Clarion Hotel & Congress Oslo Airport is a conference hotel located just a few minutes drive from the terminal at Oslo Airport. There is a shuttle bus between the hotel and the terminal for a fee. The hotel staff appeared friendly but a bit reserved and I missed some more interest and commitment for me as a guest both at check-in and check-out. The same went for the staff in the restaurant. The guest room was equipped with a minibar, flat screen TV and an armchair, but I missed a work desk. The bed had clean and freshly ironed linen and the mattress was comfortable and in good condition. The cleanliness and the maintenance of the room was good. The bathroom appeared clean and inviting, with dispensers with products from Rituals which helped to lift the overall impression. The hotel's common areas could have been somewhat cleaner and there were some signs of poor maintenance. The selection in the restaurant was very limited, but it was stated that the menu would be expanded with more dishes when the hotel was back in full operation after the Christmas and New Year celebrations. I also missed the opportunity to order room service and menus or QR code for the menu in the guest room. Breakfast was served as a buffet and had a rich selection of both hot and cold dishes. However, the selection is not particularly excellent and better breakfasts are served at other nearby hotels. The staff in the breakfast room seemed friendly, but even here I missed more commitment and enthusiasm for the guests. There was free working wireless internet throughout the hotel.

This hotel was clean,comfortable and convenient. The shuttle from the airport picks you up and drops you off right in front of the hotel. We had an easy time checking in and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food is good.

Great location and only 5 minutes walk from airport. The receptionist is very helpful and allow me early check-in at 9:30 am. The bed is to my liking and I sleep very well. The breakfast buffet is delicious.

Some misfortune and issues. Booking of a superior room for 1 adult and 2 kids on trip.com with king size bed, they said. Flight scheduled on sunday around 8h something When entering the room 4016, very far from the lift, there was only 2 single beds and a sofa not prepared. The front desk moved us to 4440, very close to the lift, family room, clean except some Stains on the kids mattress (the one on the upstairs bunk bed), no kettle for tea.....no king size bed and very noisy (kids from the side or anywhere but you Can hear jumping, the voices....until midnight) and noise from the airplanes. But the breakfast could change everything....but on a sunday, before 07h, there is a pre breakfast, but nothing hot meal like eggs and bacon. It was good quality and sufficient for me, but not exceptional like in an other nearby hôtel in the same Timing conditions. Even After 07h00, hot meal would have been better but not exceptional like..... 7/10 for the rate, a little bit disappointed and 6,5/10 for the breakfast. Das Frühstück ist das Highlight in diesem Hotel, unglaublich gut und die Auswahl mehr als ausreichend. Die Zimmer könnten klimatisiert sein, das trifft wahrscheinlich in Norwegen eher nur auf wenige Wochen zu. Die Betten sind gut, die Zimmer ausreichen ausgestattet. Ich hätte mir eine Art Pantoffeln gewünscht, da ich Teppichboden nicht so gerne Barfuss in Hotels begehe. Vielleicht kann man da nachbessern.

Such a cute, clean, and convenient hotel! Breakfast had a huge array and the front desk was helpful with anything I needed. 7 minutes from the hotel and super convenient shuttle to and from the airport!!

Located near the airport so convenient for those not going far. Absolutely nothing else nearby. Except Macdonald Hotel offers unlimited espresso coffee and tea so thumbs up! Bar and restaurant available at hotel but no public work area. Loud music at 3am. But that’s guest problem not hotel management ~ Must say best breakfast so far in all the hotels I’ve stayed at this trip in Europe.

I needed to be in a few meetings in Oslo and had to fly in and fly out so the airport location was perfect and the reliable train connection to get to the city from the airport. Its a convenient short walk from the terminal. You can take your trolley if you wish. My most memorable feature was the large, outsized fitness center. A lot of airline staff seem to stay here. Hotel also gave the flexibility to extend my stay (paying) by half day. I needed to do a few meetings late in the afternoon before my flight and it was not something I wanted to do from the airport.

We booked this B&B for one night as we had another flight out of Gardermoen airport the next day. It’s super close to the airport and very easy to arrange the transfer to and from the airport - the kind staff can come and get you in a yellow minibus for a small fee per person! The room was comfortable and quiet with a clean en-suite bathroom. The breakfast had an average choice but was free so cannot complain! We also had dinner at the B&B that evening - the menu is small but the meals very good. Would definitely recommend this little place if you’re looking for a good value short stay near to the airport.
