Let us be straight forward, this is a reasonable hotel classified as 4 stars… but within the 4 star family, I would say that it is rather basic. This is what I think: POSITIVE POINTS: + Pay the extra few EURO… but make sure you get a room facing the sea. The views are fantastic. + Reception staff is well trained, and took care of everything quickly and professionally during check-in and check-out. + I am not sure if the hotel offers parking, but why pay extra for parking, when just around the corner from the hotel is free and ample parking in the street... A mere 50 meter walk + The restaurant offers GOOD quality food (more below) + Internet worked without flaws SO-SO POINTS: +/- The outside bar is not as nice as the pictures advertised… and worked limited hours. It does not serve bar-food… only very basic sandwiches… or food from the restaurant (expensive for a bar). +/- I mentioned above that the food was of GOOD quality… however, the choices are extremely limited to a few dishes. I know that you do not need a huge menu – but a little more choice would have been appreciated. +/- Mentioned above about the extra euro for the view… but I must say that for a FOUR star hotel, the room does not feel as inviting and warm as a hotel classed in this family should. NEGATIVE POINTS - I thought the breakfast options were extremely limited, and very basic for a FOUR star hotel. - I would recommend the cleaning staff to be more energetic at their job. NO… the hotel is not dirty, but needs improving. SUMMING UP: A FOUR star hotel… needs a little finesse… which is missing in this place. Although it is in a nice and quiet area, it is still a long walk away from GOOD restaurants.

Amazing location overlooking Tortosa. The approach road was narrow and steep and signposting wasn’t great. However they have a large car park right outside the hotel. The reception staff were lovely and spoke many languages, English included, so check in was easy and problem free. We had a really nice room, with balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the en-suite was spotless although I am not a lover of showers over the bath. The view from our room was amazing. We felt the restaurant was rather over priced and the food wasn’t to our taste, so we opted to eat in the bar area. The barman was lovely, couldn’t have been more accommodating and pleasant for the two nights we were there. Breakfast was included in our room rate and although there was a large selection of items, the room was stifling hot, that together with the surliness of some of the waiting staff meant we didn’t enjoy breakfast at all. We did have a nice stay but I’m not sure we would go again, the price was very high probably because of the location.

Lovely hotel/apartments. Very clean in all the main buildings. Lovely outside area, pool could do with clean. Mind you, it is March, so only the very brave or silly would go in it. The surround of the pool has a few sunbeds, but plenty of other seating. Beware, there are no kettles in the room, and none are held at reception. The coffee machine takes the little coffee canisters. Takes ages to try and make a cup of tea. We ended up using a pan to boil water for brews. A kettle in the room would be a good idea. Especially in the apartments. The bar is lovely, all staff are very friendly and will help where they can. We haven't tried the food yet, so I can not comment on that. Parking is underground with limited spaces. This is via side road on the right past the hotel. There is a petrol station across the road, a big supermarket and a LIDL nearby. They close 2100. We didn't see any open restaurants nearby apart the one in hotel. Loads of little extras in the room, toothbrush and paste, cotton wool pads and buds, razor (use at you own peril), shoe horn, shoe shine sponge and a little pack of cotton, needles and buttons.

Nos alojamos aquí porqué íbamos a visitar la zona, y nos gustó que estuviera en medio de la naturaleza y que tuviera piscina climatizada, ya que para la exterior empieza a refrescar. Pero para nuestra sorpresa resulta que dicha piscina interior no está incluida en el precio (son 8€ por persona y día extras, niñ@s también), aunque ni en su web ni en Booking lo especifica en ningún sitio (únicamente en un papel colgado en la puerta de acceso a lo que llaman spa, que es sólo esta piscina con 3 chorros y una cascada, porque el jakuzzi no funciona). De todos modos, pagamos para disfrutar de ese supuesto espacio de relax... Hasta que niños y mayores se colaban, haciendo alboroto, así que fue un poco frustrante. El complejo, a pesar que de día parece que el lugar vaya a ser tranquilo y silencioso, la verdad es que por la noche ha sido un desastre: perros ladrando, portazos, golpes, cachondeo, vecinos ruidosos, arrastrando muebles, follsndo y de juerga hasta las cinco de la madrugada... Y la persona de recepción no ha hecho nada cuando fuimos a quejarnos. Hemos dormido fatal– bueno, de hecho, casi no hemos dormido, vaya. Capítulo a parte merece también el cuidado en los detalles: habían pelos en la bañera, algo seco en la cortina del baño, una sabana con manchas, los botecitos de gel/champú estaban visiblemente rellenados/reutilizados, la ensalada de la comida tenía hojas podridas... Los jardines alrededor, que en su día fueron campo de golf, agraredecerian más cuidados, y es evidente que las instalaciones en general han visto tiempos mejores. El personal es bastante amable, pero están visiblemente sobrepasados por el trabajo. Lo mejor: el desayuno, aunque no coincidía exactamente con las fotos en Booking. Menos para mí, que como celíaca sólo tenía panecillos a mi disposición, nada más, al contrario del resto de clientes, que disponían de croissants, donuts, repostería diversa, cereales y panes variados– y todos pagamos 12€, claro... Resumiendo: una pésima experiencia.
