見た目でだいぶ損をしているホテルだと思います。 あまりに賑やかすぎる外観ゆえに、変なホテルだと思われそうですが 内装は非常に清潔で、とても快適なホテルです。 共用スペースも広く、自動販売機もあって便利です。 他の宿泊者の方々の民度も高く、常識のあるしっかりした方が多いので 迷惑な滞在客によって不快な思いをすることもないでしょう。 フィレンツェ中心部のホテルは、とんでもなく高額だったり 価格に見合った設備とはいいがたいものが多いので 個人的には、移動時間を多少掛けたとしても このホテルを起点にした方がいいように感じました。

Best Western Plus CHC Florence has the best, friendliest, kindest employees, probably in the world. The breakfast is excellent, a buffet with great variety and service. The rooms are comfortable, well stocked, and very clean. The area is lively and convenient, has lots of choices for transportation, dining, and many businesses. It's about 5 minutes from the airport by car, and 2 stops by public transportation My mom happened to have an emergency while we were staying at BW for vacation, which forced me to extend my stay for 19 days. Even though the hotel was full, front desk staff accommodated me, and helped me in every way they could with tips, directions, everything I needed. Employees from the restaurant even took me out to dinner on my birthday. Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte ma posso dire che fin dall'inizio siamo stati accolti calorosamente;siamo arrivati alle 09 del mattino per lasciare solo le valigie e visitare Firenze,ma la stanza era già libera e ce l hanno consegnata. Camera pulita, completa di tutto, abbiamo notato che era molto recente come arredamenti, molto bella. Ci hanno dato sani consigli su dove andare a cenare ( consiglio rist l'amorino a Scandicci 3 minuti in auto dall'hotel). Al mattino colazione al TOP, dolce e salato con prodotti freschi e di qualità, il ciambellone era fatto in casa😋. Il signore che era alla colazione, gentile e sempre presente fin dalla sera precedente per qualsiasi dubbio o informazione. Dopo la colazione,abbiamo lasciato la camera ma ci hanno concesso di lasciare l'auto nel loro parcheggio privato fino al pomeriggio senza pagare alcun supplemento e così ci siamo spostati con i mezzi (fermata tram a circa 900 metri dall'hotel)

The rooms are awful. They are dirty, tiny and once again dirty. The lobby smells like worms. The rooms smell like humidity. The walls are not soundproof at all even when we are talking we can be heard to the nearby rooms. There are 5 outlets in total. Well only 2 of them work. One of them makes a noice like something is being fried and the others just does not work at all. The wifi is not working. One of the most important problems and it's not the last one. Some rooms don't have warm water and some others don't have water at all. On some doors the locks don't work which means that there is no privacy at all. There is hair on the hundred years old towels. The elevator is olso 100years old if you get stuck in there you are convicted to death. The sheets stink. What a wonderful experience .(not)

L'hotel si trova a brevissima distanza dalla stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Con una breve camminata si raggiunge il centro città e nelle immediate vicinanze si trova il mercato coperto all'interno del quale è possibile pranzare e cenare con prodotti tipici toscani. La camera è semplice, ma estremamente confortevole. La sala della colazione permette di avere un'ottima vista sulla cupola della chiesa di San Lorenzo e sulla cupola del Duomo. La colazione sia dolce che salata è ricca e abbondante. Possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio oltre l'ora del checkout.

Отель очень удобно расположен на улице магазинов. Очень чистый и современный. Из минусов: отопления нет! Только кондиционер (причём очень шумный, особенно ощущается ночью) на просьбу принести обогреватель обещали уточнить, но так со мной никто и не связался

good hotel for transit airport or just only 1 night trip. facility in hotel are litter older, but still enough for using

