To be honest it was pretty bad. Only resort staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. As for the resort itself, it’s well below expectations. The first room we’re given was absolutely horrible. The worst I stayed in my 2 months in Philippines. The next day I was transferred to a much better available room, but still very basic. This was during low season, so I assume it wouldn’t be possibly during high season.  Wouldn’t stay again sadly. Beach is not good for anything - just for looking. Keep in mind.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stunning Republic, and I can't recommend it enough for beach lovers! Located just 20 feet from the sandy shores, this hotel is perfect for anyone looking to soak up the sun and enjoy the ocean. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel at home. The check-in process was quick, and I was immediately captivated by the stunning view from my room. With a private balcony overlooking the beach, I could enjoy the sound of the waves and the salty breeze without even leaving my space. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, featuring modern amenities and cozy decor. One of the highlights of my trip was the easy access to the beach. It was just a short stroll down a charming path, allowing me to spend my days sunbathing, swimming, and exploring. Breakfast by the ocean was a standout, featuring fresh pastries and local fruits. Overall, this is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a beach getaway. The convenient location, friendly service, and quality accommodations make it an ideal choice for a relaxing vacation.

A Disappointing Stay in the Family Room Our recent stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, far from pleasant. We booked the family room, expecting comfort and cleanliness, but what we encountered was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment we stepped into the room, it was clear that the space was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The beds were an absolute letdown. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and the bedding looked worn out and neglected. It felt like we were sleeping on furniture that hadn’t been updated in decades. The air conditioning units were ancient and clearly hadn’t been serviced in years. They made strange noises and barely functioned, leaving the room either too hot or too cold. Just looking at them made me feel uneasy. The couch in the room was another low point. It was so old and unkempt that we couldn’t bring ourselves to sit on it. The fabric was faded, and the cushions were lumpy and worn. It was clear that it hadn’t been cared for in a long time. The mini fridge was completely non-functional and had visible signs of wear and neglect, with mold growing around the rubber seal. It was unusable and added to the overall sense of discomfort. The bathroom was perhaps the worst part of the experience. It was extremely outdated and showed no signs of proper upkeep. After showering, we didn’t feel refreshed at all—the fixtures were old, the tiles were cracked, and the overall state of the room was far from inviting. It was clear that no effort had been made to modernize or maintain the space. We were so put off by the conditions of the room that we even started looking for flights to another country just to get away from the hotel. The thought of spending another night in that environment was unbearable, and we were desperate to leave as soon as possible. The only positive aspect of our stay was the reception staff. They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind people. Their professionalism and warmth were a stark contrast to the condition of the room, and we truly appreciated their efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, this hotel fell far short of our expectations. The family room was in a shocking state of disrepair and neglect, and we would not recommend it to anyone. While the staff were wonderful, they couldn’t make up for the appalling conditions of the room. We hope the management takes immediate action to address these issues, as the current state of the accommodations is simply unacceptable.

The hotel was very nice, breakfast was decent. The beach is very nice, but the hotel didn’t seem to have beach chairs.

Bathrooms in the family room were disgusting. Showers had grime along the tiles, definitely not cleaned before we got in. Lots of dust in the windows and the floor wasn't clean either. No fresh towels provided the next day and I had to follow up to get toilet paper multiple times from staff.

The staff of the hotel is extremely polite, hospitable and friendly. We got upgraded to the Superior Suite with an ocean view as there were no more regular rooms left, and it was very pleasing. The view was amazing, breakfast was delicious and the hotel does also offer SPA services for reasonable prices, which I highly recommend to explore. Beach is 1 minute walk from the hotel, basically next to it and you can swim there. Downtown is a little bit far to go by walk, however if you take a tricycle, it will take about 5 minutes. A big concern that we had was ants. A lot of ants rushing near the trash bin. Also, a shower head was quite dirty. Shampoo was provided in a little plastic package of 5 ml maybe, which is barely enough for long hair ladies. Shower gel was not provided at all, only a tiny peace of soap, so I highly recommend to buy or bring your own hygiene products.

Amazing beach view in front and very friendly staff. They The area surrounding is less touristy then other locations in Palawan, although a bit out of the way. Highly recommend this hotel . Great place to relax

I booked Deluxe room and it did not disappoint me, the view was impeccable. We had a balcony in the room plus a really really good view, you can just chill out at the balcony overlooking the beach. The room has sofa inside and super spacious. The breakfast is plated tho. Too bad, there's no pool as stated om the website. But hey, they offer free kayak, so you can do some activity at the beach. There's a lowtide during morning. Location wise, if you do not want in a crowded place it is recvommendable. If you're a person who loves to party at night, it's just 5mins ride to the town where bars are situated. Overall, we had a nice stay! 👍😊

Total mismatch in price/quality. We stayed in the room for 5 nights, during this time the room was never cleaned, not even the trash was taken out. In addition to everything else, we lived in room 2, it is opposite the staff room, they simply took the chair from our balcony and did not bring it back, we had to constantly pick it up ourselves. The Internet was only available on the balcony, it was impossible to use the Internet in the room, and even mobile Internet was practically non-existent. The blades of the air conditioner are broken, so they are simply glued with tape. All the plumbing is in a sad state. The hair dryer stated in the description was not in the room. On the plus side - the water heater works, the sockets didn't suit us, they bought adapters for us, at breakfast you could ask to increase the portion a little, they didn't charge extra (there was an omelette from 1 egg, I asked to make it from 2, they met me halfway), very friendly staff, they offered us to leave our things at the reception before check-in and go for a walk. We bought excursions at the hotel - they gave us a cool mask for snorkeling. The location of the hotel is a separate song) There is a safe!)

The hotel is very tired. There were ants in our room. The only thing that saved us was that we took some ant repellent from home. The shower in the room was leaking and dripping at night. Very humid! Breakfast is included, but the cleanliness conditions in which it was prepared are questionable. Dirty dogs run around the hotel and sleep at night on the chairs where the guests eat in the morning. On the positive side: a great view of the ocean and location next to a pharmacy (shop).

Not a bad hotel on the first line. Has its own territory and beach (didn't swim). Breakfasts are normal. There are shops within walking distance. Tricycle to El Nido is 100 pesos.

The hotel is generally good, the location is not bad. The room was on the second floor with a balcony. The bed is good with a comfortable mattress. The breakfast is not bad, two options on the menu. It says there is a kettle in the room, but there was no kettle. There is a cooler with hot and cold water near the dining room, you can fill it with water. The bathroom is small, there was hot water. But the water pressure is not very good. There are shampoo bags, soap, toothbrushes. In general, this hotel can be recommended.
