Un très ancien et historique ryokan, construit en pleine foret, vraiment magnifique. Tout était bien rien à redire, bus la gare, réception rapide et efficace, chambre avec vue magnifique sur le jardin, repas très bon servis en chambre et les bain son pas mal . ps. Ne pas venir ici si vous recherchez le luxe d'un hôtel 5 étoiles, vous serez déçus , mais si vous recherchez un endroit magnifique, ancien mais authentique, alors se sera que du bonheur.

The hotel is settled in the middle of Gero Hot Spring town, short walk from the train station and can also be reached via bus from Kamikochi area. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. You can feel the spirit of older times in this hotel with a lot of beautifully selected decoration pieces. The manager showed us around and even offered us a new room since I accidentally booked one without shower (we declined that offer since we only wanted to stay for one night). That’s why we used the Onsen area for showering which is beautiful and includes all amenities. View above Gero and including an outside Onsen area to watch the sunrise. The staff was very friendly, the manager even drove us to the bus station since we forgot our jackets in the bus. The bar is well-equipped and a great place for a drink or two. One of the best parts was the breakfast. Never had such a good Japanese breakfast before- delicious, served in a private room, beautifully arranged. Next time we want to try their dinner :-) We felt like family and I can recommend anyone going to Gero to stay at this great hotel! Thanks again for your hospitality!

県民割を利用しての宿泊でした。 事前に電話で申告もしていたのでチェックイン手続き、県民割の申請共に非常にスムーズでした。 館内案内は外国籍のスタッフさんで、言葉の壁はあれど、必要事項は全て説明していただけてわかりやすかったです。 併せてチェックイン時にいただいたインフォメーションに各大浴場への行き方もわかりやすく記載されていて迷うことなく、3つの大浴場全て利用できました。 夕食をどれにするか非常に悩みましたが、小川屋さんは初めての利用だったため、スタンダードな会席にしましたが正解でした。個室宴会場でゆったり食事がとれ、量も味も満足です。 夕食の係の方も外国籍の方でしたが、案内の方同様丁寧でとてもよかったです。 朝食ブッフェも7:00過ぎに利用したためとくに混み合うこともなく、席も眺望が良くゆったりできました。 バルコニーに露天風呂付きのタイプでしたので、部屋での滞在も非常にリラックスできおすすめです。 全くもって不自由のない滞在になりました。 同行者もとても気に入っていて下呂に行く際はまた伺いたいと思います。

Excellent location near the JR station. We stayed in a room with 3 western bed. Room was clean, spacious and the condition was very good. There were 2 sitting areas in our room, one with chairs and the other on the tatami with heated blanket. The onsen was good and not very crowded. We stayed one night and was able to try all 3 public onsens. The hotel has a system which allowed guests to check crowd condition of the onsens so that we could choose to visit when they were less crowded. At check in, an employee escorted us to the room and gave us an orientation to all the locations in the hotel and our room. He explained clearly how we could utilize the facilities and the system to check onsen conditions. Employees were generally knowledgeable and friendly. We managed to book the half boarding package which saved us a lot of trouble as we didn’t find many dinning choices in the town. However, only reason why I did not rate this hotel a 5 is because of the dinning experience. I feel that the food quality could be improved. The buffet breakfast was mediocre and quality of food for the set dinner could be better. This place is definitely worth a visit with its good location, good rooms and great service.

ブロック割を利用し平日利用。 色々特典付きのプランで宿泊。 車はスタッフの方が移動してくれます。 部屋までの案内もあり。 特典の色浴衣も傷んでおらず種類もありました。 お部屋も広く清潔。 夕飯は部屋食で満足。 朝食は残念。 大浴場は混雑もなく快適でした。 スタッフの方もいい感じ。 外国籍の方も日本語ばっちりでした。 リーズナブルで満足な滞在でした。 しかし休前日等、混雑した場合は厳しいかもです。

shuttle bus sadly only available after 230pm for check in, so I had to drag luggage to hotel (800m away from station) during noon. private onsen only available once during stay, wish I could book at least twice. hida kaiseki was average. all staff are excellent. room is a bit old but spacious. had a small souvenir shop at lobby too.

