Going to the Royal Concert Hall so booked this hotel, from the outside lt looks pretty grotty, rubbish at entrance, a bit concerned. But on entry found the staff especially Antonia very helpful The room was basic but adequate with a view of the back lane, plenty of hot water and quiet. The breakie included in price was good, obviously not the Kimpton but you get what you pay for. As we had. Travelled by bus it was minutes. From the station, also minutes from the Concert Hall Next time we have a concert there we'll choose this HIE

From the moment we arrived in Glasgow the staff were extremely helpful and checked our bags early and helped us through the check in process so we would only need to provide a name when checking in at 3pm. Our room was ready on time and Caitlin at reception took our booking for breakfast and provided us with great information on different things we could do in Glasgow. We visited Pollochshaw Park and the Burrell collection o her recommendation and spent nearly 4 hours there petting the cows and walking around the fantastic woodlands. The breakfast was fantastic and the servers i the bar were friendly and professional. The room was clean and small touches such as air con in room on a hot week and the choice of firm or soft pillows really made our experience in Glasgow better than we ever imagined it could be.

I recently stayed at the Moxy Hotel in Glasgow and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the hotel's trendy and vibrant atmosphere. The lobby is stylishly decorated with a modern, playful vibe that immediately made me feel welcome.
**Room:**
The room was compact but very well-designed, maximizing space and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the high-quality linens. The quirky decor added a fun touch, and the smart TV with streaming options was a nice addition. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, with a great shower.
**Service:**
The staff at Moxy Glasgow were friendly and efficient. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the team was always available to answer questions and provide recommendations for local attractions and dining.
**Amenities:**
The hotel's amenities are impressive for its price point. The bar and lounge area were lively and a great place to unwind with a drink. The 24/7 grab-and-go food station was convenient for late-night snacks. Although the hotel doesn't have a full-service restaurant, there are plenty of dining options nearby.
**Location:**
Moxy Glasgow is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. It's close to public transportation, shopping areas, and major attractions, which made getting around very convenient.
**Overall:**
Moxy Hotel Glasgow is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a stylish, comfortable, and affordable stay in the heart of the city. The unique design, friendly service, and great location make it a standout option. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Due to a flight diversion, I unexpectedly arrived in Glasgow at 1am. Quickly, it became clear that the large convention in the city meant that hotel availability was going to be a real problem. After several failed attempts to find a room, I arrived at the Courtyard and Javier from the from the front desk kindly let me in (door was shut as it was 2am by now) and found me a very comfortable room. He was very understanding of the travel challenges I was experiencing and checked me in quickly and efficiently and gave me a complimentary bottle of water. The room was modern and bed extremely comfortable. There were a lot of well positioned plug and USB sockets. Great shower and amenities. This is a great hotel and Javier is a credit to the Marriott brand.

Perfect hotel! Nice, modern design. Extremely clean and good facilities in the room. The location is ideal. You're close to central train station and you're also nearby many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops, a ****** and St Enoch Shopping centre. The staff are very attentive to your needs and the communal areas on the ground floor are in good condition. This will definitely be my go-to hotel when I visit Glasgow!

Thank you to the staff, as a solo traveller I was quite nervous but I felt so safe. Check in was smooth and friendly. The hotel is clean, stylish and smart. You need your room key to use the lifts so I felt so safe going to my room. I stayed in a double room and it was so spacious! Everything was tidy and well placed. Even though there was a fun fair on the next street it didn’t really bother me when I shut the window. It was my first time staying in an apart-hotel and I would definitely recommend! I didn’t know that having ice in the freezer and cutlery would make me so happy haha. I could chill my water and have a lovely meal in my room without having to fork out for a more expensive takeaway. I used the Tesco express down the street to get myself fresh food. The bathroom had a lovely heated towel Rail too so I had the warmest, fluffiest towel! Down in the lobby they have a Brita water filter, board games, extra kitchen equipment and food and drink. Will certainly return if I ever visit Glasgow again!

