 3* so weren’t expecting miracles but when we arrived at our room we found that it was extremely dated and worn - chipping paint, etc and we noticed greasy smears on the walls. There was old an fashioned bed spread on each bed which smelt fousty and unclean and was hair on the sheets under it. There was dust and hair build up around the headboard, too. We tried to make the best of it was we were only due to be staying 3 nights so we went downstairs for dinner, more to see what it was like than to actually eat as neither of us were feeling great about eating there. I used the womens toilet on that floor which is adjacent to the kitchen where I found half a dozen dead cockroaches and several alive ones. This was the final straw! We rang our travel company and made alternative arrangements immediately and left the hotel asap for another, cleaner, 3* hotel. When checking out staff were very dismissive of the issue. Was utterly appalled, would not stay here. Other issues included the lifts being out of order, less than ideal as I’m disabled. There was another lift but at the other end of the hotel so a much further walk. It was generally very old fashioned. I get that it’s only 3* but you’d expect a bit of modernisation nowadays. There’s also additional charges for WiFi, and you have to pay a cash deposit if you want a tv remote, Aircon remote, use of the safe or a kettle.

If you accept it’s a 3 1/2 star hotel then there’s no problem. Only issue we would mention is that the towels are only replaced once a week. When you’re showering 3 or 4 times a day (towels dry on the veranda) it could be more often. Food is very good and there wasn’t anything we didn’t try or dislike. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Decor could be updated but what’s there is very clean. We will definitely be returning.

Stayed at this hotel for 30 days, 26th March to 26th April. It is in a great location easy walk to shops, bars and the beach. All Staff friendly, helpful and happy. All areas are very clean and tidy, and rooms are large, which are serviced daily with the exception of Sundays. Entertainment nightly with something for most people. I will be returning to this hotel again without doubt. 😊

We stayed here last July and enjoyed the stay so much we came back. The rooms are impeccably clean, plenty of choice on food and drink. Location is excellent, 20 mins from airport, near TF1 motorway to get around. Siam park is only 5 min drive away. Aqualand is only 10 min walk away. Boat trips are readily available in the port - 10 min walk. Maxicat is excellent! Excellent standards for 3* If you want 5* choice, pay for it. Nice little gym, sauna, table tennis, pool, jacuzzi etc. Entertainment on every night. The only downside is the pool area is a little small for number of guests in summer, so you have to get up early to get a sunbed. We didn't struggle this visit as not during school holidays. I'd recommend hiring a kettle if you like tea in the morning and the air con remote (deposit only) to cool down before bed.

This is our 2nd visit to this lovely hotel and I really cannot fault it. The hotel’s location is excellent, near to numerous shops, bars and restaurants and the beach is a 5 - 10 mins walk. You literally take a right outside the hotel, walk down a fairly steep hill and you’re there! Great walking down, a bit more effort needed walking back up. Haha!! All the staff here are really friendly and cannot do enough for you. We are a family of three and are staying in a one bedroom apar**ent, which is clean and spacious with plenty of storage for clothes. There is a small kitchen area with a fridge, which is great for keeping your drinks nice and cold. The balcony is spacious and there’s plenty of room to sit and relax with a coffee (or beer) and take in the views. The Bathroom is also spacious with a good size powerful shower and the beds are extremely comfortable. The all inclusive buffet - there really is something for everyone and the chefs work hard topping up with fresh food constantly. Fresh fish and chicken is cooked on a grill in front of you and there is always a home cooked soup or Canarian stew for starters. There is a wide selection of fresh salads and also a good selection of colds meats and cheeses. I really cannot understand how anyone could complain about the food. There is always an excellent variety. For those wanting burgers, hot dogs and pizza, the pool snack bar is open most of the day. Thank you to the management and hard working staff of hotel Villa de Adeje Beach - I am now off to enjoy the rest of my holiday!!

The hotel has it's pros and cons. It was the cheapest hotel to Tenerife in this time so the value was absolutely fantastic. Some of the very good things about this hotel is the restaurant; has fairly diverse food options as well as the snack bar. The pool area is good and they have very good staff service who are nice and helpful. Knowing Tenerife, the weather was also very warm and sunny. The worser things about the hotel is that we payed 15 Euros (not deposit) for Wi-Fi which half of the time didn't even work and the upload speeds were hilariously slow. It was basically a scam because we didn't even need to enter the password to use it at times. It's quite loud in the evening because of live music which is on basically everyday, so it can be a challenge if you are a night owl. The hotel rooms have shown their age, some bits of paint on the walls are peeling off, but it's not too bad considering it's only in certain places, and given the bargain price we payed (£1300 for 7 nights). The location of the hotel however is really good, it is around a 25 minute walk to the 2 amazing aqua parks in Tenerife (Siam Park and AquaLand), many possibilities to go to Mount Teide for the day as well as it being fairly close to the beach, and many shops with magnets, massages and car rentals! It's great for basically everyone; whether you prefer hiking, going to aqua parks, or even tanning at the beach. Overall, I am very happy with the hotel, I just wish they would get better Wi-Fi speeds considering you are meant to pay for it. Renovating the hotel rooms a bit would also be very nice but compared to many 3 star hotels we've been to, this is certainly one of the better ones!

Avoid this hotel at all cost We have been to this hotel three time January September and march this year In September the day before coming home a bag of new clothes had been taken from my room we went to reception to tell them the lady was brilliant we put it down to the cleaner thinking it was rubbish 19 of us go back in march for a big family holiday 4 days in things had been taken again ..( not just from our room ) this time I was spoken to like dirt called the most horrendous things. we don’t talk or like people like you I have footage of the whole thing WE HAD TO GET JET2 in to deal with the situation I’m go glad I recorded it because the wouldnt show jet2 the cctv because they lied
