They advertise AC but you don't control it and it's set too warm (23c/73f). You can turn it on in 1-hour increments manually but it decides if you get AC or heat and there's no option for just a fan so if it turns on the heater when you're just looking for some air circulation, you just have to turn it off. You'll have 1 window and if you're facing the street (1/2 the building as it's on a corner), you'll be disturbed all night and very early each morning (lights outside, people rolling their suitcases all night and early morning arriving and departing, the buses, and the garbage truck comes at 7:45 am each morning). If you don't want to be disturbed by light and noise, you can close the window and curtains and stew in your own warm exhale instead. They don't change the sheets though they tidy the room every 3 days (I was there 2 wks in April). There are 2 tiny washers and 2 dryers in the basement. You have to pay 3 euro per wash and 2 euro per drying cycle. You'll need an app which won't work in the basement where the laundry is so you'll have to go upstairs each time you want to book the machine and then back down to start it. Overall, the rooms are nice, the showers are hot and high pressured, but I was just uncomfortable the entire time and would never stay here again.

We stayed for a night after a missed train connection. Booking was easy, the hotel can be reached easily with public transportation. The rooms are modern and comfortable, breakfast was good. The staff helpful and even sent me an item I had forgotten in the room.

Avendo fatto confusione con la mia prenotazione,mi hanno dato una camera ripostiglio lurida, nel seminterrato,con pezzi di vetro per terra. La via di fuga era una scala da piscina fissata a una finestra, le finestre erano a livello del terreno, il caldo era infernale. No aria condizionata, no phon come scritto nel sito. Nel corridoio ho visto fili elettrici scoperti, in un angolo della stanza ho trovato un mucchio di monete. In più la sala colazioni è inaccessibile, perché chiusa a chiave. Il personale comunica solo via telefono. Le foto del sito sono di 30 anni fa, l'hotel è decadente e gestito malissimo. Mi sono sentita a disagio per tutto il soggiorno. Mai più.

I was here for 3 days. A pleasant, small hotel located about 20 minutes' walk from the city center, 5 minutes from the botanical garden called Palmengarten and 10 minutes' walk from the Senckenberg Museum. The room was small, but clean, and had everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The maid cleaned the room every day. Free wifi. They accept credit cards and cash. Friendly and smiling staff. Very good breakfast.

I found this hotel to have a charismatic, slightly quirky atmosphere and the big room showed some signs of wear, but everything was nice and clean, the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Being located at walking distance from the convention center combined with decent prices makes this an easy hotel to recommend.