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel around 8 times and absolutely loved it. Beautiful modern comfy rooms, lovely bar area and the best ever showers! We have always experienced first class service from lovely staff. This unfortunately came to an end when we checked in last month. There was one really lovely young lady at reception as we arrived but she was caught up with another guest sorting out a problem with the TV remote control. I believe this girl summoned another staff member to come out from the office to deal with us. Out she came, never said hello, no eye contact infact was cold, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I'm guessing she was not happy at being called out of the office. So, with a cold and hostile attitude, we were checked in and given keys. As we always requested a downstairs room, I noticed our room was upstairs. I asked if there were no downstairs rooms, and we had requested this. She said”yes so I see,” and said no, there aren't any . So would you not think that when checking someone in who had requested a downstairs room, you would at least acknowledge this. Unfortunately, this has put me off returning and we have been staying at a different hotel. It's such a shame when the hotel is lovely and that one ”huffy” receptionist can ruin everyone else's hard work.

PPengguna TetamuOn arrival, we were welcomed by a lovely man at reception. He was friendly, informative and had us checked in quickly and efficiently. Our room was fresh, bright, clean, had a very comfortable super king sized bed and a large bathroom with a fantastic shower. There was a fridge with bottled water, biscuits, a coffee machine including a large selection of teas and coffees. Overall, were delighted with our lovely room and look forward to another stay at Hotel Indigo the next time we are in Glasgow.
PPengguna TetamuThe breakfast in the hotel is very abundant, the bed is very comfortable, the room is clean and tidy, the geographical location is very good, and the staff's service attitude is very good. Worth recommending! I am really satisfied. If I come to Glasgow, I will continue to choose to stay here. Thank you for managing the hotel so well!
AAR RoseThis is a new Ibis Styles hotel in central Glasgow. It is newly opened and I will definitely stay here again. The rooms are all music themed (Ie the carpet has pics of the barrowlands market, it’s lovely and there are band names written all over the bathroom wall).
The hotel is very modern (neon signs at reception and bar.
The staff were so lovely.
The breakfast is buffet style but really fresh and lovely ingredients. 10/10 here. A plus factor is, it is served until 11am at weekends
A bonus is it has a 12 o clock check out policy (a massive plus for me as I like a sleep in)
PPengguna TetamuStayed here for 5nights while attending a conference at the SEC. Very friendly welcome at reception. Room was clean and tidy. Just one issue, someone had left some clothing in the drawer but housekeeping sorted this immediately. Ate in the restaurant twice with room service once. Food was lovely. Restaurant and bar staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Used the spa once and again it was very clean and tidy. Put off slightly by some younger lads messing around. My only real criticism would be the breakfast. The staff were great but the selection was poor. Only fresh fruit was a bowl of what looked like frozen berries because they were sat in liquid. No cold meats, cheese or fat free yoghurt. No hot chocolate option. Only egg choice was scrambled (due to the egg shortage according to the waiter, does that mean the scrambled eggs were powdered?). No haggis or black pudding either. What was available was tasty and did the job but as we were there for 5 days I would have liked a lighter breakfast option. Starbucks was fab. Easy access to the SEC and the station to get into town. Clean, tidy, friendly, helpful. I would definitely return.
BBee HoonWe stayed during Christmas season and there was a Xmas market next door. The hotel is spacious and all the necessary facilities, including kitchen and washing machine are provided.
WWinglalaPerfect location surrounded by a lot of restaurants and pubs. A nearby bus stop to go to the airport. The room was not 100% clean and the furniture looked a bit old. Sometimes it was a bit noisy as you can hear clearly when others walked and talked in the hallway but I didn’t mind so much as the prices were very reasonable! I didn’t try the breakfast but the area looked very comfy!
PPengguna TetamuExcellent clean and everything is available in this budget excellent and comfortable. I will next time also stay in this hotel. The location is also close to town centre and beautiful view from the room. Thank you for the hospitality and i have already recommended this hotel to my friend for staying they will also like it.
