Hotel Mesra keluarga di Melbourne

We booked a quick trip to Melbourne for the footy. Because it was only 1 night we booked only a basic king room, and I also wanted to avoid a noisy 09 room. Arrived at reception to be informed they had upgraded us to an 09 room. I told the check in agent I did not want that room, despite it being an upgrade, and would be quite happy with the original room booked. She insisted on contacting the manager and they eventually moved us to an executive suite. This was a large and comfortable room, excellent bathroom and shower and comfortable bed. We did not notice any loud noise from Swanston Street from this suite. Quick trip up to the club lounge for a few drinks and nibbles before footy. Drink selection improved since our last visit and now a selection of spirits is available. Club lounge has nice staff. Breakfast there in the morning was also good. The club lounge has very nice decor. Will be back for 3 nights in August so hopefully will be as enjoyable.

Excellent location. All branded shoppings & fine dinings are within walking distance. Hotel staff are extremely friendly & helpful. l would rate their service better than those from Park Hyatt Melbourne. Only complaint was the poor sound proof. l can hear noices from neighbouring room clearly. This is a let down that the hotel gotta look into it.

Unfortunately the hotel was in the middle of a construction site when we visited which made getting in and out by foot a little challenging at first. Staff are great and the facilities are also top notch.

I booked 10 nights at Pullman Albert Park, and got upgraded into privilege room. It was a pleasant stay. It shares the same facilities (restaurant, gym, pool etc) with Mercure, but it felt more like you're in Mercure than in Pullman. The hotel is a short tram trip to CBD. The tram stop is within walking distance, so it was convenient. I love that it is facing the Albert Park lake, such a vibe! The building is a bit old, but the room was still comfortable. The service was very good, everyone was really friendly. The only downside was that they looked understaff. I had to carry my own luggage when I left, and not many staff were present especially in the restaurant. But, everyone was very helpful! This hotel offers good value for longer stay. It's a perfect place if you want to explore more local activities such as: visiting the markets, exploring the surrounding (you can go to Royal Botanic, National Gallery of Victoria, Shrine of Remembrance), or going to the beach. Our first part of our experience was with Cameron from the Service Team. There was an issue in our room 0804 whereby the air conditioning was not functioning and blowing constant hot air ( over 25.5 degrees ) into the room. Cameron was promptly on the scene and explained what he was going to investigate however after a very warm night he himself made all the arrangements with Lisa on the front desk to move us to another identical type room 1304 and assisted us with the move. Cameron's attitude and proactive actions were first class. Well done Cameron. We were on a 4 night prepaid package however after 2 nights we received some distressing news in relation to a critically ill family member . I went down to reception in a very distressed state and spoke with Lisa on the Front Desk who was very empathetic and understanding and could not have been more supportive. Lisa then went and spoke to her Manager and returned and advised that I would be contacted by Luxury Escapes re the situation and our cutting short our holiday . As fortune would have it we were able to get flights back to Sydney that afternoon, got back to our home and off to the hospital to spend 45 minutes with our family member before they passed away. The empathy and personal approach taken by Lisa will remain with me forever at such a critical time in our life. Finally we received an email from Luxury Escapes which stated that Novotel Melbourne on Collins had refund half our prepaid fee and agreed to adjust the package to 2 nights instead of the original 4 nights. The hotel did not have to do that , especially considering the urgent exit we had to make so I thank the Hotel Manager Lisa spoke with as he/she has made that decision . We will be coming back to Melbourne when life gets back to normal and after our experience there is only 1 hotel we will consider staying in and that is Novotel Melbourne on Collins.

