The Old Hall Hotel

Wonderful place to stay in Coventry. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Rooms are high quality and the cafe/bar comfortable and serve great food. Stayed over Christmas and was made to feel at home and very comfortable. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay or just pop in to the cafe for a bite to eat.

Visited today for santas grotto, was lovely and quiet, was the only people in our time slot which was perfect for our children with additional needs as they were comfortable. Santa was brilliant and the children had a good amount of time with him in his grotto, they then got to do some activities afterwards including raindeer food with the elves which was brilliant with them and they made it feel so special for them. The place is decorated beautifully and the staff in the main hotel were lovely and got us a table afterwards for some drinks. The presents were brilliant for the money. Overall brilliant value and a brilliant grotto. Thank you old hall hotel! Xx

We held my Father’s celebration of life here. Staff were supportive, friendly and were so attentive on the day. The facilities were excellent, which included a lovely bright room, large screen to display photographs and space for a memorial table etc. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was delicious and catered for different tastes such as vegan and gluten-free. Would highly recommend, Meriel

We held a celebration of life for my father here. The staff were lovely and attentive. The food was brilliant. It was a beautiful room and it was a lovely and intimate function. They provided a large screen that played a selection of photos for us, which made the experience even more personal. There was plenty of parking for all the guests. I would highly recommend having any event here.

Had a lovely stay at Old Hall, no one around in reception when we arrived at around 4:45 pm but made our way through to the coffee shop and the young woman attended to us and showed us our room was very attentive. The room itself had a lovely location was very large with a walk-in shower and everything you need for an overnight stay, comfortable bed, good pillows, great TV selection, tea/coffee tray, small fridge. Etc. The restaurant wasn’t open on the evening we stayed but the hotel recommended various pubs locally. We went to the The White Lion in nearby Allesley, which is part of the vintage inn chain, food, atmosphere and decor all good, was very popular. We haven’t booked but managed to find a table in the bar area and the menu was the same throughout. Back at the hotel security had locked the gate, I guess this means I’ve had problems in the past but he let us in and accompany us to our room. Breakfast was a bit odd as you could choose whatever you wanted from the café menu, we had toasted sandwiches and plentiful coffee. Followed by a toasted tea cake, all of which was promptly and pleasantly served by the woman on duty. When we checked out we saw the same young woman who had checked us in the day before and we chatted for a while. All in all a good experience, and I would definitely go back.

Lovely hotel. We stayed for only one night, as had a meeting locally. Room was spotless, had all the amenities that we needed. As we arrived later in the evening, and it was during the week, the restaurant wasn't open, but we were supplied with snacks/toasties when we arrived. Staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent stay!