I stayed in room 10 which is a single room for 4 nights. It is located at the back of the establishment by the kitchen and kitchen air vent. There was a continuous strong smell of cooking and stale cooking oil throughout the room and bathroom. You could also hear the noise of the industrial kitchen air vent throughout the day and into the evening, which was loud as by the window. No adequate ventilation in the main room or bathroom. Window in main room did not open. Bathroom window only opened if you put something to wedge it open. As the bathroom is directly at the back by the air vent opening the window meant letting in the cooking smells. The cooking smells stays in your clothing and hair, luggage. It was nauseating. Despite leaving the bathroom window open a few hours in the early morning, this did nothing to rid the room of the stale cooking odours. I complained and was offered a full refund of the cost of the room. Unfortunately I could not find anywhere else to stay. Agreed compensation was free breakfasts during duration of my stay. Seems like the done deal in this establishment. In the bathroom there was not a adequate blind at the window for privacy. This meant that the kitchen staff outback could easily see into the bathroom. I often heard them out back laughing and talking outside. There is no adequate lock on the bathroom window. It would be possible for someone to climb up the slope and into the room through the bathroom window. They played very loud music from the pub downstairs. Unfortunately room 10 is situated above this. It made it impossible to have a relaxing evening with this loud music going on into the evening. Housekeeping on the first day was not good. Only the wet towels were removed, new ones replaced. The full rubbish bin stayed unemptied in the room. The housekeeper even failed to remove an empty toilet roll. Housekeeping after that day was excellent and one could see the physical effects of the room having been cleaned. They have employed lots of younger staff. Who were mostly polite and friendly, a couple needed more training in customer service and communication. The food was tasty and well presented. Though as I could smell the rancid cooking oil smells in the room this put me off as to the actual cleanliness of the kitchen. The room/bathroom was newly renovated. The shower was excellent good water pressure and temperature. There was no adequate bins. Only a small bathroom bin in the main room. Nowhere to hang up your toiletries or to dry your towels in the bathroom. Unsure of the effect of one's health stayed in such an unventilated environment. Breathing in the stale kitchen smells. It was quite frankly nauseating. Perhaps health and safety should be informed about this and assess. I do not plan to stay here again and would not recommend booking a single room if you are a solo traveller. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.
PPengguna TetamuI stayed here for a night in March for a short trip to Glasgow. It was inexpensive, which was the primary factor in my decision, but I don't think I'd stay here again. I had to wait for a while after check-in at 3pm because my room wasn't ready yet. The room itself was okay, down some stairs, not too crammed, and all the beds had privacy curtains. Each bed also has a light and socket, which is basically a necessity these days but not a given everywhere. There were lockers in the room, but they were so shaky and only fitted a certain size of padlock, so I didn't bother to use one as I knew I'd be making an absolute racket every time I put my bag in or took it out. There was an ensuite bathroom which is always a plus, knowing you don't have to worry about forgetting your key/card every time. It was spacious and the shower was wonderful, really strong, and there was even a bathtub (though I can't imagine anyone using it in an eight-person dorm). Unfortunately using the shower basically flooded half the ensuite, and all the guests had to use toilet roll to wipe up all the water. Location is okay. It's not too far from the train station or city centre (though there is a big hill between the hostel and city centre), but far enough that you don't get late night party noise outside. It's also closer to the museums in the west. That being said, there really isn't much else to do in the area; it was pretty run down, with many streets closed for construction, and the restaurant and night life selection was very limited. I was looking forward to a decent sleep thanks to the curtains and the fact that we were far enough from the city centre, but that was a pipe dream. The entire hostel was paper thin. You could hear everything going on in the building, every person that passed our door (which was right across from the kitchen), and on top of that, right outside our window was where people would congregate to smoke or talk loudly on their phones all night. It also didn't help that I had a lot of inconsiderate people in my room who let their alarms blare loudly at all times of morning. I didn't enjoy the vibe of the place either. Everywhere on the route to my room there were guests sitting in random corners on laptops, and there were so many older men that I was really glad I'd booked a female dorm. If you can afford something better, definitely stay elsewhere.
PPengguna TetamuI had booked the last available room here after buying Ed Sheeran tickets for myself and 7yo daughter. I was delighted at being able to secure accommodation such a short distance away - only a 10min walk! For my purpose the room was fine, although I did find the bed pretty hard but a mattress is like Marmite- some people will love it, others will hate it. I’ll admit, to my mind and based on my room alone (I can’t speak for other rooms) this wouldn’t be my choice for a long term stay but for an overnight visit it was fine. Dimitri on the front desk is worth a special mention as he is extremely welcoming, polite and cheery. I had been a bit of an eejit and hadn’t read all the booking instructions but Dimitri was very understanding, took pity on me and gave me a little leeway. So again, another big thank you to him.
