The Excelsior le Terrazze is a lovely hotel. The decor is modern and fresh and our room had everything we needed. Everything was clean. The food is amazing!! The staff were attentive at meal times but service at the bar on the evenings wasn’t the best.

Italy: Garda, Malcesine, Limone... pick any of these and many other places that surround this beautiful lake and you'll find great food and atmosphere. We picked this small hotel in Garda via TUI and found it just right for us: great food, good service, nice stylish air-conditioned rooms with lake views, good pool, close to Garda Centre; just a ten minute walk to shops and ferry service. Only down side was the location adjacent to a busy main road; safe but noisy at times... Quiet at night.

Previous comments led me to have a high expectation which was not fully met. This hotel attracts an older crowd so the pace is quite low key. The location is mere 5 minute walk from the ferry point but a 10 minute walk from bars and restaurants and a 15 minute walk from the bus station. Pool is great with adequate loungers and pool towels. Reception staff are friendly and helpful but lack knowledge of the wider area. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned to a good standard. Shower cabinets are quite small and the towels could be much thicker. Beds large and comfortable. Side balconies are small but those to the front of the hotel are very good. Breakfast continental items are varied and of good quality but hot items were only average. Dinner is plentiful and varied but soups were poor and most main dishes lacked accompanying vegetables apart from a few cubes of potatoes.Staff in the restaurant were efficient and friendly so long as you were buying the slightly overpriced drinks. All in all this not a bad choice and I would return but perhaps only on a bed and breakfast basis.

My wife and I have just returned after spending a week in Garda. The Hotel Excellior was outstanding in all aspects, the staff were very helpful,polite and friendly, the breakfast and evening meal were of the highest quality. The room was well furnished with a good view over the lake. Location of the property is also very good being only 5 minutes from the ferry terminal and 10 minutes from the town centre. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

A great hotel that we have been to 4/5 times however struggled with hard bed and concrete pillows that need renewing. We would love to return but not sure if we can face the sleepless nights and bad backs due to the beds. Vito in particular was excellent though the rest of the staff were not quite as friendly as in the past.

Beautiful hotel immaculately clean and very well run with friendly efficient staff in a lovely location. The hotel is not far from the ferry pier which gives access to all the other great locations on Lake Garda I highly recommended staying in this special hotel as this was our second visit and we will definitely be returning.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Excelsior Hotel. The pool area was stunning, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, making our visit truly enjoyable. Our room was impeccably cleaned every day, which we appreciated and the breakfast was amazing. There was ample parking available, and the hotel's location by the lake was perfect. The town offered fantastic restaurants and a serene atmosphere, making our stay even more delightful.

The rooms were well-equipped and the maid service was excellent. We enjoyed the food both at breakfast and dinner. There was ample room around the pool to relax overlooking the lake. All the staff were friendly and courteous. We both enjoyed our holiday with you so much we intend to return.

Our third visit to Garda and our third stay at The Excelsior. Not quite sure how it’s possible but it has improved on what was previously perfection! Every member of staff is so friendly and can’t do enough to help you enjoy your stay. The restaurant serves the most exquisite food and the breakfast buffet offers everything you could wish for. The rooms are cleaned every day with new towels provided and have all the usual things you’d expect - tea, coffee, safe, fridge, hairdryer, laundry service and beautiful soaps, shower gels, hand wash and moisturisers. The hotel has a great swimming pool with plenty of sun beds and clean towels available for use in the pool area. The hotel is ideally located just a 5 minute walk from the Garda ferry terminal for trips all over the lake. We honestly could not fault the Excelsior in any way and are already looking forward to returning in the future.