Stayed here as a Diamond Ambassador in an iconic suite - Check in experience was great, warm welcome, benefits acknowledged and welcome drink provided. Amazing room, ridiculous amount of space, comfortable bed, great little office/working area. Unfortunately, the general level of service/care factor is lacking especially when staying in a room costing over 1k a night! One of my complimentary water bottles was open/used and about half empty, yuck. Later that day I wanted to use my $25 credit on the minibar 200ml bottle of gin (which is listed as inclusive of 4 mixers). Gin was missing from the mini bar I couldn't find it. Called down to reception to ask if it was by request, they assured me it should be there and would send someone up. Waited 2 hours and no one came which frustrated me as I was waiting so called down again and was assured someone was on the way. Someone did arrive with a huge bag full of everything except the gin. When questioned didn't seem to know what I was talking about, I had to point to it on the minibar menu and was met with a very confused expression, he left. Then about 30 minutes later a different person arrives with the gin bottle, success. However upon checkout there were a bunch of mini bar items charged which I hadn't consumed, and in fact were not even missing. I hate having to have that conversation but after only 3 words they were ”happy to remove them” which makes me think this isn't an uncommon occurrence. I later noticed that the mixers were charged as well where as they should have been included with the gin purchase cost, but I couldn't be bothered wasting my time to try and sort it out. Club lounge service was attentive but did fill up and get quite busy in the evenings however my drink was always topped up and the staff there were friendly and engaging. Temperature control seems non-existent in the room and I'm convinced it makes no difference what you set it to. I had my do not disturb on until mid morning, so as I was leaving for the day dropped by reception and said I may have missed housekeeping and could they have someone make up the room. Arrived back a few hours later and it hadn't been done. All up a real mixed bag here, but can't help feel my simple requests were a bother and inconvenience.

I stayed for 3 nights from 30 May 2024. I've sent the email in advance and let them know that I will arrive there in the morning by the early flight. I didn't expect to be able to early check in, so I was going to ask them to keep my luggage. However, they prepared a room for check in early and it was a nice surprise that they provide me un upgraded room! My key didn't work at the lift, but the receptionist lady was very helpful and come with me to the room and swiped the key and checked the key worked in the room. The room was clean, spacious, two wide screen TV and modern and cozy atmosphere. I really relaxed to watch a good selection movie and I enjoyed T2 tea. The location was great. The Royal Arcade is just cross the road and I really enjoyed walking to grab coffee every morning around Little Burke Street and Flinders Lane where are just 5 minutes by walk. They arranged one delay check out, plus kept my luggage until the time of my flight. It was a great customer service. This is a small boutique hotel. However, it seems they try to provide a flexible service and meet the customer's need. Overall, it was very enjoyable stay!

Overall I had a great stay at this hotel. I would especially like to thank Swasti for her help with the check in. She was very friendly and helpful. I want to thank Richard (concierge) for all his help, including booking the excursions and the extra good tips he gave. The advice / tips regarding public transport have also helped me a lot. In addition, he was just nice and friendly. I would like to thank Vivi (and her colleagues in the kitchen) for the excellent breakfast that I enjoyed every day. This was (one of) the best breakfasts I've had in all my years of travelling. Extensive choices and the hot food was actually warm. Unfortunately have I often experienced the breakfast differently (cold/not warm). Finally, I would like to thank Linda for helping me a lot with the situation that my neighbor was smoking in his room! She really took the time to listen to me.

Wow this has now become my favourite place to stay when visiting Melbourne. Location is fantastic- I walked straight from the country train at Southern Cross across the road to the hotel. It also has the Bourke St tram right out the front of the side entrance, easy access into the Mall and shops. Short walk to Collins St tram so easy for the Theatre. And right across the road to the Spencer St Outlet with shops and food. My husband walked to the football at Marvel Stadium, so was happy with that. The staff (not matter where they worked) were all very friendly and helpful, so well done to the recruitment team on picking the right staff. The rooms (we stayed room 619) were clean and very comfortable. Shower fantastic. We loved the lobby area and the chocolate hour. The pool looked lovely and will use it next time. I really could not find a fault with this hotel and I have stayed in many, after a long career in Aviation. This will definitely be the hotel we stay when we come to Melbourne.

It was one of my best stays ever in city of Melbourne CBD location location is what you need for your stay close to all Theatres and amazing restaurants……excellent food in Harry’s dining and Bar …..breakfast amazing selection .The accommodation was  superb from the mattress to the pillows  well appointed room …stocked mini bar and free bottled water ….Parking was easy and accessible to the hotel this is one Hotel you must try without hesitation.
