Room is spacious with balcony. Outside the hotel, there are public buses going to Funchal center. It's also located in the shopping area with restaurants and supermarkets. You can sit at rooftop to have a sea view. Breakfast buffet is good. Airport is less than half hour on taxi.

Das Terasma Suite Hotel in Funchal, Portugal, beeindruckt trotz seiner geringen Größe mit einer ausgezeichneten Lage. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, und der Rooftop-Pool bietet eine angenehme Entspannung. Das Frühstück besticht durch eine Vielzahl von Früchten, allerdings könnte der im Keller gelegene Frühstücksraum die Atmosphäre etwas trüben. Insgesamt erhält das Hotel eine solide Bewertung von 8 von 10 Punkten.

Service and food was excellent, with beautiful ocean views and infinity pool. Pool table was good but not much activities at teen club. Steam room was out of service during our trip. Overall a good, relaxing break.

The hotel is in a good location and the sea view room which we reserved had a nice view of ocean. But, I need to mention that this hotel is not a 4 star hotel. The whole building is old and they kept it in an old fashion way. The bath is not good, they don't offer even water in daily service and neither tea. (which is expected from a four star hotel) The elevator is old and always full, really not suitable for an eleven floor building.

The hotel is very beautiful, and great location, BREAKFAST IS AMAZING - and the staff is very hospitable. Rodrigo on reception was very helpful-however we had builders outside our room, which was a bit annoying as you couldn’t go on the terrace. We called Tripp and they were very helpful.

The hotel facilities and location are amazing! The rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is good with many options. The only negative point is the lack of detail in the service. The y offer only one water bottle per room and charge for refill, they offer no vanity kit or sleepers. Emitem magnólia could be a top hotel in Madeira if they pay more attention to the details. Overall we had a good time anyway.

Отличный большой отель. Много немецких пенсионеров. Очень хорошее местоположение - на берегу океана, рядом большой торговый центр Форум и пляж Формоза. На 1 или 2 автобусе дорога до центра Фуншала занимает 12 минут. Завтраки очень разнообразные, но очереди за кофе после 8 утра. Проходят на этаже с потрясающим видом на океан, можно сидеть на улице. Не понравились бассейны - с красивым видом, но неглубокие, везде воды по пояс. Только для детей. Кондиционер работает только на охлаждение - в номере было холодно.

The hotel is in Lido area with plenty of restaurants and small super markets near by. Only 3 mins walk to bus top where can bring you to City Center €1.95 single one way and airport. €5 single one way, €8 return. Walking to City center is about 20-30mins. Only 10mins walk to Forum Madeira shopping mall. Breakfast is good with many choices of fruit, salad, yogurt, ham, eggs, bread, cereals. Indoor, outdoor pool and gym are nice too. We stay in sea and swimming pool view studio with kitchenette. The balcony is wonderful. Staffs are polite and patient. Only one con, no air conditioning in 31 degrees. Only have a ceiling fan.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Pestana Grand Hotel. Das Klientel der Gäste war 60+ ,was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Das Essen könnte etwas mehr gewürzt sein und nach einer Woche Halbpension war es genug. Die Matratzen waren anfangs echt weich aber ich habe dann doch gut geschlafen. Das Internet ist sehr schwach, aber irgendwie überall auf der Insel, zum Arbeiten nicht ausreichend m.E.. Alles in allem war es aber eine super erholsame Woche U d abends gab es fast immer Life music (für das ältere Semester:-) )

Nach mehreren Nächten stellt man natürlich das ein oder andere Manko fest. Für uns befindet sich jedoch alles insgesamt noch auf einem Niveau, wo es dem Stil angemessen scheint. Sehr stilvoll insgesamt und die Professionalität bzw der Umgang der meisten Angestellten mit den Gästen auf einer gelungenen Ebene. Man darf tatsächlich das P/L nicht außer Acht lassen. Nicht für jeden das richtige, doch selbst die Lage ist für uns ein super Kompromiss.
