We booked a queen bed room a month in advance and they gave us a twin room without notifying us in prior nor when we checked in. Upon enquiry they said “ we’re fully booked “. Their response seemed like we asked for an upgrade where as we asked what we booked for. I don’t understand how they cannot facilitate people by giving rooms what they booked and how do they keep it open for booking a month in advance if they don’t have it. Also the shower pressure wasn’t good, quite disappointed.

When we arrived after our flight, they had only booked 2 adults and didn’t book the children on. They hadn’t been informed by Trip.com that the children where booked on. Luckily they managed to sort this out for us. Hotel room was lovely. Breakfast also really good.

It's a nice hotel but, for the cost of it, could be better maintained. Our shower, for example, when turned on sprayed water out the top of the shower head because it wasn't connected correctly. This ensured the entire bathroom was wet (including the towels). The phone in the room wasn't connected, so ”room service” involved walking to reception, ordering, and taking it up ourselves. Beds were comfortable but the room was really warm even with the window open and the fan on. It's designed for central air but if it was installed there was no sign of a panel to turn it on. On the plus side, the staff were lovely and helpful, helping with luggage and with printing documents. the hotel is really close to the airport but next time I would look at other options, especially since the tram is so convenient from loads of places in Edinburgh.

Great location for nearby airport, gyle center and transport links to Edinburgh City. Check-in was a bit odd with a request to provide my email on a random invoice, No breakfast option offered at a saver rate. The noise from the air-conditioning and toilet waste bubbling and gargling throughout the night, kept me awake most of the night plus the light blinking a few times throughout. I have a long day of travel so it wasn't ideal to get a good rest. Bed comfy and all you need in a compact room. Friendly staff!

Good service staff, value for money as the hotel has full facilities like steam bath , sauna , indoor swimming and even gym rooms. That’s make our stay fruitful. Although the location a bit far from city centre but still easy to get into bus and tram to city.

It was great 2 night stay, very close to the airport, helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, we saw cute bunnies around the grass area, very close to a mall about 5-7 min walk. The only a little bit inconvenient was there was no Air conditioner, there was a huge fan which helped a little bit, but it could’ve been better if there was an A/C. But as they say most hotels in Edinburgh does not have AC because it’s always a pleasant weather. But there can be times (not all the time) a warmer weather comes and an AC would be good.

I am shocked to see the hotel with a 4-star rating on here. Everything about our experience was brilliant. We visited the hotel towards the end of March for a friends wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the drive in, the main reception building, the function room. A really special place to tie the knot. I think I can speak for most of the wedding party in saying the service was absolutely brilliant. All the staff were so attentive and really went above and beyond in catering to everybody’s needs. A special mention to Sofie and Johanna who were tending the bar. They really outdid themselves, professional and extremely pleasant throughout. I can’t imagine how hard it must be dealing with so many merry party goes but they did it with a smile and really went the extra mile and helped to make it a really great day. But thank you to everyone at the Dalmahoy, it was an amazing day.

Where do I begin, Norton House hosted mine and my partners wedding at the end of April and it was the best day of my life! Right from the start of planning, through to the execution of the day, the staff and venue pulled out all the stops to make it the best day ever for everyone involved! We have had nothing but compliments from all our guests over how amazing the staff were, how smoothly the day ran and the venue itself is a beautiful place to get married! The recommended supplier list that comes with planning a wedding here is top notch! Fully recommend Laura for all your planning needs, making sure everything is perfect and organised right up to the day of! Also Victoria for running our day and making sure everything was perfect, and even calming me down right before I walked down the aisle! The rest of the staff on the night were absolutely amazing and I cannot say enough to thank them all for making it the most special and magical day ever! ＜3

Tiba awal dan terpaksa menunggu di lounge selama satu setengah jam. Tempat letak kereta percuma adalah baik. Apabila kami sampai ke bilik kami, ia menyenangkan tetapi mendapati rambut besar di bilik mandi. Katilnya agak terlalu lembut tetapi secara keseluruhan ia adalah penginapan yang selesa dan saya akan mengesyorkan hotel ini. Kakitangannya profesional dan sangat membantu dengan nombor bas untuk ke Muzium Negara. Perhentian bas terletak betul-betul di luar hotel. Hotel ini juga betul-betul bersebelahan dengan zoo.
