Hotel di Emmen

De hotelkamer (2e verdieping) was goed. Nieuw hotel en de kamers waren smaakvol ingericht. Ook de gangen met prachtig okergele kleuren. De badkamer was groot met een mooie inloopdouche, maar was erg karig aangekleed. Waar de kamer zo gezellig was, was de badkamer erg kil. De bedden waren echt prima, heerlijk geslapen. Maar de kamers zijn wel gehorig. De ligging is natuurlijk perfect! In het centrum, tegenover de ingang van de dierentuin. Onder het hotel een grote (niet dure) parkeergarage. Wij hebben geen ontbijt genomen, € 16.50 euro per persoon vinden wij echt te duur voor de hoeveelheid dat wij eten.

Beautiful hotel, very welcoming. The location on the edge of town was awesome for my usual late night walk, the neighbourhood is very cosy and quiet. The family room we stayed in was spacious and provided enough luxury. The beds were comfy and the bathroom with tub was clean and pretty. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant is really beautifully decorated. All in all a wonderful experience.

Kamer met balkon, vloerbedekking zit vol met vlekken logisch als er gegeten wordt op de kamers. Dienblad hoor je op de gang te zetten, gevolg is dat er hele dag vieze volle dienbladen op de gangen staan. Dit wordt niet goed weggeruimd. Ontbijt is gezien de corona regels niet goed geregeld, tip gebruik de hele eetzaal en zet alles ruimer uit elkaar. Nu stonden de mensen tot in de gang te wachten (en te mopperen) management is niet zichtbaar, 1 of 2 meisjes die steeds rondrennen omdat veel op is. Bruin brood was op, koffiezet apparaat gaf niet de juiste koffie, croissants op, fruit enz. Daardoor bleef de rij maar oplopen. Tip zet meer personeel in en blijf bijvullen en niet wachten tot iets op is. Laat mensen met volle dienbladen een andere route nemen en niet tussen de wachtende rij mensen laveren. Nog iets.. Er is geen zwembad of wellness aanwezig, dit wordt zo te zien gerenoveerd? Wordt dit vermeld op de website? Ik wens al het hotel personeel veel sterkte toe in deze corona tijd, zij doen hun stinkende best. Ik vermoed dat hier het management eens een goede schop onder de komt moet krijgen. Ga ervoor en wees trots op jullie mooie hotel.
