The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate. The staff were polite and accommodating as we did arrive earlier and managed to get a room and we were also very kindly and free of charge granted a later check out. The location is certainly central and there is easy access to public transport. However, this is not a boutique hotel, at least in the rooms themselves. While the communal areas looked nicely decorated and stylish, our room did not in the slightest meet the same standard. We stayed in room 336 and allow me to itemise a few maintenance items that need attending to: reading light not working as was damaged; side lamp only had the one bulb, tiles in bathroom about to come loose and clearly a lovely water stain by the air con vent. None of these impeded a comfortable sleep or an adequate stay, however they did make the room look tired and not worth its value. Ah and when got a call to the room we were unable to take said call as the phone cord came loose. We attempted to put it back but still the phone would not work. We were prepared for the room being small and it certainly was small and did the job, Lastly, If parking on site do be prepared for tight corners and bends. Anything larger than a Mini does require some manoeuvring and care, you may well come out of the parking with scratches on your side, as you will notice by the many scratches left by previous drivers on the walls.

Friendly staff that all spoke English. The location felt safe and was very quiet but still central. The room was nice enough and had enough space, and the hotel was comfortable with some artistic design. My room faced towards the direction of the old town but was silent at night, and quiet during the day even with the windows wide open. Plenty of hot water, but the towels were small and cheap. A coffee expresso machine in the room with coffee but no tea. The hotel looked a bit tired in places but nothing to worry about and repairs were ongoing. Unfortunately the advertised computer I needed was missing apparently broken. This was unacceptable and my only real complaint. No garden seating area. The breakfast was good with enough to choose from including hot food, but it finished early at 10:30. The English black tea wasn’t and was horrible, so British tea drinkers bring tea yourself. If passing I’d stay here again for sure.

I was quite happy with this hotel, although I'd agree with others than 4 stars is too high. The room was a decent size,clean and functional and for a change had a proper double bed, as opposed to two singles pushed together, which is what most hotels call a double. The breakfast was reasonably priced but wasn't very substantial - fresh and well displayed, but only boiled eggs on offer as hot food - no scrambled egg, bacon or sausages, and no yogurt, just bread, cheese, cold meats and cereals. After three days I'd have liked something other than boiled eggs.

Opzich redelijk net hotel. Echter, de kamer waar wij verbleven stonk enorm naar rioollucht. We hadden een flesje wijn gekocht en wilden deze in de koelkast leggen, maar deze zat onder de schimmel. Jammer. Verder prima, maar de lucht verpestte het wel een beetje. Overigens wel aangegeven bij het uitchecken en foto’s laten zien, helaas is hier niets mee gedaan.

Ich buche dieses Hotel nun schon einige Jahre in folge. Es liegt nahe des Hauptbahnhofs, somit auch perfekt für die Gäste die mit der Bahn anreisen. Das Hotel verfügt über eine eigen Tiefgarage, in der man als Gast der mit Auto anreist einen Parkplatz bekommt. Der ist allerdings kostenpflichtig. Wer aber in solche Städte reist, weis das überall Parkgebühren verlangt werden. Man findet selten solch ein ausnahmsloses freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück ist perfekt und immer bestens bestückt. Auch ein Lob an das Reinigungspersonal, auch hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Ja, die Bäder sind jetzt nicht riesig, aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Bedingt durch die Bahnhofsnähe ist alles sehr gut und schnell erreichbar. Wer gerne ein paar Schritte geht, kann auch vieles recht schnell Fußläufig erreichen.

We have booked the twin beds room - nice room with nice equipment,only thing is space a little bit tight for 2persons . Location is good ,time is limited for us to go around. Breakfast is more than plenty ,you really can enjoy it ... A gentleman is very helpful when we drove out of garage without the receipt,he came to us and did a help ,unfortunately didn't know his name . Will come back again for next stay here !

Location was great. Close to Dusseldorf and Mochengladbach. An U-Bahn stop right in front of the hotel. (On-site) Parking was not an issue. If you want to check in during off hours a phone call/email to the hotel, or self check-in at the front door of the hotel will do. Room was clean and quiet. Yes it's tiny but sufficient to a family of four in our case. While the name B&B suggests bed and breakfast, breakfast is not automatically included but can be purchased on site. We got yelled at because we did not purchase the breakfast in advance and walked in and prepared to eat. But wait! We can always pay for it (later) right? The staff covering the morning shift that day argued that people 'normally' pay first (so we can not pay later?!).... To be fair, the dining area was clean and welcoming, and foods were there. There were no signages saying that 'Please pay before sitting down' or 'Please wait here to be seated'. The bottom line is that there is no reason to yell at people, right? Just kindly put down a bill/check would yield a much better travel experience. How did the entire incidence end? We paid for the breakfast, but did not eat anything. We walked across the street and had our breakfast at the McDonald's. We did not want to eat in a bad mood with a rude staff.

