It was the amazing place i have visited. Had a great welcome from front line staff. Room is perfect and had a great view. Dinner and breakfast was amazing and very tasty. Breakfast bufet had a wide selection of western and local food. I requested to arrange a birthday cake at the breakfast time and they were arranged a tasty cake with special birthday surprise. Overall can be give 10 out of 10.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay although in some respects it was inferior to other hotels I stayed in on the holiday. The pools were great and so was the view from the room. The room itself was alright - quite basic but sufficient. We did have problems with a leak in the ceiling which was promptly addressed by staff but still a little annoying. In general the staff were lovely: in particular Chamindu in the restaurant, a security guard who called me and my partner over to show us turtles on the beach (sorry, can't remember his name) and the guy working the sunloungers at the lower pool. The weakest part was probably the food. It wasn't bad exactly, it was just worse than the food in all the other hotels I stayed in.

バワ建築のインフィニティプールがステキなホテルです。お客さんはスリランカの方と思われる方が多かったです。新婚旅行のような方も多かったですが、家族やファミリー連れも意外と多かったです。 ホテルは少し古いものの、作りはしっかりしていて、水回りも問題ありませんでした。 レストラン以外のサービスはとてもよかったです。レストランはランチで頼んだものが30分以上かかって出てくる感じです。しかも少し冷めていました。 朝食のコーヒーもかなり時間がかかって出てきました。ハウスキーピングや受付周りの方はとてもよかったです。

Absolutely nice environment. We were picked up at the airport by a hotel's cab(arranged earlier).and waited for us to arrive at midnight. Lovely and warming welcome from mr.jhon at the reception. All 3 nights we spent there and he was making sure we're getting everything as we need..really loved the hospitality we have received. All staff is extremely friendly. They play local cricket with kids.having remarkable evenings with joy. I would go there again for sure if I'm on vacation to south part of sri lanka.

What a fantastic place! It’s a beautiful old house with spacious comfortable rooms, an amazing collection of furniture, artwork, old prints and photos, as well as an extensive and eclectic library. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. I needed to see a doctor : in discussion, we decided it would be both cheaper and quicker for me to go to the outpatients at Asiri private hospital- they offered to accompany me. In fact, I went alone and it was a very easy, efficient, and cheap process- much more so than getting care in that situation in New Zealand. There is a pool, the best we enjoyed in Sri Lanka. The food is great and generous serves. We were very happy to have stayed there rather than the centre of Galle: it is in a quiet, peaceful area, and a reasonable walk or a short tuk tuk ride from the historic centre. We couldn’t have had a better experience.

We stayed here for 10 nights and had a great experience. What a lovely little Hotel, with excellent staff, a special mention to Kevin and also Beauntie (sorry if spelt wrong )they saw to all our needs Kevin is a gem . All the staff were great, always smiling and happy to say hello when they met you daily. The guy that seen to the beach beds was great. also he always managed to find you a great spot on the beach. Not forgetting the guy that seen to my pre-bed cocktails each night. We had a superior room looking out towards the beach on the ground floor. It was lovely . Any small Repairs that had to be seen to there was no wait involved. After reporting the issues to reception , the lady on reception was very helpful and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed barbecue night which was on a Friday. The food was amazing. Breakfast was also good too You would never leave hungry. The seafood was lovely also. You could use the pool at the other hotel just ask reception and they will send a buggy for you. It will take you there and back free. The only downsides I would mention is the taxi that took us to the airport the driver was falling asleep and had to stop to get a wash and a coffee we had still an hour and a half to go he just left us sitting in the car but this was not the hotels fault, it was scary as he was texting and eating and was all over the road when he continued, not the fault of the hotel . Also, the loud music from the hotels on each side of ours was horrendous so loud. This was out of our hotels control. Unfortunately one morning it went on till 4.30am the morning mostly 2 am at the earliest once again, not our hotels fault . The only other problem we had was the security guard nightwatchman asked us for money on several occasions, we tipped most of the staff but never gave him anything as it’s not good to ask. Sri Lanka is a lovely place and the Hotel we stayed in was amazing in every way , it’s just a shame that the area has been taken over by a lot of tourists from one county in particular 80-90% which is such a shame hardly anyone from the UK .

Hotel is contemporary design just outside the fort area 15m walk great pool overlooking the ocean if it was not so rocky they would have their own beach rooms are very large some with a plunge pool excellent breakfast great choices veg if you prefer the staff are polite and will do anything to help if you like the old colonial style stay in the fort wall's

It's hard to know where to start with this review. From the moment we booked the general manager sent me a personalised message. We arrived greeted by a refreshing cold towel and a tour of this beautiful hotel. We booked the grand suite for 8 nights and 9n entering it exceeded my expectations. The room is huge tastefully decorated spotlessly clean. The bathroom is beautiful and there is even a small kitchen area. The veranda overlooking the pool was a gret place to have our morning coffee. The grounds make you feel like you are in a tropical rain forest and the pool and separate jacuzzi are lovely. Breakfast was a delight and they adapted every morning to our tastes. All of the staff are amazing and friendly. And the general manager is so lovely greeting us personally every morning asking about our stay and if there is anything they can do for us. All the staff were a credit to this beautiful place. Ps the private beach is stunning feels like your on a tropical island. I wish our stay was not ending tomorrow. Would not hesitate to come back. We were booked at another hotel within Galle Fort which told us they had double booked and there was no room for us for one night - so The Heritage was our second choice. We liked the place so much we cancelled the first hotel we had booked and stayed at The Heritage for our entire holiday. Its a quiet, clean, spacious hotel with wonderfully warm and friendly staff. Our room was large with probably the largest bed we had ever slept on and the bathroom was also spacious. We loved the huge veranda with comfy lounge chairs, a perfect place for reading and chilling. On site free parking is a huge bonus for a hotel inside the Fort. The food is very good and the Sri Lankan coffee is excellent. The lovely garden with Araliya trees next to the dining area is very relaxing. The spa is small but the therapists are excellent and the prices are reasonable. We had to check out early and the staff were very accommodating, making sure we had an excellent early breakfast before departure. The location of the hotel is great, very central to many restaurants, shops, the ramparts and all the other attractions of the beautiful Galle Fort. We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel and we will definitely be back.
