We have just spent 4 nights at the Pier Hotel and we couldn’t be more pleased it really is a wonderful place the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is to much trouble we had a room with a sea view and it was beautiful very clean and the bathroom was massive, we have eaten here every night the food is delicious and the breakfast is great so much choice. We will definitely be back perhaps later on in the year and we would also recommend it to friends and family

I have visited The Pier many times over the years just to have a bit of lunch, sitting out looking out to see. Always found the staff extremely friendly and efficient. This time we stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and were so impressed with everything about the place. Loved the decor, and we had an excellent view. Our breakfasts were delicious and again the staff were so helpful and efficient. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to all my friends. Gorleston is a very pleasant place to wander around and walking along the prom is a wonderful experience whilst looking out to sea.

This hotel is in a beautiful area and the views from our room were amazing the staff were great the restaurant food perfect bar staff very knowledgeable and friendly I would definitely be this hotel to others and will definitely be staying there again myself

We only stayed for one night in room 106 but would stay again as it was a very comfortable stay. There are just a couple of issues that would’ve made it a perfect stay rather than a nice stay. The room was small but clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and warm. The bathroom had a smell of drains about it and we couldn’t get the TV to come on so some instructions for that would have been handy. We ate in the bar at lunch time – I had the veggie burger which was tasty but for the price you pay, I’d expect a bit more of a salad with it. My partner had the shepherds pie which looked amazing and home cooked. I had a wine and my partner had Doom bar on tap but they didn’t taste great – wine tasted cheap. Breakfast was ok but nothing special really – and slow to top up things like the bread and bowls of fruit. Would’ve preferred tinned tomatoes and button mushrooms rather than half a large portabella mushroom. The carpet on the stairs was a bit grubby and could’ve done with a vacuum but it wasn’t done in the time we were there. All of the staff were really nice and the position of the hotel right next to the beach can’t be any better.

5 star hotel for 3 star price Unbelievable. Someone has put alot of work into this establishment. I am fairly well travelled and never have I had a whirlpool bath with a TV ... But some rooms not all have this at this hotel. I was blown away by the decor the beach view which is as good as somewhere like Burgh island hotel which charges about 6 times as much. The service also is worthy and of similar standard, how many times have I checked into a cold room when I'm working away at national chains and no one has bothered to check the heater had been put on. Join check in, it was the first thing the lady mentioned Nd made sure not only would it be sorted but that someone would also carry my bags for me.... I honestly thought I was back at The Savoy London..... Evening meal was good , it was not very busy , so I wouldnt have expected service to be an issue and it wasn't. Food was not overly fussy but good standard. To sum up .... Just book this hotel !

Lovely stay, staff couldn’t do enough for me as a single disabled female, the hotel has lovely views from both sides , the rooms are spacious, very clean and have everything you could need , I was on the second floor but there was a lift, I stayed in a double room as a treat and I’m definitely going to go back again, as a vegan breakfast was lovely and the restaurant staff where fantastic and so helpful, there is a wonderful bar area and outside seating I was very lucky to have amazing weather so sat outside in the sun with my coffee ,

Just had another very successful stay in the Pier. As usual everything was perfect. Room excellent with sea view. Location, food and staff all very high standard. We would highly recommend and will obviously be coming again. John and Wendy

An excellent location. Very friendly and most helpful staff. Food is just excellent. The room is very clean and everything we needed is here. Lovely comfortable bed. We’ll definitely be coming back here. Made very welcome and very willing staff took our suitcase to our room.

What a fantastic gem by the seaside. We booked a room with a view and definitely not disappointed. Probably the best hotel room we have ever stayed in. Beautiful and stylish with everything and more. Our first ever experience of a tv in the bathroom so you can relax in the bubble jet bath and watch the box! There is a popular bar with a good choice of traditional meals. The breakfast was excellent too. Would highly recommend this beautiful updated and comfortable hotel.
