Trelawne Hotel

Lovely hotel with great views over the coastline. Hotel is warm and welcoming. Staff were all friendly and helpful. My room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was good size, high quality soaps and body wash products provided. Great power shower and hot water. Bar restaurant area bright and airy with lovely views. Breakfast super choice, great quality and service. Highly recommend I certainly be happy to return to the Trelawne.

A fabulous find and a real gem which I would thoroughly recommend. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The bar and lounge area was very spacious. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were most personable. There was ample parking and it was lovely to be in a quiet location and yet still convenient for Falmouth. Its proximity to Helford Passage and also Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens was an added bonus.

Lovely a**osphere and awesome location with views. EV charging with 2 bays was a bonus. Very clean and comfortable hotel with nice pleasant staff. My new favourite hotel when I visit the family in the area after a long trek. Look forward to visiting again.

Firstly the young lady who checked us in and the gentleman who checked us out were utterly lovely. The room had all we needed and despite having dated keys and decor not to our taste we would happily have scored this a 4. The view was stunning. Sadly this was all ruined by one staff member. I had left for work and my partner was in the foyer waiting for me to return. A woman approached her saying “did you stay in room xxx” to which she confirmed she had. She was then questioned as to why one side of the bed was wet. My partner apologised and explained she had spilt a bottle of water on it as she was packing the case (which could have been confirmed by the empty water bottle next to the bin). The staff member kept repeating “even the pillow is wet, are you sure it’s just water?” then proceeded to moan that a guest had wet that bed and they only just bought a new mattress for that room! My other half rightly pointed out a hotel should have mattress protectors and since it was 10:30am it would be dry by 3pm check in. My issue is implying it was anything but water (how on earth would it get on the pillow and mattress if it was what she was suggesting! That would have to be one hell of an accident!) She repeated “you sure it’s only water” several times. This was in front of other staff and was utterly embarrassing. Maybe we should have notified the desk at check out on the water spillage in hindsight but there was absolutely no need for the demeaning way this person spoke deliberately trying to embarrass. I’m also amazed a hotel doesn’t have mattress protectors. Thank you to everyone else who made the stay pleasant.

It's like being home away from home! The owner and staff went far and beyond to make everyone happy. It's a very stylish place with everything designed to bring comfort. Breakfast is excellent and an excellent selection ! The dinner at the restaurant was superb. There is a good selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room so we could have a nice tea in bed. We had a room with a sea view! What a joy to watch a sunrise over the sea! The bed is very comfortable! The garden around the house is spacious and almost manicured! Beautiful!!!

This has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in for comfort and cleanliness. It was immaculate, all the facilities were of a high standard, the views were great, the garden tranquil, the room was lovely and breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great range of choices. The nearby beach was quiet, clean and easily accessible.

Just returned from 3 lovely nights here, picked because of the great TA reviews and it certainly lived up to them. We paid the supplement for a sea view room and had a huge room, number 10, with 2 windows overlooking the sea, comfy king size bed, modern bathroom with powerful hot shower over the bath. We opted for half board as the food is so highly rated, and had superb 3 course meals, with plenty of choice on the menu. Breakfast is chosen the night before, which means no buffet and no waste, and again is freshly cooked and excellent. The whole place is clean, well furnished and stylish, the staff friendly, and we look forward to returning.

It’s a perfect place to unwind. The location is peaceful with expansive views over the coast and out to sea. The bedroom and public areas were spacious and high quality. The staff were lovely and so welcoming. Breakfast was really good (we can recommend the smashed avocado and poached egg). It was close to the south west coastal path which gave easy access to the cliff tops and beaches. We will definitely stay there again if we get the chance.

A lovely place to stay with friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable beds and nice clean and light rooms with sea views. It was great having a desk for work and the beautiful Glendurgan and Trebah gardens just 6 minutes drive away. A great breakfast, plenty of choice and gorgeous views from dining room. Travelling solo I found this hotel to be great value and look forward to returning with family in the future.