SSitAs a short-stay hotel, everything is within my expectations. I made a mistake with the room booking, but the hotel would not allow me to move the dates forward by a day. I ended up making a second booking to fit my arrival date. As a result, I paid an extra day, which I did not stay, which is extremely costly. Trip.com did its best to help, which I was most grateful for. The hotel management definitely has something they have to worry about.

Rooms are old and not very clean, but very big size and beds are comfortable. Gym is tiny and doesn’t have many variables of machines. Food in restaurant is amazing! And very reasonable prices. I would recommend it for short stay

PPengguna TetamuL'hôtel est extrêmement excentré. Cela ne semblait pas être un problème à la réservation dans la mesure où l'hôtel est supposé être plutôt bien desservi par les transports. Cependant, l'hôtel déclare être à deux minutes du métro. Cette station est en effet présente, mais est la dérivation d'une ligne avoisinante. La station est fermée le soir et le dimanche et est désservie une fois toute les 30 minutes. Une autre station à 7 minutes de marche à pied dans un quartier d'affaire et désert le soir (et donc pas très sécurisant) s'impose donc la plupart du temps, et l'hôtel omet cette information de son site. De plus, cette autre station n'est désservie que toutes les 20 minutes. Comptez donc au moins une demi-heure pour rejoindre le centre-ville, ce qui réduit toute possibilité de repasser à l'hôtel pour se changer avant d'aller dîner par exemple. L'accueil est plutôt amical, mais la réceptionniste qui était présente pendant la quasi-totalité de mon séjour semblait de moins en moins sympathique lorsqu'on avait besoin d'elle. Par exemple, je ne parvenais pas à faire fonctionner le coffre-fort et visiblement elle non plus. Aucun mode d'emploi n'était mis à la disposition des clients ni du personnel semble-t-il. Une atre personne est venue voir si elle pouvait faire quelque chose et devait revenir vers moi, mais cela n'a jamais été le cas. J'ai donc dû me débrouiller moi-même. En attendant de trouver une solution le 2ème jour, j'ai dû confier certains de mes effets personnels à la réception afin qu'ils soient entreposés dans le coffre fort central. En raison de clients ayant fumé dans leur chambre d'après les membres du personnel de l'hôtel, le signal d'alarme à été automatiquement activé pendant la première nuit, et nous avons tous dû être évacués, dans la rue, avec une température de 10°C. Je dois dire que j'ai été impressionné par la réactivité du personnel qui à distribué des couvertures aux enfants et qui s'est montré à l'écoute des interrogations des clients en revenant dans l'hôtel. J'ajoute qu'ils semblait bien connaître et appliquer à la lettre un plan d'urgence. Le petit déjeuner était de belle qualité.

AAnneSohLocated in a quiet part of the city, with beautiful surroundings and beautiful paintings in every room (not just 1 but 5!) Spacious too, even for the triple room (which has a single bed added). Owned by a Chinese gentleman who speaks Mandarin, English and German (maybe more but I didn't get to find out). He was really helpful and gave us free transport cards. Overnight parking in the basement for 12euro per night which is reasonable considering how expensive parking fees are in the city. Most highly recommended!!!

PPengguna TetamuWould definitely recommend this hotel. All staff are very welcoming and the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is close to the airport and has an excellent transport link into Dusseldorf just outside the hotel. Having stayed many times we would never consider looking elsewhere. They have a lovely bar to relax in when you get back from all the wonderful sites and shops in the City and the bar staff are very friendly and attentive. You can't go wrong if you book into this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuDas a&o Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof befindet sich, wie der Name schon sagt, unweit des Düsseldorfer Hauptbahnhofes. Bei unserem Besuch war das Zimmer sauber und ruhig, sodass sich das Hotel in meinen Augen definitiv für einen Städtetripp eignet. Ich kann das Hotel also definitiv weiterempfehlen.
