Hotel terbaik di Grindelwald

The hotel is close to Grindelwald Terminal instead of Grindelwald - we went to the wrong station so it took us 20 mins to walk to the right place. The hotel is clean, tidy and new. Nice breakfast! I don’t like its hard floor though which is not cozy.

If you are looking for outstanding hospitality, delicious food and sparkling clean facilities, this is the place to stay. All of the rooms and amenities are clean, up to date and well maintained. Benjamin (executive chef) prepared my travel group with exceptional meals night after night with even better dessert. This family run business is doing everything right & I can not thank the owners and staff enough for an absolutely perfect experience! The spa is exceptional with modern saunas/steam rooms and complete with plenty of space to relax. Will stay here every time I come back! My personal favorite is the heated boot racks, leaving my feet nice and warm for a full day of skiing. Thank you Hotel Kreuz and Post!

We were six family members, I stayed for several nights in a single room (104) with an awesome mountains view in the morning. All staff were very friendly and welcoming, the host was very helpful whenever we needed any information about sightseeing and activities. The location was perfect as it was only few minutes walk to the train station or the town. The walk up to hotel was a bit steep and might be challenging to some people with heavy luggage but just take your time and enjoy the beautiful views around you while walking up. Will definitely stay there again if I visit Grindelwald in the future.

Eiger Lodge Chic - Grindelwald: I didn’t realize that the Eiger Lodge was located in Grindelwald Grund – Terminal, not in the heart of Grindelwald. Having noted that, I must say that our 7 nights at the lodge with a room and balcony facing Mt Eiger and sumptuous breakfast, I was happy for my mistake. The lodge is near the Terminal from where we purchased tickets and left via cable car for the Top of Europe – Jungfrau, and took the Mannlichen - Wengen cable cars, as well as the main Grindelwald Terminal train station. There is also a ‘shuttle train’ which runs between Grindelwald Grund and the main Grindelwald town. It’s also a few steps away from the lodge (on the other side). The owner and staff are very personable and very helpful. The lodge is an interesting mix of hostel and hotel. We were in the newly opened ‘Chic’ section. Waking up to those incredible views from our balcony was priceless. Their laundry facility is somewhat limited for the number of guests. Line-up is via the honor system – first come / first can use it. The Eiger Lodge also runs a nearby campsite (5 minute walk). Breakfast can be enjoyed inside or outside. The lodge has an outdoor restaurant (open evenings) with covered and uncovered seating. We ate there several times – good food / limited menu / cold beer. The lodge provides all guests with a free bus pass. We used ours to get to the town of Grindelwald, so we could take the cable car to Grindelwald First, where we also hiked to Bachalspsee and met the contented Swiss cows. Highly recommended.

This is not a luxury hotel per se but it makes up in many ways It is just outside the town centre but still easy walking distance with ample parking The room is modern simple but importantly quiet clean with a comfortable mattress All the amenities and facilities are there including a safe - we could not have wished for more and at such a reasonable ratite was beyond our expectations The personnel and staff were professional and engaging - it created a pleasant ambience The breakfast was exceptional with a diverse choice and importantly fresh - I would have expected such a breakfast in a five star hotel not so Congratulations - keep it up we will be back

Wir haben ca. 80.- pro person bezahlt für eine übernachtung. Der bienenkorb war okay, aber die erscheinung nicht wie auf der werbung. Man denkt man ist alleine, aber eigentlich ist man genau neben dem balkon und garten der jugendherberge wo alle gäste sitzen. Man fühlt sich eig sehr beobachtet. Beim eintreten des zimmers war es wie in einer sauna. Ich verstehe vom personal nicht, warum man nicht lüften kann bevor die gäste kommen. Es war schrecklich! Nicht mal einen ventilator hat es im zimmer. Als ich an der Rezeption gefragt habe, meinte sie, sie müssten das noch zuerst anschaffen. Na super! Im bienenkorb drinnen sollte man vllt mal die spinnweben wegmachen. Frühstück fand ich super. Es hatte von allem bisschen. Also für 80.- pro person ist es mir nicht mehr wert dort zu übernachten. Ich habe mir einbisschen mehr vom bienenkorb vorgestellt.

Cute retro property. Clean and tidy. Just a couple of minutes walk from train station. Nice views of the village and the mountains from the window and deck. Can recommend Grindewald as a good base for a trip to Jungfrau Joch. We stayed for two nights and had dinner at the hotel restaurant both nights - as there didn't seem to be too many other options open in town. The food was tasty. Service at the restaurant and the hotel both was not rude, but a little to-the-point - so don't expect warm fuzzies.

Fantastic trip to Grindewald. Great service, comfortable lodging, very good food and amazing views. Highly recommended! Family of 4, with 2 teens visited in early June and we absolutely loved it. Great base for exploring the area. Took every meal out on the amazing patio!
