Hotel berhampiran Stora HamnKanalen, Gothenburg

This centrally located hotel is housed in a palatial building dating from 1889. The entrance hall and the main staircase are stunning. We booked a Junior Suite with a romantic package. The price was 325 euros. This weekend was very busy in Gothenburg and the hotel was fully booked. We got an upgrade to a specialty suite called The Maharaja Suite. This suite has an area of 80 m2. The Maharaja ballroom can be attached to it and the total area will become 150 m2. We didn't have the ballroom but the living room was very spacious and completely enough for us. There was a striking package waiting for us on the living room table. A bottle of Deutz champagne, a huge fruit plate with chocolates, and roses. All suites get also a bottle of wine and there was a half bottle of red wine. Our package included also a room service breakfast. That was quite modest or we didn't know that you will get exactly what you order. For example, if you put 2 salamis, you will get two thin slices of salami, etc. We have had problems with this same package at every Elite hotel. This time it was that the room service breakfast was added to our room bill. It took 10 minutes to sort it out.

The hotel is located right near the main shopping area and close to many interesting sites. Public transportation is a few minutes away as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was nice. The breakfast was good and there is a waffle bar available in the evenings. The street is very busy and loud so if you want some quiet you have to close the window (if you're on the street side) but once the window is closed the room is silent. Very good value for the money, I definitely recommend it.

Excellent newly opened hotel! Very comfortable bed and modern interior. I also enjoyed the Scandinavian style breakfast.

Fantastic location as it is near to the central station, tram and bus stop, and a supermarket. Generally, room is clean. Meals (breakfast, fika and dinner) is good too. Love that it offers vegetarian options. Had a great stay and may consider to stay here again if I visit Göteborg.

It’s very rare you find a hotel that checks all the boxes but this is it for me. Had the friendliest welcome when arriving at a late hour. The check in was quick, easy and I was in my room in no time. I’d forgotten adapters for my electrical items, the hotel was like no problem. Turns out the rooms have USB and USB-C plugs in the rooms so was covered. Moving onto the room. I had the best sleep ever. Perfect climate control. Wonderful views to wake up to and just every little detail was just amazing. After a delicious breakfast (lots of choice, Swedish and international cuisine), I explored the hotel further, the gym looks really good (I didn’t use it… just told myself I should have) and they also had a sauna. Moving outside, the location. The freshest air ever (it was nice to breath there) and literally just over the water from the city centre. If you like to walk, it’s perfectly acceptable however as I travelled with people who don’t like to walk, the hotel directed us to a bus stop one minute away. Literally two stops later, you’re in the centre. The hotel pointed out the work being done on the water front. There’ll soon be the option of getting back and forth that way. Finally, the team. It’s clear that this hotel clearly has the customers at the heart of what they do. Everyone I spoke to was warm, friendly and open to sharing hints and tips to make our stay in Gothenburg magical. And it was… EVERYONE needs to visit this wonderful city. I’m already planning my next trip and I will definitely stay again at this hotel.

My room was beside a busy children’s playground that ensured I woke up early, but at least the room was air-conditioned to a pleasant temperature. Showers were not in the best condition, but were usable. Breakfast was bland but dirt-cheap. All in all a “you get what you pay for” experience, so I can’t really complain.

Great environment, centrally located and attentive staff

在火車站坐60路直接到的酒店附近走路兩分鐘，在別墅區，還算方便，周圍吃飯不方便還好訂了早餐。酒店房間寬敞明亮，可以加床。淋浴間有一米X1.5米這麼大，水量超大水壓高，給了足夠的衣架。北歐的酒店似乎都沒有電熱水壺，能做到每天打掃。前台接待特別熱情親切，住宿分了兩個訂單，但服務人員愉快的將兩個訂單合併而且不用再搬來搬去，不錯的酒店，早餐豐富。

Aspenas Herrgard is a great place to have a relaxing weekend. Great location. Right next to a beautiful lake with gorgeous vistas. The room was clean and cosy. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included and it had a wide selection of items.
