Spent two fantastic nights there. You can take bus no. 8 at the bus station near the railway station to Dali Ancient City. It’s 3Rmb and takes abt 1 hr. You can visit Shuan Lang Ancient town by taking a bus at the North bus terminal which is about 5km away and can reach there via didi for about 10rmb and takes about 2 hrs. There are many choice of food nearby the hotel and there are a lot of Muslim halal restaurants. So it’s suitable for Muslim friends.

What an extraordinary hotel. The best value for money I have stayed ever. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. All amenities were available, and the temperature was perfect inside the room. The ambience is futuristic, with an illuminated ceiling and AC + curtains which work on vocal commands. There are also numerous places for food around in the area- as it’s just a 5 minute walk from Dali train station.

We stayed at the Dali BoMan Sea View Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we didn’t expect it to be located in a condominium building, this added a sense of safety and privacy. The hotel is situated on the highest floor, offering breathtaking views from the room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room itself was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, even going the extra mile to offer us hot milk every evening—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Although the hotel is about a 30-minute ride from Dali Ancient City by Didi, it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for stunning views, a clean and comfortable stay, and attentive service. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.