I am not writing this type of reviews often, but unfortunately this time I have to in order to reflect the reality about this hotel. Prior to this hotel we stayed at another hotel in Rome also 4-star that we really enjoyed (price level and distance from city center was similar). Firstly, I would like to point out that this hotel, even though it has 4 stars, cannot be considered to be a European-level 4-star hotel at all, at maximum a refurbished 3-star hotel. Given the price and its location, I would like to tell you straight, it is quite expensive for what you get, especially given the further circumstances described below. Secondly, I have not read many negative reviews regarding the noise level, but would like to shed some light on that. Even though we asked for a quiet room, we got the room facing the hotel parking and front road. I cannot say that there was a lot of noise from the road, but you could definitely hear cars from the road. But the biggest problem is the noise insultaion, or more precisely its complete absence. We could hear our neighbours talking in the other room like they were in our room. Our neighbours were awake until late night and we could hear them receiving messages while chatting on the phone and it seemed like the phone was vibrating each time near your ear. There was also noise from outside and other neighbours (it was partially not clear where it was coming from), so overall an awful experience also given the fact that each room has roller blinds and some people are using them at night and each time you can hear the mechanism working (it is quite loud). When people flush in other rooms, it sounds like it starts raining heavily. To sum up, insulation is really bad. Thirdly, the room was furbished at the level of refurbished 3-star hotel, the old hairdriers from the 20th century, only one card key, thus you cannot leave the AC on when you leave the room. Room was not ventilated at all once we arrived, so it was very hot to sleep and smell was not very pleasant. Breakfast at the level of 3-star hotel maximum and they do not let people finish their breakfast telling at 9:55am that you have to leave in 5 minutes since the breakfast time ends at 10am. As a cherry on the tart, when we were leaving we were told that the water in the room was not complimentary when we arrived, even though we did not found anywhere information with pricing of water in the room. When I asked where we could find price list for water in the room, as I belive it should be clearly placed in a visible spot, the person at reception firstly insulted us in Italian (not knowing that we speak Italian) and then just answered arrogantly ”it is in the room”, showing that he does not want to speak with us. Unbelievable and unacceptable behaviour from staff, you are paying them for being treated in such a manner... Overall, I understand that Florence is an expensive and crowded city, but in this instance when we unfortunately had only extremely negativ

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Villa Tolomei at the end of September, beginning of October and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We was blessed with exceptional weather for this time of year with temperatures breaking 30 degrees everyday and not a cloud in the sky. Upon arrival we was given our key to room 37 which is a large room in a building just next to the main reception, it was a large bedroom with a huge separate bathroom, which in all honesty, whilst clean, tidy, functional and with free toiletries, the space could have been better utilised, no complaints with either the bathroom or the bedroom though. As the hotel is on a hilltop outside of the resort, it is a 15-20 Euro taxi ride into Florence unless you want to walk up and down the steep road which takes about 30-40 mins depending on your own personal circumstance but given this, we had the most stunning view of Florence from the back of our room, the swimming pool and the restaurant. The swimming pool is perfect, don't listen to the moans about the odd tile needing replacing etc, it is a great size, the sunbeds are great and you receive free use of towels. On top of this, Daniel, pool man by the summer, bellboy in the winter, will look after your every needs, with beer (8 euros a bottle) and wine (free it seems around the pool) a plenty. As I said, we was lucky with the weather and also, the pool heating had been turned on the previous week as well. Breakfast in the hotel was very good, lots of choice, be that fruit juices, fruit, cold meats and cheeses, pastries, and hot food including bacon and eggs, plus I enjoyed a couple of lattes each morning which was a bonus, honestly I am not doing it justice. We ate in Florence for the first three nights of our stay, which I had booked in advance having done my TripAdvisor research and we was not disappointed with any of our meals. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the dinner in the restaurant at the hotel on our last night. We chose to eat in the restaurant as it was my wife's Birthday and our 30th Wedding Anniversary and without going into detail, the meal was the worse meal we had out of our four evening meals and the most expensive by far, almost double the other restaurants, and given there are hundreds of restaurants in Florence, I would suggest you do your homework before choosing where to eat. Florence is absolutely beautiful with so much to see and so much to do and everybody in Florence is very helpful and very pleasant, it was even a pleasure to shop in the markets and I am not a shopper at the best of times. My only real moan is that whilst the restaurant in the hotel recognised my wife's birthday by putting a candle in her desert, that was it, very underwhelming and quiet sad really, such a shame. That aside, I would definitely recommend Villa Tolomei and we will definitely stay there again in the future as we will definitely be coming back to Florence.

I can’t rave enough about our stay here at Riva Lofts! My husband and I absolutely love Florence & have been several times, but Riva Lofts gave us a new experience that was intimate, immersive and experiential. Our superior loft was the perfect size for us two, and breakfast served at the restaurant every morning was a great way to start our day (special shout-out to Giovanna for always being so sweet!). We took part in a private cooking class with chef Michele and we learned how to make a 4-course meal, including two pastas (we bought a pasta machine online after, if that’s any indication as to how much we enjoyed it). We dined at the on-site restaurant helmed by chef Michele multiple times and it was an elevated, fine dining experience in a nice, casual environment (so you didn’t have to dress up to the nines). We also booked a wine tour through the hotel that included a private driver, who brought us to two historic towns and two wineries. Finally, the location is out of the city center, but in a good way! We felt more like locals (although everyone at the hotel spoke English, but we did try to speak Italian which seemed appreciated!). Other recommended restaurants were about a 20-25 min walk, however, a tram that took you to the city center was easy to use and a short walk away (getting you to the Florence train station within minutes). Overall, it was a peaceful, romantic retreat with activities sprinkled in, wonderful public spaces (both indoor and outdoor) and the staff at Riva who couldn’t have been nicer. You won’t regret staying here!