高山線で15:15に下呂に着いたら他の旅館からは出迎えがいましたが当旅館はいませんでした。歩いて下呂プリンまで来たら背後の斜面に「湯快リゾート」の看板が見えたの事前に調べた場所と違うと思いましたがそちらへ向かいました。どこが入口かわかりません。そのうち湯快リゾートの看板を見つけ下方に位置してることがわかつたのでそちらへ向いました。１階は駐車場でエレベータはありません。階段で２階へ上がると玄関があります。フロントで説明を受けると地域クーポン券1000円を受け取ります。浴室は屋内と露天の２か所で貼ってある紙に30分単位で入浴時間を書き込むようになています。男女別入浴なので気が進みませんが男湯に入ることにします。徒歩とエレベータで自分で荷物を持って部屋に向かいます。浴衣・作務衣を陳列して自分で選びます。新聞はありません。売店があります。部屋に向かう途中にパソコンコーナがあり、漫画コーナもあります。男組・おーい竜馬があります。部屋のドアのカギはノブの突き出てる部分を押すだけでチエーンもありません。扉の向こうに洗面所、トイレがあります。部屋の照明のスイッチの位置は入り口付近にあります。テーブルに急須・湯呑・白川茶のテイーバッグ1袋。菓子はありません。説明文を読むと駅・本館とのあいだに送迎車が走ってるようですが夜間はありません。早朝もありません。本館の浴場も利用できるそうですが男女別なのでわざわざ行くほどもないと思いました。タオルは洗面所になくて開き戸にあります。ベランダに冷蔵庫があります。電気ポツトがあります。露天風呂は階上でゴルフ場みたいなところを歩きます。鍵付きロッカーにキーを入れます。洗い場があります。周囲の景色は望めません。チエックアウトの精算はキーを画面に近づけると請求金額がでます。

The receptionist at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, with English speaking staff. The room is unexpectedly amazing even staying as solo, but you get a room with a maximum capacity of 3 person! The view from hotel room is superb especially with snowing! Highly recommended for all types of travellers!

建物の作りが面白く階段状になっている。多分もともとの敷地が斜面なので、こういう作りになっているのだと思う。またエレベータがケーブルカーみたいに斜めに上がっていく作りでおもしろい。ただし２台しかなく遅いのでなかなか来ない。せっかちな人は階段が必須だが、階段も広々しているので、個人的には意外と苦にならなかったが人によっては気になると思う。建物は古いが全体としてはまずまず綺麗に維持されていると思う。 部屋もまずまずだが、冷蔵庫が昔の有料仕様で缶とかしか入らない。流石になんとかして欲しい。 夕食はコースにもよると思うが飛騨牛、寿司/刺し身、デザート、お酒なども飲み放題でバラエティもありまあ満足できる内容だった。朝食はブッフェだが普通。 温泉はアルカリ泉でぬるぬるする。好みによるが若干ぬるめでずっと入っていられる。２Fと８Fにあり、８Fのほうが新しく露天になっているので、おすすめ。

良かった点 · ★チェックイン 細やかな対応で、気分良くチェックインすることができた。 コロナの中で、頑張っておられるフロントマン、ホテルマンの方々に感謝です。 ★部屋 思っていたとおりの和室で、窓からの景色もよかった。 ・冷蔵庫 ・金庫 ・液晶テレビ ・湯沸かしポット ・トイレ ・洗面所 が、ありました。 ★レストラン 夕食も、朝食も2階のレストランでいただきました。 窓際の席は、夜景がきれいですね。 18時前に行かないと、座れない感じです。 食事は、夜、朝ともにバイキング形式でした。 コロナ対策のため、料理を取りに行くときは、マスクと使い捨て手袋の着用が必須です。 和食中心の料理で、とてもおいしくいただきました。 寿司や飛騨牛ステーキもありました。 ★温泉 体の芯から温まりました。 外湯がなかったのが、少し残念です。 良くなかった点 · ★駐車場への階段 階段が非常に急で、荷物をもっていると怖いくらいです。 雨でぬれた階段は滑りやすく、そう少し何とかならないでしょうか？
