Location is good, nice walks in the Village if you like. Spindles was the highlight of the experience, access to the spa and pool, steam room and Sauna, make for a very relaxing morning. The parking was free and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was unlocked when we entered. We could not use the mirror in the bathroom because then we had to open a curtain to the garden. Outside looked like a graveyard for cars and there was garbage all over the place. Don’t think it belonged to the hotel but yet it was very visible from the room. On the plus side it was fairly cheap, not very dirty and the room was large.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My recent stay at Ibis London Gatwick was an absolute delight, thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by Vanessa, the outstanding receptionist at the hotel. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, Vanessa's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel like a valued guest. She greeted me with a genuine smile, took the time to answer all of my questions, and provided me with helpful information about the hotel and its amenities. Her professionalism, empathy and attention to detail during the check-in process were truly impressive considering I did not have a prior booking and was a walk in guest. Throughout my stay, Vanessa continued to exceed my expectations with her exceptional customer service. Whether it was assisting with travel arrangements, providing directions to local amenities, or simply offering a friendly greeting whenever I passed by the front desk, Vanessa's commitment to ensuring that I had a memorable and comfortable stay was evident in every interaction. I must also commend Gihan, a remarkable member of the restaurant team, for his exceptional service as well. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a top-notch hospitality experience. I loved my experience at the Bloc. It was so easy to find and very welcoming after a long train journey. The staff were very helpful with my questions about simple things. I liked the complementary drinks in the serving room, the lovely thick towels and welcome message for me, and also that the room was dark and quiet, which I needed for a long journey ahead of me. I liked the discounts in surrounding shops. Perfect.

I specifically booked a night at the Sofitel Gatwick because it included 'Meet and Greet' parking with Maple Parking. Had they not included this I would have still stayed but made other arrangments for my car. I arrived at the Maple Parking Meet and Greet and parked the car. Took my keys over to the attendant and signed in. I then asked if they could give me 20 minutes to check in to the hotel, change clothes and bring a bag back to the car. We didnt want to bring a bag of unclean clothes on holiday with us. Here's where things went downhill faster than Gwynth Paltrow on ski's. The attendant, a tall bloke with a mid-european accent shouted at me 'No, do you know you are at an airport'. He actually shouted this. Shouted. To a customer. Take a minute to breathe that in. Fortunatly I knew I was at an airport, having driven 4 hours to get there. To hear that I was at an airport was no surprise, to be shouted at by a car park attendant was. I explained that I didnt want to take a case of unclean clothes on holiday with me. His response to that was 'we are extremly busy and your car will be removed immediately'. I asked if the hotel would hold the bag and he replied 'No they will not hold your stupid bag'. Here's where I should have murdered him with his Maple Meet and Greet Staff lanyard, but I did not. I asked for my keys back to be told once again in an truely agresive manner 'if you take your keys I will close the entry and you can't come back'. I took the keys and left. I then had to park at Gatawick Long stay for an additional £150. We finally checked into the hotel, explained the situation. The checkin lady (Alessia?) apologised and gave us two tokens for a free drink at the bar. They also kept our bag for us. Is this the fault of Sofitel Gatwick? I think it is. They decided to partner with a company that treats people appalingly. So they've got to accept responsibility for that. Please share this review, If I saw something like this I would have chose another car park or another hotel. Other people should be warned.

Stayed here before our flight the next day ,parking was straight forward no problem lots cameras taking photos of car so if problem it's on camera great idea lots security cameras so again car safe . Booking in very quick and easy no problem there only problem was £50 taken out of bank as a just in case this was not returned for a week bit annoying. Room was spacious and comfortable and clean was great for us both . Parking for 15 days was included the price . Dinner was good the beefburgers where massive and tasty ,on return collection of car was 5 mins no problem there taxi to and from hotel by metro cabs was the best yet and cheap we will use again big thanks

Was really concerned having read the reviews… was absolutely pleasantly surprised… lovely rooms… hot showers…. Ideal location for Gatwick airport…. Very relaxing…… would absolutely recommend this hotel… especially when flying out of Gatwick… cheapest way to get here from the airport…… take the train to Crawley… then a taxi from Crawley station shouldn’t cost more than 8/9 uk pounds
